“We loved our experience here. Attentive service and really good food. My only critique as a person with food allergies is that I wish those were listed on the menu (GF, V, DF, etc). A gluten free toast option would be amazing too, but I’ll take what I can get!“

“I could have kept eating the paella forever! We chose to try the squid ink paella (which they're known for) and it was a great choice, would need to come back for the seafood paella (which I saw at the next table and looked delicious) but you can't go wrong with either. They also have some good sangria so that was great. Cute date spot with delicious food and great service! Parking can be hit or miss but street parking is definitely available.“

“I guess we should start with parking Expect to park in a nearby structure. About a block away is a parking garage which has a sign 10 for weekend parking you can enter on Holly or Union. The parking structure across the street is very tight on spaces and turns. We made our reservation by email [email protected] They got back to us same night. Most of the tables are outside so bring a jacket. The patio does have heat lamps. But this are is like a wind tunnel. Service was very good efficient friendly. We ordered 4 tapas The octopus which was good. A salad which was nothing special, a omelette with potatoes and a flat bread with tomatoes and cilantro not worth it. Our friends order the paella seafood which is 62 dollars it says it will feed two but I would say 1.5. We ordered a seafood stew order extra bread the sauce is great. ( bread is $5). We also order a sea bass which is encased in salt. This is brought out with a flame as it is a whole fish but they take it back to the kitchen to be fillet. I have had this dish in other places which makes more of a show. The amount of fish brought back to the table and its presentation showed me the kitchen does not know how to fillet a fish. If it had been brought back whole and we could just debone it as we ate we would have had more fish to enjoy. The sea bass appeared to be a branzino. Are friends ordered dessert which was nothing special. We did order a sangria which was good. Dinner for was just south of $400 including tip and tax. We did have a fun evening The timing bringing out the food was off not all food for dinner was served at same time but as we were sharing dishes this was less of an issue. This is an area where you can walk a block down to Colorado Blvd.“

“I just finished a review of San Laurel and wanted to do A shout out to this gem of a Bar. I will only be reviewing the bar at this point because I have not eaten here yet, as I said I just reviewed San Laurel because that's where we had just come from haven eaten most of their menu, we had fully intended on leaving. We stood at the elevator glancing to our left we noticed the bar at Agua Viva and decided we should take a look at it. Before we got there we were intercepted by a manager who couldn't have been more wonderful and helpful showing us around and telling us about the spot then offering perhaps a seat at the bar for which we gladly accepted. The bartenders again were perfect and accommodating. The drinks were all wonderful trying more then we should have but it was our anniversary and we did Uber there so believe me we paid for it the next day but we ended meeting most of the staff and talked to everyone, each person nicer then the next. Its a pleasure to have gone to both of these places on our special night, both places treated us like kings and I thank everybody we met and listened to us ramble on for hours. Thank you for making our day perfect I can't recommend San Laurel and Agua Viva enough!“

“My visit to Bar Celona tapas bar was like stepping into Spain itself. It truly was an ideal spot to indulge in authentic tapas and savor the flavors of Spain. We ordered a variety of seafood dishes, including paella, mussels, calamari, and enjoyed a refreshing sangria to complement the meal. The server at Bar Celona tapas bar was friendly and attentive. The ambiance was lively, enhanced by the presence of a DJ, creating a vibrant atmosphere perfect for a memorable dining experience.“

“Hole in the wall spot for mariscos. I was in the mood for some ice cold micheladas and shrimp empanadas, which I've enjoyed in the past. Decided to dine in and had the 32 oz michelada, shrimp tacos, and molcajete de mariscos. You should order the molcajete anytime it's on the menu. It arrived with the oily broth bubbling over and stuff with octopus, mussels, shrimp, fish, and rice and garnished with 2 crab legs and a fried fish filet. This was sooo good but with the amount of oil, definitely something you eat once in a while. The michelada was good though I wasn't expecting a bottle upside down and inside my glass. I wouldn't order it like that again for hygienic reasons. The fish tacos were good but not what I was expecting as I thought I ordered the empanadas. Regardless of being served something else from what I thought I ordered, it was really good. Service is a bit slow but the ladies were nice and checked in on us. Not sure if there's a parking lot in the back but I always park on the street.“

“Casa Cordoba is a true Spanish culinary gem! My fiancée and I had an unforgettable evening, transported to Spain from the moment we stepped inside. The vibrant ambiance, fueled by live flamenco music and dance, added an enchanting touch to our dining experience. The food was exceptional--we savored the special tasting menu featuring four delightful tapas of our choice plus dessert for a reasonable $65. Each dish was a masterpiece, with the ham croquets stealing the spotlight. The owner's personal touch, greeting every guest despite the packed restaurant, added warmth to the evening. Richard, our server, was a standout with his infectious laugh and impeccable service, making us feel like VIPs. The restaurant's authentic design, from décor to table settings, completed the immersive experience. Casa Cordoba is a must-visit whether you're a foodie, music lover, or seeking a memorable night out. We're eagerly anticipating our next visit!“

“When craving pupusas and pastelitos this is the place to go. Not too mention their " en salada " drink. So delicious!! I know times are hard for everyone but I appreciate them staying open specially right now that it's hot and I don't feel like cooking with this hot weather! They always have my food ready to go and it's always accurate. Thank you!!“

“The atmosphere was astonishing I was mesmerized as I tried to catch ever beautifully decorated chandelier and pieces of art Mosaic, especially the ginormous faux melting candle. Just as you catch from the side of your eyes it a cart wheeling private bar tender inquiring on if you would like a margarita! We ordered a $75.00 plate of filet mignon, shrimp, and scallops; I was disappointed for that price they give one shrimp a d two scallops? Steak was the bomb dot com though.“

“Excellent place to celebrate a birthday for dinner. Not too crowded. Excellent ambience. Food is not too pricey. Service was amazing. Parking was free and convenient. Overall experience was terrific. I highly recommend this restaurant especially if you don't feel like driving all the way to LA or OC for the same experience. At this restaurant you don't have to worry about traffic, parking, horrible food or bad service and pay more for the same experience.“
