“The los altos lemonade and pomegranate fizz were semisweet and delicious drinks, my fave being the former, but they were both good. Got to sip on these lovely cocktails and enjoy some good company while listening to live music as part of Los Altos First Friday. Service at the bar was standard and sufficient, and the atmosphere was noisy but full of energy inside the State Street Market food hall this past weekend, with bar seating not too difficult to find around 7pm.“

“Very impressive cooking. Thoughtful, interesting recipes. Desserts not overly sweet, a rarity in these parts. Perfect portion sizes: a meal of an appetizer, main course, and dessert is quite substantial but not humanly impossible to consume. We ordered: Halibut special appetizer - like ceviche but in tomato juice, loved it. Had no idea tomato has enough acid to cook the fish. Did not taste like there was lemon or lime in it but who knows. Burrata - not what we are used to getting as burrata, rather a ricotta filling in a mozzarella shell, unexpected and really great Agrentinian steak: steak absolutely perfect; straightforward sides executed well. Duck main course: meat also perfect, very interesting sides (baby leek and artichoke heart). Basque cheesecake: I wish I could steal their recipe. I make a good cheesecake but theirs is lighter. I am jealous :) Panna Cotta: NOT TOO SWEET THANK YOU SO MUCH Please for heaven's sake get rid of dessert jars. They are just... not a great idea. I had a stronger word there but decided to be a good girl and exercise restraint!“

“I set up decorations for an event at Puesto and the staff was incredibly helpful, professional, and engaged! I was there also painting faces and making balloons, and the service was fantastic. Good looking space. I wasn't even the customer, but definitely a great venue for a special event!“

“Quality food. Excellent cocktails. The menu is a bit boring and dishes are a little overpriced if you care about that. Been here a few times and the only thing that stands out in memory would be the cocktails. The quality of food is consistent, it's well prepared, and it's a safe bet to take people when you don't know their tastes. Good atmosphere too.“

“Without any expectations, I was highly impressed. Their Easter brunch was fantastic. We had the caviar and monkey bread appetizer and they were the bomb. My wife had the lamb cheeks over polenta and it was divine. With the great service, I found the experience one of the best I've had and I've been to three Michelin stared restaurants before.“

“Great atmosphere for a date night! We ordered the salmon tartare, rose tteokbokki, and kfc cauliflower for appetizers. All of them were great but I was most impressed by the tteokbokki!We followed with the short ribs and the basque cheesecake dessert. They were good but the appetizers were more impressive. I was also disappointed that they no longer did the sweet potato chiffon cake :(“

“This is an unusual place, basically the lobby of a new residential complex turned into a hip (for Menlo Park) lounge. The first time we were here the food was mixed (in not everything was fantastic), but the service was outstanding. This time what we ate was all delicious (the scallop ceviche was one of the best things I have ever eaten), but I had a hard time getting anyone's attention to get a glass of wine. It is designed to be a place to hang out for a while. Good cocktails, small plates of tasty food.“

“My husband and I took our moms into Flowers- Saratoga for an early Mother’s Day dinner…..I cannot say enough about the taste and presentation of the food but our server Tim was incredible! From the moment he introduced himself to our table he was an absolute delight! So fun, knowledgeable and incredibly accommodating. We can’t wait to go back and we will be asking to be seated in Tim’s section to have the best experience. I recommend visiting Flowers for your next night out!“

And the chicken salad..which was fairly generous serving and included baby tomatoes, and bacon and brie cheese. “Aloft Sunnyvale on its own is good enough value for money spent. However, what truly stood out was the customer ser ice of its front desk. Shoutout to Michelle for helping me out a ton when I was trying to extend my stay. No excuses were made and she found a way to get it done even under difficult circumstances. Roy was also great with the room upgrade when he saw that I had brought a friend and might have needed a bigger bed. 10/10 Customer Service!“

We had three great small plates and shared three mains, and it was exactly the right amount for our hearty appetites. We got some inside knowledge about the town as we are from Oregon. The drinks were perfect and the food was top notch!
