“First time here, but I'm definitely coming back.i got the jumbo beef dog with Pastrami. It's very tasty. Great service! Everyone was great!!. One of the owners is pictured. He threw in a small cup of chili, which was really good. By recommendation, I mixed the punch with the lemonade. Definitely recommend doing that! The outsider seating was nice. Even though Crenshaw is a main drag. The seating is set away from the street. If you haven't been you need to go.“

“I missed this place so much! I haven't been here since pre-covid. A wonderful friend turned me on to this place! I appreciate the free parking in the back. I usually come here too in the past, and now when I bring riders down here to Hollywood Sunset Strip. I love this cool train car turned into a great burger and hot dog restaurant. It is really clean inside and outside. The guy at the cashier is really nice, helped me out super well with my order. The cook, who you can see right in front, works really hard!!! Give these guys a raise. Ok... to the good stuff now...the Food! My order was simple, and usually, the same. Tonight, I got a chili burger, chili hot dog, no onions, as I am allergic to them. I also got a Super Large drink. Everything was so yummy! They have the best chili!!! Everything cooked to perfect temperature! I stayed here a bit as it was a Tuesday night, waiting for my riders. What an awesome night. It was a Carney's night!!! Highly recommend you check them out!!!“

“An excellent selection of Belgian and German beers. The 1809 Berliner style weisse and Duchesse Cherry were perfect on the outdoor patio. The frites were also excellent. Large enough to have fluffy interiors and crisp exterior. The wursts were juicy and cooked well. There are many different kinds for whatever more you're in.We chatted with (I believe) the owner about various beer styles and locations, and I mentioned how I miss German apflewein. He suggested we visit Alma's Cider and Brewery, which I plan to do in the future.Vegetarian options: Most of the wursts are meat based, but three of them are vegan. I recall seeing at least one vegan frites sauce (pesto). I did not inquire about kitchen protocols.“

“My hubby and I were on our way home from the airport and got hungry. It was late at night and not many establishments were open at that time. I wanted something not too heavy on the stomach and of course yelp came to the rescue. Found Dogs Chicks on my search and decided to try it. This place has a private free parking lot (not easy to find this kinda parking when you're in downtown LA) so that was nice. The place is brightly lit (so that was good too). When we came in, all the tables were taken (there were probably 10 people there). By the time we ordered our food, one table was available so we decided to eat in. We ordered a classic dog each and shared the 4 wings and 4 shrimps + fries. Love the wings & shrimps. We chose the korean sweet sauce and it wasn't too spicy or sweet. Just perfect! Oh did I mention that this place is halal? Yeah it is .. they have the halal sign displayed and also a copy of their purchase order from a halal source. I would be back again .. becoz now I know where to go to satisfy my hunger pangs late at night!“

“My visit to 88 Hotdog was an unexpectedly delightful culinary adventure, especially for someone with a penchant for creatively crafted fast food. Nestled in a bustling, crowded area where parking can be a bit of a treasure hunt, this gem stands out for its unique offerings and commendable service.Starting with the mozzarella corn dog, it was a standout in both size and flavor, offering great value for its price. The corn dog was perfectly crispy on the outside, with a gooey, stretchy mozzarella center that was both satisfying and indulgent. It’s the kind of treat that brings a smile to your face with each bite, blending the nostalgic essence of a classic corn dog with a cheesy twist that elevates it to a whole new level. The adventure didn't stop there; the yogurt drinks were a revelation in their own right. I indulged in a variety of flavors - peach, mango, blueberry, and pineapple - each one more refreshing and flavorful than the last. These drinks had a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness, with the fruit flavors shining through beautifully. They were not just good; they were exceptional, adding a refreshing contrast to the savory richness of the corn dog.The service at 88 Hotdog deserves a special mention. Despite the crowded location, the employee was friendly, efficient, and quick to serve, making the overall experience even more pleasant. It's always a breath of fresh air to encounter service that is both warm and competent, especially in fast-paced environments. While the parking situation and crowded surroundings might deter some, the culinary delights and the cheerful service at 88 Hotdog make it well worth the effort. It's a small price to pay for the joy of biting into a delicious mozzarella corn dog and sipping on exquisitely flavored yogurt drinks. For anyone in the area or those willing to brave the parking challenge, 88 Hotdog is a must-visit spot that promises a satisfying and tasty experience.“

“This establishment offers a pleasant dining experience. During my recent visit to Los Angeles, I discovered this restaurant and was impressed by the quality of their cuisine. The hot dogs were particularly noteworthy, as they were both flavorful and generously sized. The portion of fries provided was also substantial enough to satisfy the appetites of two individuals. While the beverage selection was limited to basic options, it was adequate. I intend to revisit this establishment during my next trip to the area.Additionally, I observed an intriguing decorative element within the restaurant: the walls were adorned with one-dollar bills.“

“Mochinut delights with its cleverly rotating menu and the fun of eating donut "bites" that make a dozen seem like just a few. The donuts themselves are a perfect mix of chewy, subtly sweet, and not at all greasy. While the corn dogs might be a bit too oily for some, it's likely just the Korean-style preparation. Be mindful of the limited parking in the K-town plaza, especially during busy times. A great spot for a treat, if you navigate the parking challenge.“

Went over to the churro stand thats near by and loved them. The couple that took our order was so nice. My son didn't want churros (which are made by order) so they guy offered fried banana with toppings. They really made our experience there great. So if you're in the area go by and buy a churro or 2. I’ve eaten everything from omelettes to chicken sandwiches to chicken wraps to fried fish to fried chicken to fries to nachos, almost everything on the menu as you can see. The food for one is always made to order and nothing is premade in the hopes of someone buying a particular type of food. Probably the best thing I’ve had here is the chicken wrap though. The sauces and the different options on the type of shell you can is awesome. This place is very busy in the morning so I would suggest ordering ahead if you can. Great place to eat though. “Ever since I've had a Mochinut donut, other donuts just don't hit the same. Seriously, they're so tender, and soft, and perfect. I've never had a bad experience. I work across from this location, parking is pretty bad not gonna lie. I would Uber here or have someone drop you off and circle the block because the meters are all usually taken after 11am. You can also order an order for pickup via Postmates. The workers are friendly, especially who I think is the owner, who has helped me out before. It's a small shop, about as small as the location in Ktown. My favorite flavors are...all of them. Mochinut is the only donut shop I'm not ever picky with. It's a bit on the pricy side and that's my only knock. $40+ for a dozen! There is an app called Too Good To Go however that allows you to pick up any leftover donuts from them for only $5. This app allows you to pick up goodie bags (you often don't know what's in them) from restaurants who have leftover food from the day. Mochinut is on there, and I believe if you swing by around 7pm they'll give you a bag of donuts for only $5. Definitely check it out.“
