“This is an L.A. bar with an NYC feel…post gentrification. A good place for an intimate situation or for bein’ a gaggle of gays and theys. Not sure about the pricing as I was treated to my libations, but the service was friendly. I appreciated the attentiveness. They have high tops on one side and soft seating on the other with bar seating in between the two.“

“We've been here for dinner and brunch. One word: Exceptional in every way: Fantastic setting. Great service. Incredible menu and delicious food. Lovely Hwood views. Perfect ambiance, design and decor. Gorgeous decks, landscaping and rooftop lounge areas, restaurant and bar. Lemon Grove is one of my favorite places in all of LA. Just go. Grab a weekend brunch, go for dinner or just for a rooftop bar lounge and and drink. (Unlike some other roof top bars/restaurants in LA, this one has zero attitude - from either the staff and crowd. Just friendly, chill and pleasant. A+“

“Hit up this spot last night and had a great time! The crowd is hipster casual, service is solid with some very handsome bartenders, and the drinks are great! Decor is modern with a chic feel, and though this spot doesn't serve food there was an amazing pizza truck out front which they allow you to eat inside the bar. Bonus points for easy street parking in the area. Definitely looking forward to having more drinks here very soon!“

“Every time we visit LA we have come to the Edmond for years. They recently changed their license and unfortunately we didn’t find out until our friend came with her 18 yr. old daughter and we sat down and she had water and was carded and asked to leave. It is now 21 and over, so no more family meals here. It’s unfortunate, but true. Please Post a sign for those that have been coming for years and don’t check the website.“

Got the backyard burger two patties mustard grilled lettuce on a soft potato bun with thinly sliced pickle hit the spot for $11. Paired it with a dodger blonde five dollar draft. “This place has been here for many years but under different names & management. They all never seemed to survive the community until now. This place has a very rustic local vibe with high ceilings, an enclosed fire pit inside, a pool table and an outdoor patio. A great place to gather with friends and catch up. A full service bar with fabulous Happy Hour deals from 4-7pm. Service was very good and our food came quickly. We sat at the bar which was very roomy with comfy bar stools. *(FYI - they have hooks under the bar to hang your purse/bag) We shared the guacamole & chips, fries and cheese quesadilla which was the perfect amount for the 3 of us. *Karaoke on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sundays. “I made a Resy reservation to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Street parking was accessible and convenient a few steps away from the location. Once we walked in, I was greeted by first name by the host behind the bar who directed us to follow Lisa, our server, to our table for two in the garden patio. Once seated, she asked if we'd like to turn on the heated lamp, which we appreciated. We ordered the Hunan BBQ Pork Ribs (so meaty and smoky), Chilled Sesame Peanut Noodles (which my wife commented would be an ideal dish during a warm summer night), Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi (served on a toasted, pillowy brioche bun), paired with a side of the Shoestring Fries. Lastly we enjoyed an unexpected gift from the kitchen - Shanghai Triple Onion Noodles, which was a warm dish in contrast to the other cold noodles. As a thoughtful gesture, the bartender, offered us two glasses of champagne to acknowledge our occasion. To cap off our unforgettable meal, we ordered the Hochija Tres Leches and Honeymoon Bread Pudding. The perfect conclusion to a delicious and well-thought out dinner. For a location with a history dating back to the prohibition era (informed by Lisa), I'm glad to see it's continuing it's life as a bar with an innovative kitchen. As I mentioned last night, the dinner was great but the service was even better! Thank you for making our anniversary dinner memorable :)“

“Started with smiling and welcoming staff. Our table was next to a very loud and screaming crowd and was getting so loud that we couldn’t even talk without shouting ti hear each other. The manager came over to apologise and offered us to move to another quieter table which we kindly took. They stage kept apologizing to us about the loud crowd. Kept us happy and well served all thrice our meal. Food was great! Ambience was great! We were very happy all in all! Hands down to the staff who tolerated the loud crowd who were still there when we left!!!!“

We chose to try the squid ink paella (which they're known for) and it was a great choice, would need to come back for the seafood paella (which I saw at the next table and looked delicious) but you can't go wrong with either. The chef do this weird but really creative culinary plates that doesnt make sense, you cant even imagine how it will taste, but i know for sure it will be really boom. You will be fascinated. “This place is one of my favorite spot for HH. They have good selections of HH and drinks were my favorite drink is their Local Favorite. Beef Brisket Tacos were amazing - big enough to fill you up. Their flat iron steak and potatoes are amazing! The flan was just ok... but.... Everything about this place is too good not to post a review. Parking is street only. We were lucky to snag one next to the restaurant. Service is amazing, we had Jackie and she's so patient and attentive. Love the ambience, setting, and the aesthetics.“

“It's a funny, unexpected thing to walk through a basic, outdoor mall and then end up in such an incredible, fine dining gem (fine dining but also comfortable/casual too?). Food is delicious! Fun music. Great, inventive cocktails. Reminds me so much of when I lived in Hong Kong and loved this yakitori restaurant called yardbird. We went to Hatch once years ago and came back last weekend and were so happy we returned. Hope to go again very soon!“

“Amazing dinner at this lovely outdoor eatery. Ambience was romantic and the heaters at every table were great for not feeling cold in the night air. We had the special “Sunday Supper for 2” which included minestrone soup and a whole grilled branzino. In addition, a bottle of red or white wine accompanied the meal that cost only $59 for 2 people. The soup was thick, slightly peppery and very delicious. The branzino was perfectly cooked, stuffed with lemon, garlic and rosemary and came to the table deboned but whole. We felt that this was a Best Buy for the quality and quantity of the food. The restaurant was not crowded and the lights were dim and the noise level was low, so we totally enjoyed our meal.“

Our only complaint was the epic volume level of the restaurant. Something with the acoustics but we were pretty much forced to shout at each other to be heard.
