“Great Japanese style restaurant with good portions and friendly services. We were there a bit early to beat the crowds. The Tonkatsu ramen was excellent and the bento with tempura was just right. Definitely we will go back to try other menu items.“

The staff are super nice and food comes out very fast Nanchatte tonkatsu ramen: milky creamy and flavor broth. It's very comforting especially on a cold day. Ramen noodles are cooked just right. Deep fried stuffed soft shell crab: a nice appetizer. The outside is very crispy and it appears to be stuffed with imitation crab meat. Omelet rice with pork cutlet and curry sauce: the portion is very large. It was very delicious. Curry sauce is nice and sweet. The pork cutlet is nice and crispy, the meat is juicy. I would definitely get this again and it would be two meals. Definitely stop by when you're craving some comfort Japanese food! The menu is very large and there is a lot to try.“

“We've been going here pretty much since they opened and we now go at least once a week. The food is great! The prices are very reasonable. The owner always provides us with great service. A very humble hardworking individual. Always happy to see us, wants to accommodate us and misses us if we miss one week. He treats us like family. This alone makes us want to support him more. Most of the time we have the Combo B and Combo C, it's what we like, but we've also had the Philadelphia roll, Tempura and Gyoza and truly we've loved everything they've made for us. I also love that the restaurant is very neat, clean and organized. The atmosphere its very relaxing. Usually theres the nice music playing on the background and a couple of TV's. Its perfect for us. It's very rare to find all of these pluses in one place. For all the good we will continue to support it.“

The ambiance of the restaurant is the first thing that hit me. It was very dark, but in comforting way. It is a very small place. The server walked us through their choices and we were immediately served. We chose their silver level. The bone marrow and toast was crazy delicious. It was full of umami flavor. It was the perfect way to start off. We ordered the spicy miso and the house broth. Both were great. The spicy miso wasn't too spicy at the beginning, but rather rich and flavorful. It did build on the spice level when it became a bit more concentrated. The house was mild and light. These soups were refilled at appropriate times as well. The meats that were served with this were melt in your mouth amazing and only took a second to cook. The veggie platter that accompanied it was a nice assortment. They also had a serve your self rice/ condiment bar. It was very clean and had a great assortment of sauces. My favorite was mixing the sesame with a bit of soy sauce and spicy chilies. It also included eggs, rice and minced beef. We had three rounds of the amazing meat and finished up the veggies. We finished our meal with the green tea ice cream at the self serve station. It is a bit pricy, but worth every penny in my opinion. I can't wait to come back.Parking: Parking in the lot right in front of the restaurant was available for an early dinner on a Thursday. They also have parking around the back of the building as well.“

“Awesome place to get some great tasting ramen! The restaurant was nicely decorated, the staff extremely friendly and of course, the food tasted great. We had the veggie king ramen with an egg add on and spice level 3. Very good. I would definitely add a higher spice next time I go. They have a cool custom menu that you fill out while waiting in line to stream line the process. Big fan of the organization! Highly recommend.“

There was a line, but I would say it was worth it :) they also provided gloves, soy sauce, wasabi packets and wipes !! Seating available but hard to grab when popular. Got the myungnam crab, salmon and bulgogi. Likes the crab best, then salmon. Then I would probably get something else instead of bulgogi but it was still good.“

“After success with the jajiang noodles, I had to try the stall right next door. Inside the fantastic Hmart market, is Kazu Mori. I’d say Katsu is there specialty with pork and chicken. I had the pork tonkatsu with curry. Huge portions and so good. I actually thought I was a bit pricey bit after I saw the quality and portions, I reconsider. Also, not a Bricks and mortar saves a bit.I think the key is to get a bunch of people and order two or three items from each stall. The choice are fantastic.“

“Stopped by for lunch on a weekday and was seated right away. The waitress was so sweet and even though she was alone, always had a smile and gave amazing service. Got the classic noodle (spicy), which also comes with rice at the end to mix the rest of the sauce. The noodles are so bouncy, chewy, and soaked up the amazing flavor of the sauce. It also had a good kick to it since I got it spicy. So happy to have found an amazing spot to eat near home!“

“Went here for the first time today. Was a late lunch and we were the only customers there. My wife ordered the Chnpon ramen I had the fried chicken ramen. We were served promptly by the efficient server. Both our dishes were flavorful and generous portions. Hard to understand the few reviewers who felt the food was bland. “The chef is the same from Wahoo Chaya. So long story short- the sushi is phenomenal as it was prior. I bring my wife and son here all the time and also invite other family members. I order the a la cart cut rolls such as the the albacore roll and the yellow tell. Sometimes I will order it either of them spicy. My wife loves the rainbow roll, baked mussels, and fresh oysters. My son who is two mind you like the temura udon and the rainbow roll. Yes he loves sushi. Usually our bill is around 100 including tip. If we invite others it is more. You will not be disappointed coming here. A true gem.“

We happen to come on a Friday night a little after they open and luckily it wasn't busy just yet. The service was really fast and the quality of the meat was amazing! The cheese tonkatsu was a bit heavier so by the time we finished grilling our meats and eating some of the udon, we were too full to finish the cheese tonkatsu. The creamy udon is a beef curry udon with a topped layer of this special cream that has this grainy texture similar to mashed potatoes. It was good to try, but I wouldn't get it again. I'll probably try the other noodles that they offer. I really enjoyed the concept of grilling the meat in front of you to your liking. It comes as a set so it was a perfect meal.
