“The food was amazing and presented with a good value. I was most impressed by The Galbi-jjim as well as the banchan with the dotori muk or acorn jelly noodle. Very fresh meat, good portions for sharing. I loved the bright lights, colors, and the giftshop.Dietary restrictions: Please note that some of the soups have shellfish in addition to the listed ingredients.Parking: The parking lot is completely free behind the gas station and there won't be no problems.Kid-friendliness: Sharing is not a problem the kids also can share from the combo grill plates. Plenty of non-alcoholic drinks are available to order.“

“I had the Peking Duck Combo Meal twice, both times takeout and they were very good and tasty. The location was previously a Korean fast food and that’s why you see reviews of Korean food mixed in here. Google should really fix this problem.Back to the Duck Palace. The duck was well seasoned and delicious. The meat was carved out with both skin and meat so it is not just skin only. This is just another style of eating Peking Duck, not more or less “authentic “ as I had both styles in China, in Beijing no less. The combo meal comes with a Duck soup, first time it was real good, the second time I think the cook tipped the whole bottle of pepper in it ?. The carcass of the duck, mainly the neck and leg bones, were deep fried and they are surprisingly tasty, excellent when washed down with a cold beer.“

Tofu B.B.Q Restaurant Barbecue • $$
Diamond Bar

“A hidden gem in Diamond Bar!!! And they actually open until 10pm. For Diamond Bar standards that's pretty late. We love Tofu Bean - Diamond Bar. This Tofu Bean is owned by the same great owner of the Tofu Bean of Rowland Heights. Their Banchan (side dishes) are the best. The potato side dish and kimchi are my favorites. When you order a combination, the tofu soup is the same size as the regular tofu soup orders. Check them out - I highly recommend.“

Aria Korean Street Food (Inside Furai Chicken) Korean • $$
21080 Golden Springs Dr, Diamond Bar

“I stopped by looking for lunch on Thursday. This location is inside the World Market Korean supermarket on the right hand side. The location is really great for because it's close to the freeway. I ordered the 10 piece soy garlic wings. The total came out to about $20. Price is a little steep for wings. Surprisingly, the order came with about 5 potato swirls (imagine well done steak fries). The food overall was pretty good. Wings are made to order. The wait was about 15 to 20 minutes in the afternoon. I requested the sauce be tossed with the wings. This made the sauce slide off the wings and all over the bottom of the foil, so I recommend asking for it on the side. Overall, it was pretty good! Just a little steep in price. We would get again!“

“Nice place to have a cozy meal in a quiet and family-style Korean restaurant. First time here and did not know what to order. Their menu shows photos of dishes with lots of choices but we did not find one we felt comfortable in adventuring out. So we went with the basic - Korean seafood Tofu . It was a big mistake! They literally put a big piece of tofu over a few small mussels. Typically, there are small clams, shrimps , oysters and etc in the stew. Lessons learned for me! There is a tofu place across in the same plaza. Seems like this restaurant specializes in more authentic Korean dishes.“

“A group of Kiwanis friends decided to visit this traditional dumpling restaurant. It is a small family based restaurant in deepest corner of the plaza. Service is friendly, the waitress is understanding and greeted us with smiles all the time. So we ended up ordering bunch of different traditional Korean dishes. I would say everything is made well for Korean cuisine but some of buns are too dried. Other than that, we enjoy cold noodles, rice cakes, dumplings and buns. It's a nice traditional Korean eatery and mostly dumplings and buns!“

“My favorite things to order here is their new Mala tang rosé yupdduk with sausage and fish cakes! I also get the ham and cheese rice bowl or the omelette rice. Their kimbap and udon combo is really good too! It is the perfect place for a takeout at night when you just want to lounge in PJs while watching K drama and eat delicious food. The rice cakes in the yupdduk is super soft, chewy and tasty and the sauce is incredibly delicious! It is my go to restaurant to eat with a bunch of friends or to do take out!“
