“This is a 5+++, as you would be hard-pressed to find a more creative, flavorful and truly life-changing pasta meal than at Cento. The Spicy Pomodoro Pasta may be the singularly most delicious pasta dish on earth. The lamb meatballs… to die for. The grilled octopus, OMG. Pasta will never be the same for you. The beet spaghetti? Just ask Luca… it becomes part of you. Highly recommended.“

“We ordered the hippo bread, cauliflower, ravioli with clams and the hangar steak. All so delicious! The hippo bread is soft and sweet with that butter. The cauliflower is shareable and so good! The ravioli was fine and the hangar steak was slightly sweet and tender. Our waiter, Alejandro, was so attentive and answered all of our questions. He was fabulous! The kitchen is open so you can look and see which is always fun! Love the music, too! We walked past the restaurant but then I remembered it was by the pizza place so we circled back and found it. Can't wait to return!“

“We have been going to Horses ever since they opened since it’s right in our neighborhood. The most friendly staff with a big shout out to Amanda. The most amazing craft cocktails and absolutely delicious food. I think we’ve almost tried everything on the menu and have not been disappointed once. Can be hard to get a reservation, but we usually get there at 5:15 and are able to sit at the bar with no problem.“

“I came around 6pm. The place was busy. I was told wait will be 40 minutes, luckily they gave me the small table right away.I got the special Margherita, it was excellent. There are 2 Margheritas, one uses regular mazorella the other one uses fresh buffalo mazorella. I had the special one. It was glorious.“

“Angelini Osteria totally lived up to the hype! We had a great dinner there that night and I can't wait to go back again soon. Let's start with the star of this show: uni pasta. Oh my gosh, it was divine! The uni was so fresh and creamy and the pasta itself was cooked just right. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We also tried the baked lasagna and it was delightful. The layers were perfectly balanced and each bite was full of rich, savory flavors. Let's not forget dessert! We shared a few different things and they were all great. The tiramisu was fluffy and decadent and the chocolate mousse was rich and smooth. Overall, Angelini Osteria is definitely a must-try for Italian food lovers in Los Angeles. The food is incredible, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We can't wait to come back and try more dishes on the menu!“

“This place has such a beautiful ambience. When you walk in, the aesthetics definitely draws you in. It's light and airy and has a cozy feel to it. We tried their pizza and breakfast food and both were delicious. It gets a bit loud and noisy in here, but service was great and the food was really good. I would definitely return the next time we come back to LA.“

“This is the best vegan Italian food I've ever had. Caprese salad got the flavors and textures exactly right. Calzone was delicious, and the cacio e pepe was exactly right. Tiramisu was a lovely end to the meal. Since going vegan almost 20 years ago I have never had this kind of authentic food done so well. Atttentive service too.“

“My daughter recommended this place so we gave it a try. There was only a handful of people there… it was a Tuesday. We sat in the outdoor area. We ordered two different veggie pizzas and bread sticks (kinda pricey). There wasn’t much to choose from on the menu. The food was more like an appetizer size serving but It was delicious. I have nothing negative to say about the taste of the food or the atmosphere. However, the parking was insane. We parked directly at the curb next to the entrance of the outdoor eating area. It’s metered parking. We had to add coins every 15 minutes… it only allowed 15 minutes before it capped out ?. I’ve read others say it was an hour meter, well it wasn’t the day we visited. I set a timer on my phone (a ticket would have ruined my day).It was a nice restaurant. I experienced it once but I’m sure I won’t come again.“

“Wanted to bring my mom somewhere new to celebrate a late Mother's Day and I stumbled upon Jemma on mighty Yelp. Reservations were easy to get on a Monday night through OpenTable so that was a huge plus. The hostess during our dinner shift was very friendly and even sat us earlier than our actual reservation time. The ambiance of the restaurant was something that you would want while eating delicious Italian food - cozy, welcoming and unpretentious. Our server, who I believe was named Christopher, was very knowledgable with their whole menu. He offered the house specials but we decided to stick to our plan.We started our meal with an order of calamari which I would say was pretty delicious even though it was a bit on the more pricey side. Regardless, it was very tasty and crispy! The sauces that come with the plate were also both delectable. This appetizer well with two cocktails we ordered which were the Niki and the Basil Marg. So refreshing with the right amount of alchohol.Moving on to the mains, we got The Bianco pizza and Orecchiette pasta. The pizza was uniquely flavored and cooked to perfection. Same goes with our choice of pasta which was somewhat spicy and infused with garlic but still ended up being very, very delicious. We ended our night with a Tiramisu and a cup of hot cappuccino with oat milk. This is a must order after all of those carbs that I will never regret eating.Thank you to the awesome team of Jemma for delivering a memorable dining experience.“

“This is our fourth time here since opened. We love it and even brought some first timers. Just a couple of things, the rigatoni was not as spicy as usual, the chicken parmesan seemed a little small and $45 for corkage is a little high my feeling.“

“Ummm wow just amazing across the board. We were able to sample quite a bit. One of the outstanding treats was the grilled brussel sprouts. The margarita pizza was classic, but tasted a cut above, I think it's their sauce. The Caesar salad is big, and boy I ate all of mine. It had a perfect balance. Try the deep fried porta Bella mushrooms with their creamy dipping sauce, you might pass out it's so good.Next time I need a desert from their French tarts and macaroons in the glass case.“

“Felix was fantastic from the service to the food to the ambience with one exception: the mice. We were seated on the patio, which was lovely and comfortable and warm on a chilly night. The vines behind us were alive with mice. It was disconcerting. But the food is delicious, the pacing of the meal just perfect, the service friendly and professional. We'll dine at Felix again and hope the mouse guests have moved on to another restaurant.“

“Great Food, Excellent Service, but Beware of Billing PracticesI've been to La Scopa Italian restaurant in Venice Beach multiple times and always enjoyed the great food. Our waitress, Noelles, was fabulous, attentive, and provided excellent service. However, I had an issue with the billing process. The manager on duty, Irene, seemed inefficient, and the billing system needs improvement. The convenient tips calculator is misleading, as it includes tax in the total. This means you're essentially paying tips on taxes, which isn't fair. Additionally, there was a discrepancy in my bill. The total was $76 plus $7 tax, which should have been $83 even. However, I was charged $83.22, which is 0.22 cents more than expected. If this practice is applied to all guests and parties, it could result in a significant amount of extra revenue for the restaurant at the end of the year. I hope La Scopa addresses this issue soon to ensure transparency and fairness in their billing practices.Overall, the food and service were great, but the billing experience left a sour taste. I hope they rectify this issue to maintain their excellent reputation.“

“I like this place because it has no frills. My friend and I ordered the cheese/onion pizza. My friend is from St Luis. She knows pizza. She said this was the best pizza she's had. I thought it was fabulous also. We shared a rib eye. She likes it medium. I like it rare. They cut it for us and cooked each separately. Calamari - delicious. We had tons of left overs too. The staff was friendly, accommodating and responsive, very yummy place to dine.“

“Heard about this place having the best meatball sandwich (on focaccia) in LA. But we opted for a couple to go dishes since we were in the neighborhood. We purchased the cannelloni with ricotta and spinach entree and the zucchini alla parmigiana. Easy to make hot at home and very delicious. The only disappointment we had was we thought the dishes were a bit on the small side. But I guess that's the price you pay for high quality food. Two entrees cost about $35. It might be nice if a bit of bread was thrown into the take out bag as a surprise. Parking is kind of sparse and the store has a few spaces for seating outside.“

“The restaurant is located on the second floor of Nerano in Beverly Hills (you have to take an elevator up to the second floor through Nerano). This gives the spot kind of a fun speakeasy feel to it. When you get out of the elevator, you walk into a beautifully designed / decorated, cozy, albeit slightly quirky space. It's not large (I think the capacity is 34). Came here for a food event, which I did a review for separately, but this experience in particular was grabbing a drink at the bar. (I did think the food was delicious though and urge folks to come here and give this place a try. I know I want to come back and try more menu items.) The bar is beautifully designed and organized. I found myself perusing and mentally cataloguing the whiskeys as I always do when I go to new restaurants. But this place looked like a place that has fun cocktails. So I ordered The George Michael. The drinks here are really interactive, and the bartenders are super enthusiastic to the point that it's infectious. My drink in particular had some bowls that floated up and you had to catch it with a paddle. Flavor wise it was like espresso martini with a peanut butter twist to it. All in all this place is a great place to grab drinks and/or food. Lots of fun. There's a lot of street parking nearby, but it could get challenging especially during the weekends. I came in the middle of the week and was able to find parking about a block away.“

“Funke in West Hollywood offers a delightful dining experience with excellent service. Eleanor, the sommelier, impressed with her Italian expertise, we were a group of first generation Italians so it was nice. The food, especially the rigatoni amatriciana and cacio e pepe, was outstanding, though the gnocchi was a bit mushy. The restaurant boasts an excellent vibe, a testament to its creator, the mastermind behind Mother Wolf. Perfect for indulging in a variety of pasta dishes and enjoying a memorable evening out. Oh yea and the fior di zucca were absolutely phenomenal.“

“What a wonderful Mother's Day dinner! Everyone was friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in the door. We started with the meatballs. There were three of us and the order comes with two meatballs. The waiter recommended 1-1/2 order so we could each have a meatball. They're made with beef, pork and veal. They were absolutely delicious. Kinda crispy on the outside but they melted in your mouth. Next we had the NY Steak which came with fingerling potatoes, fusilli carbonara and eggplant parmigiana. Steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly as was the fingerling potatoes. The carbonara was delicious with the smoky flavor of the pancetta and the eggplant had a nice crispy outside and with the creamy eggplant center had me wanting more. Just a side note the eggplant comes as is so I wished I had ordered a side of pasta to go with it but the portions were decent so not totally necessary unless you're really hungry. Lastly dessert was wonderful. Tiramisu which was not overly saturated so it tasted more cakes than other ones but so flavorful. The Cannoli was absolutely fantastic with the crunchy outside and amaretto infused mascarpone on the inside and a sprinkling of chocolate chips. Of course the NY cheesecake was rich and creamy. A perfect ending to our meal. We will certainly return as there is so much more on the menu to try.“

“I’ve visited the WeHo location but tried the Silverlake one and was NOT disappointed. The Cacio e Pepe pizza is one of the best pizzas I’ve had in my life. (Although, I have not been to Italy)I think about that Parmesan creama often lol.But I literally drove an hour to have this pizza. The server was attentive, gave thoughtful (and delicious) recommendations, and made for a great experience.Note: Parking sucks - but where does it not in LA? I found a spot on the street but there is also metered parking as well.TL;DR - Exceptional pizza and good service. True S tier pizza.“

“Food 5/5Ambiance 5/5Service 5/5The pizza was super delicious! I also go the Caesar salad. The pizza was really thin and had a lot of toppings and flavor. I got the white clam and it wasn’t too fishy. It was super delicious and tasted great with the extra lemon on top and the red peppers. I also got the sausage and pepperoni. It was also amazing and had a lot of flavor. would definitely recommend price for a large slice of pizza.“

“We thoroughly enjoyed our food and service. Our party of 6 was well taken care of, though reservations for an early dinner were necessary. Only reason “atmosphere” is 4/5 is because the ceiling was leaking water after the morning rain and we had to switch tables. This is not an issue you are likely to encounter. I will absolutely be coming back on special occasions. At the time of writing this review, entrées ranged from $35-$90 and the quality makes up for it. The plates are well portioned, though smaller than Americana; I prefer it this way. The staff were polite and thorough. The wine/drink menu was comprehensive. For hors d’oeuvres, we ordered the garlic bread (amazing sauces!), Fritto misto, burrata, and winter beets. They were all superbe. I highly recommend the garlic bread and burrata. I was able to snap pictures of 3 of our Entrées: Black linguine with lobster, squash agnolotti, and scallops. Oh, the affogato dessert had great presentation (see ice block picture). Overall, 5/5. I recommend a visit if you can afford the occasion. Valet parking was $18 with “validation”.“

“Food was delicious and service was excellent. Went with a group of about 13 around 5:30 on a Friday evening and there was nobody else at the restaurant that early so service was quick and food came out hot and fresh. My spouse and I split an order of the pesto angel hair pasta and the sauce was delicious but the chicken was sparse and cut up so small that I barely tasted it. Still good, though! And we also got an order of the garlic bread which was great, as well. Our entire table all got different dishes that everyone seemed to enjoy as well as cocktails that were a hit. The fresh bread with oil and vinegar was also plentiful and deserts were very good, as well (my spouse and I shared a panna cotta which was tasty but small).Bonus for the parking in back which was nearly empty because the restaurant had just opened and they allow you to leave your car to park for $10 until 11pm which we did as we were seeing a show at the Pantages only a short walk from the restaurant.Parking: Free parking when dining and $10 to park until 11pm if you're planning on leaving your vehicle to go to a show or anything nearby“
