“My daughter and I both love this place!! Our local spot for breakfast or a bowl, she gets the tostada bowl, I get a breakfast bowl with bacon usually or shrimp and steak for lunch. Being gluten and dairy free it's great to add the fresh lettuce and cilantro, the delicious lime rice, the grilled veggies etc to the bowl for flavor. I was going to try chipotle the other day and the didn't have shrimp so came here even though it was out of my way and was not disappointed!! The staff is wonderful, love our neighborhood spot“

“Inside was extremely noisy but the patio seating was much quieter and our server was great. Delicious food! Lovely evening overall but so glad we were able to be away from the racket inside.“

“How does this place not have Michelin stars yet? Maybe they're too cool for it? Seriously though, I've eaten at a lot of Michelin restaurants, and this one hits the high bar. It may be a little more punk rock than other fine dining establishments, but the food was amazing. You can tell everyone at the establishment absolutely loves food and what they do, and it shows in their craft. $250 all inclusive of alcohol pairings is a steal. They keep the drinks flowing, the conversation and explanations are entertaining and not stuffy, and it was all around an amazing experience. I tried so many new dishes and items I have never had before.“

“Service rushed, “people waiting,” but did not see. We had a firm reservation. For 8 course meal for $88-99 pp, one course should be finished before another arrives and you should be able to relax and enjoy. I would ask for cushioned chair next time—bare wood hard on the “rear.” Meal was imaginative and unique, but wouldn't return until next season menu offered. Service friendly but as above a little too fast. Atmosphere open and pleasant.“

“Bistro St. Germain deserves a higher rating!! Sadly, some folks couldn't help pissing on a business because they couldn't deal with COVID safety measures. This casual little neighborhood bistro has wonderfully authentic French food, nice vibes, and live music. The Boeuf Bourguignon is stellar! The market is adorable with lots of imported goodies and wine tasting. Overall a little gem in Seal Beach.“

“I really enjoyed my first time at Vaca. The roasted cauliflower was incredible. I can't wait to have it again. The paellas are shareable. The restaurant gets really busy during happy hour. A lot of people stop by before walking over to Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Make sure to get there early or make a reservation.“

“The Baja Tacos are excellent and very favorable. The food is always good. However, if you are looking for good service this is not the place. The cashier has no customer service skills. He always seems to be angry.The restroom is always out of order. Which is not a big deal because there is public restrooms around the block.The food makes up for the other flaws.Bon appetit.“

“The cheese selection is always great. I tried the smoked Gouda and honey grilled cheese with prosciutto, it was amazing!!! The cheese and mustard dipping sauce was to die for. The best grilled cheese I’ve ever had. I hope they keep this on the menu.“

Not bad but had better...pretty nice price for portion and service was decent but a little slow while after asking about boxes and bags for left over, but understand they were busy. “WOW. No words, came here this last Friday for a company event that our bosses rented out the place for and the food was SPECTACULAR!! We complained that we should've brought to go boxes because the food was mouthwatering, fresh, and constantly coming out of the oven! The wait staff was incredibly nice and easy going, but beyond that made sure our glasses were never empty. The best sauv blanc! Cant wait to come back!!“

“I've been a member at Detention 2.0 for a year now; I purchased my membership after trying Trust, their sister restaurant, next door. Some might complain about paying a membership fee to enjoy a restaurant, and at first, it was bit strange to me as well; however, having since tried it, I wish all my favorite restaurants would adopt a membership model, and I'll explain why. The monthly membership cost isn't a "membership fee" in the traditional sense. You're not actually paying "extra" for the membership. You're essentially pre-purchasing dining credits and committing to spending at least that amount each month. It's not much different than having a favorite restaurant your frequent at least once a month. By utilizing a membership model, they can provide truly TOP TIER service for their loyal and returning patrons. Rather than appeal to the masses, they've created a much more bespoke, intimate, and catered experience that makes you want to come back week after week, month after month, to try their latest drink concoctions and menu items.“

“My wife and I decided to dine at Sevilla’s last night and it was our absolute best dining decision in quite a while! Let me start off by saying Sevilla’s has an amazing Happy Hour and it now goes until 7pm and on weekends too!!!!! $10 cocktails, 50% off their cold and hot Tapas, like are you for real!? On top of that… each dish was incredibly delicious so hats off to the cooks.We also had the pleasure of having Paul be our waiter while he had a new hire shadowing whose name was Bryan. Bryan was respectful and observant on how Paul did his service so props to him.As for Paul… Sevilla is blessed to have such a genuine and engaging employee who gave amazing food and drink recommendations… always knew when to check in with us and when to let us be… he walked the line incredibly well and thanks to his service, Sevilla’s food and lastly the business owners decision to have such an amazing happy hour policy - my wife and I will be coming back routinely now.Thank you Sevilla for a lovely dining experience!“
