“First time coming here, good food and great service. My mom could be a bit of a Karen but the cashier was so nice, patient and answered all my moms questions. I didn't get his name but he was the cashier with black glasses. The food was very good and he make great recommendations. 10/10 experience The pictures look a bit of a mess but that's cause we tore it up fast. The chicken was crispy and juicy, a lot of fast food places have fatty chicken, not this place. Fries are bomb like mc Donald's minus the grease“

“Our company ordered lunch catering and its already over a year. Overall, the food is perfect. Honestly every company have there own lunchtime and it might be getting cold but honestly not in my office though. It is not super HOT HOT but it is ok. But the food quality is very good and much better than other korean catering. So I ordered catering for my family event and no regret. All my family member loved food, specially jab chae and galbi jjim..!! Those two are my favorite haha 10/10.“

“Another place I go to regularly and somehow never reviewed. This little place is the definition of a hole in the wall with fantastic home-made tasting food. The kimchi stew tastes as good as the ones my friends' moms make. They always use very ripe kimchi. Their dumpling soup is also very good with broth that actually has flavor. Their meats are all well marinated and the stone pot bi bim bap is awesome! They also give you tons of side dishes. Their prices are also much lower than most of the places nearby. The Aunties don't speak a lot of English but they're always so kind. Love this place. **Tip: if you prefer white rice make sure to ask or they'll automatically give you the rice with stuff like beans.“

“Mulnaengmyeon was much more delicious than nonnaengmyeon. I think it was closer to regular naengmyeon rather than Pyongyang naengmyeon. One order of naengmyeon (naengmyeon) costs almost $20, so I think it's a bit expensive, but since it comes with one sari, it's almost like 1.6 servings. The ribs were delicious, but the portion was surprisingly small. Even though it was a weekday evening, I waited for over an hour to get in. When you're feeling a bit hectic, there's a Yelp waiting line, so be sure to check it out and wait.“

“Nice little gem we recently found. Place was clean & inviting and one of the cooks did a great job explaining the menu to us. We ordered the cheese Katsu meals and the portions are perfect! Really enjoyed the salad and dressing that topped it. Bowl of miso and rice were the perfect touch to complete the meal. Cheese katsu was amazing and the food was hot and fresh and the service was great. Definitely going to put this on our list of "places to return to"“

“This has got to be some of the best fried chicken wings I have tried! These oven baked wings beat out some of the best fried wings I've tasted. Their flavors pack a punch in a delicious way. I really enjoyed their volcano (decently spicy), soy garlic and sweet spicy. All of the flavors were pretty fantastic. I'd skip over the fries as they have an interesting after taste. Their baguette bowl is a sweet garlic cream cheese filled bread bowl. Overall, it is a fantastic new wings spot with a lot of good options. I'd definitely come back for more.“

“Amongst all the korean fried chicken places I've been to, this one was among the better ones. The seasoning was on point neither too salty or too sweet. The quality of the chicken itself was just regular, so that is probably what prevented this from being higher scored. As an additional note, because they use sugars in the sauces, it doesn't reheat as well as some other places.“

“Was heading to The Habit Burger for dinner when stumbled across this place and decided to try it out. We ordered the tikkudak garlic soy tenders, Cole slaw and corn cheese. Everything was so good. The wings still maintained some crisp despite the sauce, and the sauce wasn't too overpowering. The Cole slaw was one of the best I've ever had. Corn cheese had maybe onion or some sort of spice cooked along with it that gave it a unique flavor and some dimension. Will be coming back!“

“the korean food here was amazing all three items were delicious! one of the best boneless korean fried chicken ive had! the chicken was so juicy and flavorful and amazing with the rose sauce. breading is a little much but besides that chicken was good. not pictured was the kimchi fried rice but that was perfect too! it was busy since it was a late saturday night but we ended up getting seated outside and it was so fun! music and service was amazing and chris and dana were so nice! it was our first time but me and my friends will definitely be back! the photo booth was a great addition!“

“I think overall it went over my expectations. Definitely getting your money's worth of experience. Most of the side dishes you get your own which is great if there are specific types of side dishes you get a lot with kbbq, and options are really great. Each of the meat orders comes smaller compared to what you usually get in all you can eat kbbq, which I see as a good thing as you can control more portions and less food waste. The food quality is what you'd expect, it's not gonna blow your mind but still really good for the price you are paying. Only complaint is that I wish there was more seating provided for wait, we went on Sunday 5pm for two people and waited in car for an hour.“

“We came for lunch to avoid the dinner rush. It was perfect timing. We're also vegetarian so we tried several of their vegan/vegetarian options. They have an extensive menu and tons of options. Everything was delicious. The service was amazing. Our waiter was helpful and friendly. Our favorite were the scallion pancakes and the ramen. It was a bit spicy for us, even though we asked for mild, but it was so delicious. Portions are huge. We took half home, but we're excited to have leftovers.“

“Came on a weekday night for dinner, walked in with no wait. There were two to three other parties in the restaurant through the night. We had the bossam and short rib soup and both were spectacular. I've had bossam before and wasn't impressed but having it here, I'd definitely recommend. The soup was perfect as well: 3 ribs in there, large chunks or radish, and the clear noodles in a perfectly seasoned broth. The bossam came with two sides of purple rice and fermented soybean soup as well. The purple rice is the most unique one I've had in all my years of eating a K-town as it comes with a plethora and variety of beans in it. A deviation from the norm but not bad at all. We were just a party of two so there was loads of leftovers available for the meal the next day. The portions here are typically Korean so meant for a party of four or more I'd say. I had originally bookmarked this place to try the raw marinated crab and am looking forward to returning and exploring more of the menu... although that bossam will be so tempting to get again.“

I went ahead with 5 stars because ultimately the flavor prevailed. i want you to imagine Panda Express or Chipotle but KBBQ. My suggestion is to actually have customers walk the line vs order at a kiosk and then wait for your number. Ultimately I feel like the wait will be similar and it's visually appealing to the customer knowing the last piece is just to pay and you'll enjoy your food. Prices were reasonable however you get more veggies vs. meat. The favor is ultimately top tier. I prefer my bulgogi to be with a slight char but this was authentic (i think) The banchan (not pictured) was fresh and so good! The spicy cucumber and fish cakes are my favorite! I can eat those with white rice and be done! This place needs all the flowers because it is unique in its own way and very good. Peeked in the back of house and saw what looked like quality ingredients. (based on videos i've seen on social media about korean cooking lol)“

There was a line, but I would say it was worth it :) they also provided gloves, soy sauce, wasabi packets and wipes !! Seating available but hard to grab when popular. Got the myungnam crab, salmon and bulgogi. Likes the crab best, then salmon. Then I would probably get something else instead of bulgogi but it was still good.“

“This place is so underrated, I've only ever gotten in on doordash, but this place slaps. Spicy pork and the side dishes that come along with it are all you need but you can also venture into the beef short ribs. Won't be disappointed. One of the best things left in Montebello.“

“My go-to tofu place. This restaurant has decent tofu soup. Many small dishes and good to refill. The store is clean and quiet that you feel comfortable sitting in without feeling a rush. They have free ice cream cone too. They will sing birthday song to you. Love it!!“

“Fun pocha in OC! Haus is our go to spot for a night out. The wait time can be hit or miss. They have a lot of tables so its usually not too bad. Service is always great and food is decent. They have a lot of cute decorations and even a photo booth with props. The servers are super nice and and they even have a label maker to make personalized soju bottles (not sure if they still have this)!They give a little boat of popcorn as a snack when you sit down. Our favorites to order are the watermelon and friend squid legs. The watermelon is super refreshing and balances out the greasiness of the squid. Great choice for a night out!“

“Our first time to do Karaoke and this place did not disappoint. It was nice and clean and had great size rooms with different themes. We had the room with the pole and my friend had a great time with it LOL! We were greeted by K, he was very helpful with all the information we needed. We were the first customers so we get to check out the other rooms. Even if it was just K at the front he was very nice and took great care of us, and got us everything we needed. He even danced with our friend for fun! Hahaha I like that the time is open for us to use the room and we were not rushed to leave. We were there for 3 hours and it was sooo fun! We brought our own food and drinks and it was extra $60. The price was reasonable and service was excellent and place was luxurious and clean! Will be back for sure!“

“I have been going here for as long as I remember. Korean style Chinese food usually doesn’t taste the same in the US compared to Korea, but this place tastes the same or even better. “Finally made it here!! My husband and I went here for date night recently and we ordered the two kinds of meat, the creamy udon, and the cheese tonkatsu. We happen to come on a Friday night a little after they open and luckily it wasn't busy just yet. The service was really fast and the quality of the meat was amazing! The cheese tonkatsu was a bit heavier so by the time we finished grilling our meats and eating some of the udon, we were too full to finish the cheese tonkatsu. The creamy udon is a beef curry udon with a topped layer of this special cream that has this grainy texture similar to mashed potatoes. It was good to try, but I wouldn't get it again. I'll probably try the other noodles that they offer. I really enjoyed the concept of grilling the meat in front of you to your liking. It comes as a set so it was a perfect meal. “There are several platters available. Beef and Pork. The plate for two includes so much food and is plenty for two as indicated. Refills of banchan are available. Their kimchi is a MUST. They offer cilantro which I don't see in most KBBQ spots and it surprisingly pairs well with the rest of the food. The staff grills your food and their menu indicates for patrons not to tip.“

“Walked in on a Saturday night - it wasn't too busy and we were seated immediately. We ordered the Choose 3 Combination (M), Kimchi Cold Noodle, and Beef Tartare. Service was fast and the staff were great! The Kimchi Cold Noodle was super refreshing and cuts the fattiness of the intestine. The beef tartare was also very fresh and a generous portion. There were only 2 of us so we had a lot of leftovers to take home haha. A solid gobchang spot!“

If you order all these dishes with a group of 4 people, this will fill you up. Banana Latte: Tasted more of the latte than the banana. Gamberry Rose Pasta: Don't play with the spicy level. It's not death spicy but it's a bit like Shin Ramen spicy. Would not recommend this dish for my non tolerant spicy people. Pasta is wonderful though, sauce was like uni cream, there were bits of masago (tiny fish eggs) to add a nice texture, 2-3 regular shrimp and a jumbo shrimp in the dish. Beet Tataki Salad: Would highly recommend for anyone! The beef was cooked so well, medium rare on the inside and the outside sliced edges were really crispy! Salad was refreshingly and dressed well with their vinaigrette, tomato, and shredded cheese. Gambas: Not my favorite dish. The sliced bread was presented in the skillet so bottom portion of the bread was overly greasy. There was too much olive oil at the bottom of the pan than necessary. Toasted whole garlic and olives, I think the only redeemable feature of the dish would be the shrimp.“

Orders are made at the counter and once the food is ready, your number is called and you take care of serving yourself as well as getting water, silverware, and endless banchan. Overall, nice, friendly ambiance and very quaint setting. We got a few dishes (tteokbokki with ramen, bibimbap and jjampong) and while the food was a bit over seasoned for our taste, it was good. The banchan was great and we enjoyed eating the fresh kimchi. I would go back to try some of the other dishes.“
