“Not sure why the incredibly high reviews. I would do 3.5 if I could but the atmosphere was really nice so bumped it up. It’s a cozy cafe in a cute area, seating is great. Food was fine— not super expensive, but for what it was, a little more costly than I’d prefer. Definitely not memorable, but tasted fine; cappuccino was meh. However, I’d come back just for the vibes since it’s a good place to catch up with friends etc. and I’d be interested to try a different menu item!“

“Delicious!!!!! All in house, quality ingredients, and no short cuts. The process and pride in the baking shows up in the food. The pasties are high quality, and very tasty. They use whole food ingredients; no extracts or artificial flavors. The staff is amazing, and makes you feel like part of the family. We grabbed a couple pasties, and sat in their lovely (kid and dog friendly) porch. Amazing views!! The owner came out a few minutes after we finished to ask how everything was, which pastry we enjoyed most, and catch up generally. We had a lovely conversation, and really loved our experience. We will be back each week!! We love it. Great food, and amazing, warm team here.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veg, not so many veganDietary restrictions: Some options!Parking: Plenty of free lots, and metered street parkingKid-friendliness: Yes!Wheelchair accessibility: Ada compliant!“

“This place is a hidden gem! It's conveniently located with plenty of street parking and a small parking lot. From the moment we walked up to the ordering/pickup window, a super friendly and helpful employee greeted us. He gave us awesome recommendations for their popular smoothies and toast. We couldn't wait to try the Pink Dragon and PB + Banana smoothies, and let me tell you, they were absolutely delicious! The cup size was just right, and we couldn't get enough of the Garden Toast with its flavorful feta and zesty lemon. They even have a seating area where we enjoyed our fantastic experience. We're already looking forward to going back!“

“Republik Coffee is as solid as it gets. It has good food, good coffee, and a good ambiance, which makes it a great hang out spot. The breakfast burrito, an almond danish, and a hazelnut cappuccino. It's not a large breakfast burrito, but I felt like all off the ingredients were good quality. The danish was good, and the cappuccino was solid as well.“

“Discovered this place on rainy Sunday morning. wasn't quite sure what to expect from an American Mexican Ethiopian restaurant. It's a cozy and clean place with good breakfast. Very family-friendly. But what makes this place is the lovely lady running the restaurant she is so pleasant and accommodating. A consummate professional, who provides excellent customer service.“
“Blue Lounge is an amazing lounge to sit and enjoy Shisha. They have a large variety of tobacco flavors and all pipes are "Regals" unless you choose a different specialty pipe they offer. This place is safe, clean and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of lighted parking out front and a large outdoor patio with heaters and seating outback. I love smoking here and will continue to visit GG and team!“

“So excited and proud Sugarbird finally has a storefront. My family and I have followed Chef & Owner Kei since it first started and only had regular priority mail delivery and pickup from a co-op location in Downtown LA. I stopped by after the Montrose Farmers Market, where Sugarbird was before and I believe still is for other Farmers Markets, and Kei herself was managing the store. She was nice and really excited to finally have her own storefront. I got a free tea, free clotted cream, the tea sandwich set, six scones (ube, lemon blueberry, matcha, fig & rosemary, passionfruit & earl grey) and shortbread cookies.“

“incredibly hectic. don't expect perfect service during their busy periods. we went on a sunday at 11:30 AM so it was totally expected. what the service lacks in, the food makes up for. the famous breakfast burrito is near perfection, i didnt know i needed runny eggs in my burrito but they were terrific, as was the chile verde with the burrito. the california chicken wrap was fresh, creamy, and very well seasoned.“

“I’ve been here a few times now and I’m always impressed. They treat their food and drinks with love and it really shows. Happy to say that I am now a regular!Since they’re so hidden and rather new, sometimes their business seems a little slow. Don’t let that discourage you from trying it! To the owners: maybe consider gaining some visibility to passing cars? A large sign that faces the street would be nice, I imagine a bit expensive… perhaps that electric sign could be moved to the outer window?“

“I was in the area for work and a coworker actually recommended this place to me! It seems to be one of those trusty college delis that suddenly appeared one day and permanently becomes student lore. Inside, I found a quant mini-market stocked with a bunch of snacks, drinks, and the counter for ordering. The worker (i forgot his name!) helped us immediately, and I ordered the pastrami. I sat outside, where there were plenty of tables with shade! The worker brought out the sandwich to us, and I thought it was huge! The price seemed a bit high for ne, but that wasn't too big of a concern since the sandwich was jam packed with meat and kraut. The flavor wasn't too salty for me, and had the right amount of flavor with the bread. This was a great spot, and I'll have to stop by again.“

“Discovered this gem on a trip to the Hollywood Bowl. Came in on Friday morning and the place was pretty busy but we were seated right away. Great selection on menu and lots of things sounded good like the scramble bowl and the chicken fried chicken breakfast. Loved our server who pointed out the Good Neighbor combo: 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and choice of bacon or sausage. Delicious and good value at $11 because pancakes where huge and sausage was fullsized links. Lots of leftovers. We would be regulars at this place if we lived closer!“

“My bff brought home 2 vegan pan dulces from here, they were tasty , but not mind blowing. Props & blessings to Them though for making vegan items . I had a pumpkin empanada & concha type pan: too dry imo. I'll recommend cuz they're vegan, but I won't purchase or travel here. Can't opine on the price or parking or staff as I didn't visit the site.“

“Cordova Cafe & Bottleshop isn't called Cheers, but it certainly could be - the "neighborhood hangout" vibe here is amazing! “Dining experience was for the most part very good. However, two items stood out for improvement: The table water was warm and had the taste typical of city processing. Chill and provide lemon at customers discretion. The carafe for the Coffee allowed the grounds to wind up in the cup. Please fix“

“Let me start by saying I work in all of aspects of cannabis and own restaurants in different parts of the globe. Must be 21+ to enter.Visited on a Thursday early afternoon by myself. It was nice and quiet with maybe 4 other tables besides mine.Design and atmosphere are top notch. This is not your typical stoner cafe. There’s a modern, hip feel without being pretentious. The patio has a calming vibe and was the perfect reset after a hectic day.You can order wine or beer but from the bar area. You order your cannabis off menu (outside products not allowed) anywhere and pay for that as its own item. Food and non alcoholic beverages can be ordered as well. The system may seem weird to but it’s all to ensure compliance.I ordered a pre roll pack from that was $62 with taxes and fees. 4 gram pack I believe split into 10 joints. The quality of the cannabis was actually pretty good. Note that you should not believe the THC level % on menu. California tends to skew info on the high end. Either way the joints were good.I ordered the grill cheese with tomato soup and a bottle of mexican coke cola. The meal, the joint and the sun peaking through the trees was perfect.Service was great. Waitress was friendly and happy to answer all of my questions regarding the operation and experience. You should be aware that I went when it was super chill. Evenings seem to be very busy with reservations recommended.Highly recommend you to check this out if you are a cannabis enthusiast or even just someone who likes to check out new experiences while traveling.I will 100% be back as soon as I land again in LA.“

“I am sOooo happy I found this place. I have been searching for a Cherry Mocha for the longest time. The first time I had it was @Starbucks. They discontinued this drink. I am not a fan of mocha, so I never ordered a mocha since. When I browsed thru the photos for this place, I noticed a Cherry pistachio mocha. It got me wondering. I had to go try it out. To my surprise, it was 90% similar to the cherry mocha I had @SB years ago with an addition of pistachio in it. The Cherry Pistachio was a 10! I love it so much. I m still smiling right now thinking about it. I also got this green drink that I didn't know would cost $20!!!! I find it strange how this place only listed the price for their small. They do offer medium and large. My total for 2 drinks was about $24 with 10% discount. I was in shock, so I asked for the price of each drink. Still in shock right now. This is not Erewhon lol I will return for the Pistachio cherry. Also, I am looking forward to trying the other items. I will make sure to ask for the price first lol Very small parking lot RR avail Seating avail“

“We happened upon this delicious little gem, in Montrose, after viewing the immersive Van Gogh exhibit in Hollywood. Incredibly… the decor was all Van Gogh art prints! Perfectly in tun with our afternoon. The French owner is an absolute delight. We ordered a Moroccan chicken dish and beef bourguignon. The portions were very hearty and absolutely delicious. We also upgraded our dinner to include salad and a lovely blueberry tart for dessert. The entire experience was memorable! We’ll definitely be back and bringing friends!“
