“No clue how Mel's only has 3 stars... it was easy to find via GPS and was what we expected; Hollywood diner with basic breakfast staples at a good price. All of us enjoyed our food, unlimited coffee and the environment. Wait staff was nice and attentive and again we were very surprised at the affordable prices so close to Hollywood boulevard. The only thing that was weird was parking. There is a large parking lot right next to Mel's. There is a sign that states they validate parking but when we went in there the attendant said we had to do street parking. So, we parked in the street and used the meter which was fine but just a bit confused why we couldnt park in the parking lot and have it validated... anyhow, would recommend this place and will be back again!“

“This is definitely a hidden gem in Beverly Hills!!! It's in a prime location with reasonable prices. Their cocktails are affordable and have lots of flare. I recommend the "Spellbound" if you like bourbon. Their service is swift and friendly. My favorite food items were the spicy tuna crispy rice and the Wagyu Pepperoni Pizza. They also have pretty decent sized portions to share. After shopping on Rodeo Drive, Beverly Bar is a nice place to stop without breaking the bank.“

“This is a very cool place. The food is delicious and the service is spot on. They have a motorcycle theme, and they have motorcycles on display, they have a store on premises to got swag. They have a tattoo parlor and a barber shop. It's really a cool place to go.“

“This is an L.A. bar with an NYC feel…post gentrification. A good place for an intimate situation or for bein’ a gaggle of gays and theys. Not sure about the pricing as I was treated to my libations, but the service was friendly. I appreciated the attentiveness. They have high tops on one side and soft seating on the other with bar seating in between the two.“

Grab a weekend brunch, go for dinner or just for a rooftop bar lounge and and drink. (Unlike some other roof top bars/restaurants in LA, this one has zero attitude - from either the staff and crowd. “I went for my birthday based on reviews & I needed something to enjoy. I’m typically a Ruth Chris girlie, but I’ve been so many times. I took myself btw. I made a reservation, valet was very kind, I couldn’t even tell you how many people checked on me to make sure I was doing okay but I appreciated everything. The bread was amazing, the recommendations were amazing, even the other guest in the restaurant were sweet and told me happy birthday & took pictures of me. The atmosphere was beautiful, the lighting was perfect too. They even gave me a birthday card & the dessert was a 10/10. It was literally the best birthday I’ve had in years. It was worth every penny and I highly recommend coming here again.“

“Hit up this spot last night and had a great time! The crowd is hipster casual, service is solid with some very handsome bartenders, and the drinks are great! Decor is modern with a chic feel, and though this spot doesn't serve food there was an amazing pizza truck out front which they allow you to eat inside the bar. Bonus points for easy street parking in the area. Definitely looking forward to having more drinks here very soon!“

The signature dishes were the highlights including spicy big tuna cones and salmon pizza with the ever crisp dough. “Yessir! Fun lil place! It's small but cozy. With an old-school charm. Those seasoned chips are addictive. At $1 a bowl, we ordered several lol. Perfect, low-key place to unwind or meet someone for a drink. It's Hollywood without any pretense. Service was right on! And the drinks were good! Parking is a pain during rush hour. Not so much because you can't find a spot, but because Sunset is a parking lot. Definitely going to swing through again! Two thumbs all the way up!“

“Every time we visit LA we have come to the Edmond for years. They recently changed their license and unfortunately we didn’t find out until our friend came with her 18 yr. old daughter and we sat down and she had water and was carded and asked to leave. It is now 21 and over, so no more family meals here. It’s unfortunate, but true. Please Post a sign for those that have been coming for years and don’t check the website.“

This is the best I've had! Bitter and sweet balance exquisitely - not brusque. Crispy Potatos - Well done, but makes you wonder if size is right. Close to being a french fry - but large! Crispy outside, soft inside, well seasoned. Mildly curious aioli pair well. Not perfect. Maybe needs another sauce? Seared Hokkaido Scallops - Scared green curry would overpower delicate scallops, but texture remains in tact. Curry pulls out creaminess. Delicate, but flavorful. Warm and clean. Scallion paratha is so necessary to give heavy depth! Cheesecake - Yooo!! Creme Brule is my fav and this is rivaling it! Bright and tart while velvety with deep. Not heavy! You'll regret not getting. Martini - A must every visit! I love olives, but tried lemon this time and loved how big of a difference it made! Excited to try gibson/onion next!“

This place has a very rustic local vibe with high ceilings, an enclosed fire pit inside, a pool table and an outdoor patio. A great place to gather with friends and catch up. The manager came over to apologise and offered us to move to another quieter table which we kindly took. They stage kept apologizing to us about the loud crowd. Kept us happy and well served all thrice our meal. Food was great! Ambience was great! We were very happy all in all! “I made a Resy reservation to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Street parking was accessible and convenient a few steps away from the location. Once we walked in, I was greeted by first name by the host behind the bar who directed us to follow Lisa, our server, to our table for two in the garden patio. Once seated, she asked if we'd like to turn on the heated lamp, which we appreciated. We ordered the Hunan BBQ Pork Ribs (so meaty and smoky), Chilled Sesame Peanut Noodles (which my wife commented would be an ideal dish during a warm summer night), Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi (served on a toasted, pillowy brioche bun), paired with a side of the Shoestring Fries. Lastly we enjoyed an unexpected gift from the kitchen - Shanghai Triple Onion Noodles, which was a warm dish in contrast to the other cold noodles. As a thoughtful gesture, the bartender, offered us two glasses of champagne to acknowledge our occasion. To cap off our unforgettable meal, we ordered the Hochija Tres Leches and Honeymoon Bread Pudding. The perfect conclusion to a delicious and well-thought out dinner. For a location with a history dating back to the prohibition era (informed by Lisa), I'm glad to see it's continuing it's life as a bar with an innovative kitchen. As I mentioned last night, the dinner was great but the service was even better! Thank you for making our anniversary dinner memorable :)“

“This place is one of my favorite spot for HH. They have good selections of HH and drinks were my favorite drink is their Local Favorite. Beef Brisket Tacos were amazing - big enough to fill you up. Their flat iron steak and potatoes are amazing! The flan was just ok... but.... Everything about this place is too good not to post a review. Parking is street only. We were lucky to snag one next to the restaurant. Service is amazing, we had Jackie and she's so patient and attentive. Love the ambience, setting, and the aesthetics.“

We left happy with happy stomachs. I am excited to report that two years later, HATCH still exceeds my expectations. Happened to be in LA again and remembered the food. I couldn't remember the name, so I searched for it. Found the place, and it's a short walk away. Perfect. Walked in, got a table, and the service was amazing, per usual. The food was fantastic! The owner came over and checked on us, asking how everything was going. We explained how we were so happy to find HATCH again after two years and memories of the wonderful experience.
