“Prima has amazing sandwiches. The bread is so good and there are a lot of great options. It's a little bit slow, especially during the lunch hour, but if you have time to wait it's worth it. There are a few tables inside but I prefer ordering to go.“

“Great food! Ordered at the counter and sat for dinner. My mom enjoyed her chicken and salad. I really liked my tortellini with chicken. Foccida bread was good! Felt compelled to order a pizza to go after seeing how they were making it so fresh. SO glad we did. Marg Pizza was so good!“

“I have never left a review before, but this pizza place is embedded deep in the roots of my history that I had to leave a review in saying that this place is hands down the best pizza Palo Alto could offer. I’ve been their avid customer since the days of when they used to own a bigger lot down the road during my high school years. They have never lost their taste, I wish they never lose sight of their wonderful touch and stay in this town forever. Please support this venue and keep coming back for more. You will not be disappointed, trust me! This is the way.“

“Divino is my favorite Italian restaurant on the Peninsula. It is consistently terrific- The food is wonderful, the wine selection is excellent, and it is usually busy though not noisy. It is great for a date, a birthday or any occasion! I recommend it without any reservation!“

“Take-out dinner for four adults and one toddler. High-quality, authentic Italian. Excellent homemade pasta, including pillowy spinach-ricotta ravioli. Flavorful chicken dish with roast potatoes my husband, who avoids dairy, loved: "Pollo alla Calabrese." Warm reception taking the order over the phone, as well as upon my arrival. The bread we were given to accompany was unexpectedly traditional French, with a slight sourdough note -- tasted freshly baked. Do not miss the light & airy tiramisu for dessert!“

“I had the linguine with clams, which was delicious! My husband had the special branzino which was also excellent. We shared the Rosa Di Mela (hot apple tart with vanilla gelato), which disappeared in an instant! We had a lovely server, who was so helpful and knowledgeable. All of that was wonderful and we'll certainly be coming back for the food & service. The only negative, is that sitting outside, you are right on the sidewalk by a road. If they could perhaps put up a bit of a screen or trellis, or maybe just some nice pots of flowers & plants, it would make the entire experience tremendous!“
“Came here because it was highly rated and I'm out here on business. I was able to smell this place a block away and it smelled amazing. Got the Cousin Vinny sandwich and it was great, I will definitely be back, when I'm out here for “

“Update: May 2024Vina Enoteca has grown up. It has matured into a stellar Italian fare. Reasonable prices for the food and atmosphere. All dishes were tasty although slightly on the bland side. Plays it safe. Hope the place ages well.****Food was fabulous. Great atmosphere. Trendy interior. Slightly pricey but it is Palo Alto after all.“

“The most amazing Italian food on the peninsula. Karen is so kind and attentive. We come here for every occasion we can celebrate and just being alive is one of them. Get the Ravioli if only as an appetizer to share so you can get more dishes. Every dish is amazing and the ambiance is cozy and inviting. Make a reservation if your party is larger than four just so they're ready. Small seating area outside too. I love this place.“

“What else can be said other than the food was fantastic? It was a very classy restaurant with dark intimate lighting and seating. There was a plethora of wine options and the Chianti I ordered was the perfect choice. The bread pick was really good considering it was simply bread with a side of what seemed like a balsamic vinegar olive oil mix which surprised me in being a great add on. Even though it was busy the service was exceptional and our waitress was lovely. The main course of Chicken Parmesan was pretty good and so was the Caesar salad as far as salads go. Finally the Creme bru le was so good I ate every last bite. Best spot for Italian in the area.“

“Top notch food and service! Wild boar pasta and cod stew are exceptional. Home style type of food and comfort. A true southern Italian gem. I am a regular here and Delizie never disappoints. Family style operation and very welcoming. Thank you for amazing experiences all the times : ))“

“We had a lovely experience and great customer service. The branzini special I offered wasn't as flavorful as I had a hoped. The portion size was generous and I had to pack to go as it was too much for me. I am also a small eater so that may not be the case for everyone :) Overall a very nice ambiance and great service and decent food. I'll need to try some other dishes in my next trip to determine how I feel about food there.“

“I met a friend for lunch who was late for our 11.30am appointment. Called the restaurant and they happily moved the reservation to 12.15pm, no questions asked. The servers were knowledgeable and very welcoming, the food was outstanding and we had a wonderful lunch. Overall a great experience.“

“I don't review restaurants much but I feel compelled to after the quality of the service we received for our dinner at Bellini this week. We'd ordered mushroom ravioli & they forgot to put the mushroom ravioli. We were pretty hungry so didn't care much at the time & enjoyed it (I got the fish special which was pretty good too). While getting the takeout box for leftovers, we pointed out that it was missing mushrooms. On hearing that, the server (owner?) had the kitchen prepare us a full mushroom ravioli. Moreover, we got a full container of soup to go with it! We were blown away by their dedication to leaving the customer satisfied ?“
“Due to the rainstorm, I didn't want to go very far for food and opted for the nearby cafe. The Café was open and pretty much empty (understandable because I'm sure most people were working from home instead of trying to drive into work). I ordered the croissant and a banana nut muffin. The muffin, you can request to be warmed which I opted for. The egg, cheese, and bacon croissant was delicious, and I would order again. But I am curious about the other items on their menu, especially when it comes to the latter half of the day. There was a lasagne on there that I'm super curious about.“

“Dinner with family. We always order the sole...all four of got it and one serving of pesto pasta. It was very good. Was a bit disappointed when the server told us they don't serve Chianti Classico by the glass...particularly since we've had it many times in the past.“

“Fantastic family friendly spot with amazing food. The shrimp and grits app was delicious and the grits were like a polenta cake and had great flavor. The pizza was thin with a little char and good crust. Cesar salad had a really good dressing and was very fresh. The Chicken Parmesan had great flavor, nice lightly breaded chicken with spaghetti. Can't wait to go back and try some more.Kid-friendliness: Lots of families enjoying dinner.“

“It's challenging in California to find a pizza that reminds me of NYC, here they make a delicious pie with "color"! NO BLONDE CALIFORNIA PIZZA!!! The grilled octopus appetizer was delightful, tasty good size on top of arugula...WELL DONE.Tiramisu is delicious. They also have a very nice, albeit small wine selection. We'll be back!!“

“We were craving a carbonara but we tried plenty of other items on the menu as well. We must have been hungry because we ordered a garlic shrimp and a bruschetta for appetizers. Then a risoto, bolognese, tortellini and a medium pizza Pompeii. For dessert we shared a limoncello tartufo. Service was great. The style was more of an old school Italian, nice sauces, perfectly cooked pastas. The pizza bread was thick kind and the toppings tasty. Our favorites would be the tortellini and bolognese but the rest were equally nice. The dessert was divine and I am usually not a fan of lemon. Bread is served with dinner with butter and a nice dipping sauce.“

“Love this place! Big portions and delicious food! This is my 3rd time ordering and this time we introduced it to my dad who is the pickiest eater. “This is our "go to" place for special occasions and this visit was a little disappointing. I usually go for the steak frite, but with beets...no thanks. The duck was a little over cooked and the crab bugatini was too spicy. Brocoli soup, oysters, frites were top notch. We'll. come back.“
“I love supporting small businesses and this place is the Best! I love their Lavazza cappuccino and pastries especially the cannolis! Got to try the vegetariana sandwich today and it was the best vegetarian sandwich I’ve had! Super cute spot and very kind people!“

“I recently tried the Hawaiian pizza at Mr Pizza Man in San Mateo, and it was absolutely delightful! I highly recommend the Hawaiian pizza at Mr Pizza Man for anyone craving a delicious and satisfying pizza experience. It's definitely worth a try!“

“In truth, I recommend Jessica --the front desk-- who makes sure that I receive extra marinara as well as extra sauce Anglaise... for takeout. Until, we talked, I stopped ordering from Terun on principle. I was a frequent client. Takeout customers must be honored for requests that are gladly honored when in the dining room. Takeout customers should be thanked for not causing dirty tablecloths and dishes -- and LOYALTY. Jessica reinstated that loyalty. I truly hope that the owners appreciate her. Without extra sauces the food is too dry. With it, delicious. The prices honor extra sauces and more!“

“Met a long time friend for lunch at Spasso. Valerie was our server. Very nice & professional. Gave us all the time we needed to catch up & order & eat. Felt bad that there were hardly any customers for lunch. We must support our local businesses any time we can. I shall return to enjoy their food & good service. Love their warm cabbage salad with chicken added.“

“This is a great place. I would like to give it 4.5 stars. The food is very good, nice variety of wines and a decent cocktail menu. This restaurant moved from a smaller location but they did a great job with decor and keeping service standards high. It's a little pricey but a reliable north Italian restaurant for a good meal and sharing with Friends and family“

“Well loved Italian place in downtown Los Altos. The staff are amazing and treat you like family. The food is good - my dish was just a bit heavy on the cream sauce and it was a 'healthy' portion - only complaint I was too full to try dessert.“
