“This is one of the best authentic Korean places you can get. Better than most places in LA County or OC. For some credibility, I am Korean. The taste is flavorful but clean. Everything is good but my favorites are the grilled pork, cold radish noodles, beef rib soup and soon tofu. My kids inhale all the side dishes everytime we come. All the waitresses are so friendly and always happy to see us. Parking is plentiful in the back.“

“The chicken was very good. We got the spicy original and soy garlic. The food was good because our food was just prepared and was hot off the kitchen. Service was a bit confusing as when we got to the store they had us input our order on the kiosk. It might be that they didn't have time to input the order since we phone it in. There was definitely a language barrier of some sort. But we ended up getting our food at the end. No comment on ambiance as the place really is for takeout. There is very limited space for you to sit there to eat. I think the seating is really for people to sit and wait to pick up their orders.“

“I came to hungry bull dog restaurant in diamond bar and it was soo good. I ordered a few dishes like the k style corn dog with pepper jack cheese and sausage, katsu with side of curry, bulgogi beef bulldog bowl, and lastly.. the kimchi fried rice. It was so much food and I loved eating inside their cute restaurant.“

“This reminds me of a home cooked Korean meal, but elevated to a higher standard of quality, due to the use of fresh quality ingredients, and made to order.Everything is so delicious. The soups are hearty and deep. No shortcuts were taken. Great banchan/side dishes. Fresh and tasty. The homemade shikye at the end of the meal is perfect too! This place is a real gem“

“Wow this place is just like the katsu I’ve had in Korea and Japan! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and amount each katsu set came with for under $20! The pork katsu was sliced THICK and the meat was super juicy! The breading on the katsu was perfectly prepared and seasoned too. Each bite had that nice crunch to it. The restaurant itself has a nice minimalist approach to the aesthetics and really cute just like Korea or Japan. The staff is super friendly and overall you’ll have a good experience here! So many people have found out about this place and it gets busy after 6pm. Be prepared to wait after 6:30pm! But the food will be well worth it. I love their omurice and the yuzu panna cotta which I’ll order again next time! This is top notch the best katsu restaurant in SoCal!!“

“Had an amazing night at Hanshin Pocha, exploring modern twists on Korean street food. The cheesy Mandu and spicy Tteokbokki were highlights, alongside the crispy Yangnyeom chicken. The Tomato Sauce Gyeran Mari, a fluffy omelette in tomato sauce, was a standout. Paired with cold beer and soju, it made for a memorable experience. Definitely a spot worth visiting for a fun and flavorful evening! Join me on IG @hotbuthungryasianguy for more delicious finds! Until next time, cheers!“

“Great food... and equally great service. Home style cooking with homemade sauces. Dodger game on TV what can be better! Kevin gave perfect recommendations and coleslaw samples for us to try. Wish I would've grabbed a pic before we dug in. Will be back soon. Thank you Wholly Smokes BBQ!“

“This has got to be some of the best fried chicken wings I have tried! These oven baked wings beat out some of the best fried wings I've tasted. Their flavors pack a punch in a delicious way. I really enjoyed their volcano (decently spicy), soy garlic and sweet spicy. All of the flavors were pretty fantastic. I'd skip over the fries as they have an interesting after taste. Their baguette bowl is a sweet garlic cream cheese filled bread bowl. Overall, it is a fantastic new wings spot with a lot of good options. I'd definitely come back for more.“

“First time coming here, good food and great service. My mom could be a bit of a Karen but the cashier was so nice, patient and answered all my moms questions. I didn't get his name but he was the cashier with black glasses. The food was very good and he make great recommendations. 10/10 experience The pictures look a bit of a mess but that's cause we tore it up fast. The chicken was crispy and juicy, a lot of fast food places have fatty chicken, not this place. Fries are bomb like mc Donald's minus the grease“

“So glad I found this hidden gem. It doesn't seem much from outside but this place has good things to offer; from food to pleasant owner. I originally wanted some kimbap, but when we got there, the kimbap was covered on the menu, figured it's been discontinued. There were other items in the menu worth trying. I got the bibimbap without the meat and it was so good because everything tasted fresh. My husband got the pork belly cup and it was also good and portion size is actually very decent for the price. We also got the fried seaweed roll that's freshly made. The owner was super nice too! He gave us a few freebies to enjoy with our meals, and on the way out he also gave us free snow cracker snacks. Besides from the great tasting food that we tried, I think the owner's kind and pleasant service is also what's going to make me come back (:“

“My experience with this restaurant was amazing. The interior in her was very retro and sleek. The workers here are so kind and helpful as well. The employees cook everything for you which was so lovely. The intestines were absolutely delicious but I will say for me, the Yang was a little hard to chew but overall it was great! Also, the side dishes were so good and there were a variety of traditional Korean dishes like jang jo rim (soybean seasoned beef) and green onion kimchi. The intestines were a bit heavy as well but I would totally come here again!“

“There wasn't a lot of Korean options I could find in SGV for a weekend lunch that included the regular tofu house kind of fare and that wasn't a place that BF and I were not returning to anymore. What caught my eye at Omma Tofu House was their cold buckwheat noodles, a perfect item to order on a hot summer day. I knew I didn't have enough appetite to finish their combo of galbi and cold buckwheat noodles, so I opted for the cold buckwheat noodles only ($14.99). BF ordered the bulgogi and beef tofu soup combo ($22.99). Everything really hit the spot. We've been back multiple times to try other things on their menu like their dolsot bibimbap, jajangmyeon, galbi, spicy pork, spicy grilled chicken, and seafood pancake. All were pretty solid. Our usual go-to now would be a solo order of tofu soup and a tofu soup combo with whatever protein we are in the mood for that meal. They refill banchan, so just bring back the empty plate to the counter for some more. The counter also has a self-serving water/tea machine so you can refill your cup too. Plenty of parking in the plaza. They close at 8 pm for all 7 days of business, so don't stop by too late, as the food court also tends to shut down around that time.“

“Best Korean Tofu Soup (sundubu-jjigae) in SGV!Tofu Bean is my go-to whenever I'm craving good comfort Korean food! My husband and I usually get the tofu soup combos with galbi. I always get the seafood tofu soup and it comes loaded with shrimp, oysters, and clam! Everything is so delicious here! All the entrees come with the traditional banchan and it's always freshly made! You know a Korean restaurant is good when their banchan is on point! As a Kpop fan I also love how they play Kpop and kdramas on the tvs! They even have RM's autograph displayed in the front of the restaurant as you walk in! Being Army I can't help but fangirl over it whenever I visit!“

“I got the Breathtaking Beef Galbi box - the meat is flavorful, the rice is cooked well & the perfect portion, and it also comes with a little salad which was also great. I also ordered a side of roasted kimchi (because kimchi is a must for me lol) which tastes amazing with some meat and rice. Gotta get the perfect bite :) Overall, I had a nice experience here - the food was great & the employees were very friendly!“

“Finally got the chance to try this dessert place after always passing by. I got the pure milk soft serve and 3 pieces of taiyaki in custard and red bean. The soft serve is a nice texture and it's very soft. The milk is a bit too sweet, in my opinion. And you can self serve on several toppings for the soft serve. The taiyaki is very good, just wish that it is a bit more crispy. They give a generous amount of filling inside the taiyaki. Inside is a small place. They only have a bench and a couple of stools. Overall, a great dessert place!“

“We came in last night and I wish we would have taken pictures but we were super hungry to even think about it. This is our second time at this KBBQ and it is worth the drive and wait. The meat is so good, well seasoned and tender. I love how they give you plenty of sides and service is better than any other kbbq I have been to. Arshin our server was awesome he is very attentive, super cool and super nice when we kept asking him for refills or questions we may have had. He was very quick to change our grill as well before it got too burnt. The vibe is cool in there and good thing it is not loud in there where we can't hear each other. That's one of our pet peeves when we are trying to eat dinner and music is too loud. Definitely worth it give it a try we can't wait to go back.“

“It's been 6 months since I came to America...I really wanted to eat soy sauce..Although it was recommended by many Koreans, I had never eaten it in Korea. It's on my tongue! I couldn't find the cold soybean paste. In the United States, you can't eat freshly made soy sauce. After becoming a fait accompliYongmunru arrived at the end of Susomun Gate without any expectations...Even though I visited at 1pm, it was crowded with people. It's just famous and the taste is so-so...?Half worried...half excitedOrdered [Ganjajang, Samseon Jjajang, Jjambbong, Kkanpung Shrimp, Green Onion Beef].As soon as I saw the amount of sauce and meat mixed into the soybean paste, my mouth watered! As I am from Gangsangdo, I was very disappointed that there were no eggs in the soy sauce.Other than that, it was a Chinese restaurant with a fantastic combination of sauce, vegetables, and meat. From now on, that damn thing from Ganjjajang! If you miss the taste of cold sauce and noodlesI definitely plan to go and eat there...If there was just one thing that was disappointing...If the noodle is a little thinnerWouldn't it have been a bit awkward? Yongmunru, which I thought was...It would be difficult to find this quality soybean paste in LA.Thank you for existing at Yongmunru. The combination of fried shrimp and sauce is so bad.In the other world, Reveru...You can't find it often in KoreaGreen onion beef is a must-have menu item at Chinese restaurants in the United States...Did the incense of the fire really bring hellfire?Crazy green onion beef that won't stop you from chopping with chopsticksYongmunru is not only good at Jjajang. It's a restaurant with amazing sides.I appoint you as the Gatmunru of the LA Ganjjajang world. This concludes Jjajang Diary.“

“Great food. Great service. Parking lot present, not the biggest but there is street parking. There was a line, but I would say it was worth it :) they also provided gloves, soy sauce, wasabi packets and wipes !! Seating available but hard to grab when popular. Got the myungnam crab, salmon and bulgogi. Likes the crab best, then salmon. Then I would probably get something else instead of bulgogi but it was still good.“

“I have never had a food spot that I would say is "my favorite" but THIS place I can for sure say is currently my (first) favorite food spot all thanks to this bossam When my friend first took me here back in December 2023, I told her the food was just "okay" but tell me why I couldn't stop thinking about this bossam after that. I took a different friend group here in March 2024 and the bossam satisfied my cravings after months of thinking about it I can't wait for the next time I get to come back here. If this dish wasn't so expensive for a single person, I would be coming back here more frequently until they remember me.“

“After success with the jajiang noodles, I had to try the stall right next door. Inside the fantastic Hmart market, is Kazu Mori. I’d say Katsu is there specialty with pork and chicken. I had the pork tonkatsu with curry. Huge portions and so good. I actually thought I was a bit pricey bit after I saw the quality and portions, I reconsider. Also, not a Bricks and mortar saves a bit.I think the key is to get a bunch of people and order two or three items from each stall. The choice are fantastic.“
“The food was delicious. We ordered the knife cut noodle soup and the spicy pork sizzler. Both were super fresh and you could taste the high quality ingredients! The bonchon were perfect too. Service from Ken to top it all off was excellent. Definitely coming back :)“

“The classic must-order menu at Sun Nong Dan is their Galbi Jjim. This time we try their Koh Galbi Jjim. The only difference from their regular Galbi Jjim is that this one comes with an ox tail.We got the medium size and the portion is big enough for 3 people. You get to choose if you want purple rice or white rice to come with it. You can add cheese and they will do a little show for you to record the cheese being torched in front of you, but we didn’t add any cheese this time. For the sauce, you can choose if you want it not spicy or spicy (there are 5 spiciness levels); we chose level 2 and it’s not too spicy, you can still taste the sweetness. Other than the 3 meat cuts, there are also potatoes, carrots, onion, and rice cake on this side. Overall, just a perfect combination that we can’t get enough of!Follow IG @hangrytrails.us for more OC foods ?️“

“Finally made it here!! My husband and I went here for date night recently and we ordered the two kinds of meat, the creamy udon, and the cheese tonkatsu. We happen to come on a Friday night a little after they open and luckily it wasn't busy just yet. The service was really fast and the quality of the meat was amazing! The cheese tonkatsu was a bit heavier so by the time we finished grilling our meats and eating some of the udon, we were too full to finish the cheese tonkatsu. The creamy udon is a beef curry udon with a topped layer of this special cream that has this grainy texture similar to mashed potatoes. It was good to try, but I wouldn't get it again. I'll probably try the other noodles that they offer. I really enjoyed the concept of grilling the meat in front of you to your liking. It comes as a set so it was a perfect meal. Will be back with some friends!“

Oddly enough, my kids love the whole Korean fried chicken and asked to eat it again lol. The bulgogi fries are fr fire though. We've also ordered the squid legs (which my kids love as well) and the seafood pasta which is a generous portion and pretty darn good.“

“Parking: Very easy even on a Saturday/ Sunday brunch day. I would say to come early to check in on their Yelp waitlist in case their place get's especially busy. If you order all these dishes with a group of 4 people, this will fill you up. Banana Latte: Tasted more of the latte than the banana. Gamberry Rose Pasta: Don't play with the spicy level. It's not death spicy but it's a bit like Shin Ramen spicy. Would not recommend this dish for my non tolerant spicy people. Pasta is wonderful though, sauce was like uni cream, there were bits of masago (tiny fish eggs) to add a nice texture, 2-3 regular shrimp and a jumbo shrimp in the dish. Beet Tataki Salad: Would highly recommend for anyone! The beef was cooked so well, medium rare on the inside and the outside sliced edges were really crispy! Salad was refreshingly and dressed well with their vinaigrette, tomato, and shredded cheese. Gambas: Not my favorite dish. The sliced bread was presented in the skillet so bottom portion of the bread was overly greasy. There was too much olive oil at the bottom of the pan than necessary. Toasted whole garlic and olives, I think the only redeemable feature of the dish would be the shrimp.“

“I came around 7pm on a Saturday evening and there was a bit of a wait so I think I had to wait about 20 minutes. The taste of the grilled cutlassfish was good, but not comparable to the cutlassfish from Jeju Island in Korea. The bibimbap also tasted average. Seeing that a lot of people around us were ordering steamed monkfish, we thought we might have ordered something wrong. If I come back later, I plan to try the barley rice set meal. The service is good too. Since all the side dishes were delicious, I think the other dishes would be delicious as well.“
