“We were walking down Pine to The Pike after dropping off our ZipCar and looking for a place to grab lunch when we found Altar Society.The building’s aesthetic caught our eye and we took a look at their menu posted outside; shareables and pizza by-the-slice sounded perfect.No wait and self-seating at 12:00PM on a Tuesday. We were greeted by Tanner who also served as our host. Tanner was knowledgeable and offered great suggestions for drinks. He provided samples of both Hard Seltzers which allowed us to choose which we liked more (we chose the 1903 P.O.G.); nice touch and shows they are proud of their product!We started with the pretzel bites and beer cheese dip, it’s the perfect portion for two; the right amount of butter and salt. The Hawaiian and Meat Lovers pizza was fresh, hot, and delicious.Thank you, Tanner and Mike, for making our first time at Altar Society a great experience.“

“Great service and atmosphere. Friendly staff and very attentive. Forgot to take photos, but food was amazing. Great flavor and came out piping hot. Albondigas: hot and lots of meatballs and veggies. Birria Tacos: crunchy and good flavor. Served with onions and cilantro Chili Relleno and Crunchy Ground Beef Taco: Taco shell was super crunchy and fresh. Lots of toppings and was spilling over. Ground beef seasoned perfectly. The chili relleno had just enough sauce and cheese on it and was so good. Got it in a combo and was served with rice and beans. The beans were homemade and you can taste that love in it. The rice was moist and had just the perfect seasoning. It was all fabulous!!“

“I have been here a few times now. Saturday morning, I had breakfast. I have to admit the banana nut pancakes are the best pancakes I have had in years. Eggs, grits and sausage patties were good also. But it is a bar. Drinks are real drinks here. Not watered down with the juices, sodas, and other stuff used to make special drinks. The bartenders are not light handed. Also, met the owner John. Great guy, made us feel very welcome.“

“I have dined here for almost 10 years or so, and I come here often for a good reason, so I sincerely wish I could rate this 5 stars. The atmosphere is fun and it's a good place to sit down, relax, and have a good time (in terms of going to a restaurant). The food is generally good but almost every time I order the nachos and explicitly ask them for no jalapenos and peppers, they put them on, as they seem to forget the exact order when it gets to the kitchen. I have had to send food back, and while I do not want to be a pest, I keep having to death with this issue and have gotten frustrated. On a more positive note, when I order other foods, they usually come out pretty good, especially for a non-formal bar. I recommend the house salad and the Chicken Fingers. If you want something less casual, this place might not be the best dining options. I am 90% sure there are less casual options, though.Parking: Depends on the day. Sometimes incredibly easy to find parking, and other days nearly impossible.Kid-friendliness: Despite being a bar, it is surprisingly kid friendly.“

“Baja Sharkeez is some of the yummiest Mexican food you can get near the beach! Everything about this place, rocks. The atmosphere is vibrant, the specials are remarkable, the food is amazing. Even the chips n salsa are top notch. Taco Tuesday!!!!! Even their baja fish, and Cheesy Birria tacos are part of the deal!!!My only issue was that one of my side orders wasn't in my to go bag- which Manager Jose, offered to make right when I called- but I live in Arizona, and didn't have time to go back to get my item, that I paid for.Other than that- this is the only time that happened- everything is always awesome, and I will always hit Baja Sharkeez when I'm in townParking: It's a beach community! So expect to pay for metered parking for your time. But the Sharkeez prices are so great, that it's so worth it“

This is the in-house cafeteria/bar at an ice skating facility. It's not a standalone pub or restaurant. So, if you're dropping by for a free skate session, or if you have a kid enrolled in one of the hockey or skating classes, it's perfectly convenient to grab a bite afterwards without having to go somewhere else. Otherwise, skip.With that being said, the food here is actually quite good, but it's a bit more expensive than you'd expect - again, it's the in-house cafeteria/bar at an ice skating facility, and it ought to be priced that way.“

“This was the first place I came once I hit my grand 21. I absolutely love it. Diana is a sweetheart, she treats you like family, I've been coming here almost a year now. I'm on a first name basis with most of the bartenders, they're all great, I absolutely feel welcomed and valued here. I try to come here at least once a month, I love the ambiance here. The patrons here are always friendly and welcoming ❤ They're the best of the best here. 10/10 recommend. They're very hospitable here, they'll never let your cup go empty, the servers are on the ball here. If you want to have a great night and make good memories, come to Froggy's Bar and Grill.“

The food is pretty authentic, it isn't terribly watered down. Delicious margaritas with flavors ranging from slushy strawberry or margaritas or a more traditional or spicy margarita. For me it really feels like a taste of home I feel like my abuelita's kitchen landed on the beach. Hint guys if you want a fun date that won't break the bank come here and hold her hand while you walk on the beach after.“

It was tastefull and it was close tasting to a blue moon. But, I finished my meal with a large mug modelo. Tasteful cauliflower bites with Buffalo and Ranch dipping sauces. They are very generous with the Philly steak in the Philly scramble. Very good.Good location for a quick bite an a beer. I'll be back.“

“This place is rad! What a cool bar to check out. The vibe was very chill for a mid week after work drink. They have pinballl which I will go back for, a pool table and different seating areas. The beer was kinda pricey but the wine was reasonable - and a healthy pour! Will return for sure.“
