“I live on the east bay but work in the peninsula. Was craving birra tacos and found them on yelp. My husband has food allergies but was willing to try the chicken soft tacos. I brought everything home across the 92. He didn't have an allergic reaction! He loved them so much, he asked me to buy them again afterwards work the next day! The birra tacos were delicious as well! The consume (dipping) is really good! Everything was wrapped nicely and still warm by the time I got home. The second day I tried a chicken burrito and that was delicious as well! I highly recommend!”

“I came here on a Thursday afternoon (~12 PM) and stayed here for a few hours to do work on my laptop. The place is relatively spacious with comfortable seats and outlets. Throughout my time there, the place was almost always completely empty. Because I was one of the only people there, the barista brought my drink right to the table I was sitting at, which was very kind. Though the name suggests they are a coffee shop, I was surprised to see the big menu at the front was for boba. I asked the cashier for the coffee menu and they had it on the back of a smaller menu at the counter. I ordered a hot chai latte. It was a big too sweet for my taste, but nonetheless quite good. This would be a great place to come to on the weekends when other coffee shops are usually full/crowded. Great place to sit and relax!”

“In search of a late lunch and the gorditas here caught my attention. Order comes with 2, and I went with the chicharon. May look small, but it was filling. Loved the texture of the crispy masa shell. Flavors of the inside was good, too - would've liked more of the chicharon. I'd definitely return as there are other menu items I'd like to try.”

“What a great discovery for me! I was waiting to order a sandwich close by, but it was taking too long. So, I walked over to Big Brothers Burgers and ordered the classic with fries. Wow! It was so huge yet delicious! Great service, and the ambiance was nice too. Highly recommend!”

“Reservations recommended. It's a fabulous find with fantastic food. This was our second visit, and my partner said the margarita she ordered was a good as our first time. The service was terrific, and the food was hot and delicious. The salsa served with the chips was teetering on the high end of my tolerance, but I'm kind of a lightweight in that regard. The only cautionary note is the environment. The space has tall ceilings and nothing to dampen sound. As a result, it is pretty raucous and lively...not ideal for quiet conversation. I wouldn't want them to change as that's part of the experience.”

“I came here with my sister, my partner's cousin, and his wife. We each had a pizza. My sister had the vegan one, which she liked a lot, and the other three of us had a great sausage one. The people here were very nice. Our party overstayed our welcome a bit and they were gracious in telling us when they were closing.”

It had been a very long time since I had a draft German beer. Lesson for me? Take a break from the strong CA IPAs once in awhile. :)”

“Sushi Shin is an amazing premium sushi experience. The seafood is extremely high quality. Most fish are from Japan but are super fresh. Seasonality of seafood is also emphasized. Highlights of the meal were "fish cheese" and monk fish liver. The space is cozy and elegant. Sake list is quite impressive. Chef was fun, personable, and did a great job on explaining the food. Service is top notch as well.”

Smelled really yummy but I was still working off my breakfast.Original estimate had my car finished in about an hour so on my second pass, I stopped to check out menu.Caribbean flavors with all sorts of protein options.I am a flexitarian but was so excited to see they had vegetarian entrees.I ordered the Curry Tofu & Jerk Polenta combo and one Pineapple Upside-down Cake, to-go.Brought it home and tasted a few bites!The sauce on Curry Tofu was yummy mild curry flavor, however I wished the cubes were a tad smaller for more flavorful surface-area ratio.Jerk Polenta, a bit spicy but so, so delicious. I would make a special trip just for this part of the dish. Crispy corners and soft middle of every wedge made it toothsome and hearty.Combo comes with sides.The mixed veggies underneath tofu and polenta were a bit salty. The Rice and Beans were a little dry but definitely had layers of flavor.Plantains were slightly sweet and a perfect-sized treat.Vegetarian options: Jerk Polenta is worth a special trip. Yummmm.”

It’s such a great neighborhood low key vibe but mixed with some of the best food I’ve had in the Bay Area - unpretentious but inventive, high quality and just hand down delicious. I love that everyone who works at Bottleshop seems to really believe in Bottleshop. It means a lot to have all your staff excited about what this place is doing. “We had a great dinner with old friends and it was quiet enough to actually hear each other! Beautiful spot by the water, great service, and the food was quite good. I had the teriyaki skirt steak which was perfectly done and delicious. My husband's halibut was good as well. The bread and Mediterranean platter were just ok but the Fritto Misty was good. If you want to go to a really crowded, noisy, popular place, this isn't it. But it's busy enough, the food is decent, the service is great, and the ambiance is really nice. I'd definitely go back.”

“Bagels are tasty but small and expensive. The lox was good enough but again the sandwich was pricey for the amount of bagel and lox you’re getting. It’s the only bagel spot around so it’s got us hooked there. Two bagels (only one lox) cost me $16 and change.”

It was a total blast, and the staff went out of their way to address my vision for the event without any hesitation. This is a great space for any up and coming musical artist that is looking for an intimate venue with flexible options for stage/furniture layout, sound equipment, lighting and more. I didn’t have to bring any of my supplemental audio equipment to the gig as a lot of it was provided by the venue - that was super convenient!My audience had a fantastic time and I will definitely be playing more DJ gigs here!”

I asked about gluten free options since the menu was not marked, and he took me through the menu to explain what could and could not be safely prepared without cross contamination. Unfortunately, not many safe options! There are very few gluten-containing items, but they spoil most of the menu for me due to a shared fryer - so no homemade tortilla chips for me! The cocktails were great, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and the staff were friendly. I just wish they would modify kitchen practices to be more celiac friendly.Dietary restrictions: Minimal truly gluten free items due to cross contamination”

“Had dinner here with three friends after the Mexican place next door was too busy and had a bit of a wait. There was no wait here so we decided to dine here. Service was nice and the food came out quickly. I ended up getting the pizza which was pretty good. My colleagues got the squid ink pasta and the other one got something else I couldn't remember. But all of us were very happy with our meals. As an Italian place this is very good and I would recommend this. Parking can be had around the back where there is a rather large pay for parking lot.”

“We wandered in to Milagros for lunch and were soon greeted and taken to the cute patio area. We ordered chips and salsa, and got three delicious salsas and a bucket of fantastic tortilla chips. My niece had a fish taco and I had the chicken taquitos. She loved her taco, and the taquitos were absolutely perfect. Jose 'el diablo', ? was our waiter. He was entertaining and likeable, very sweet and funny. The service was beyond reproach.”

“We dined on a Thursday it wasn't very busy due to rain. However we were kindly waited on and served in a timely manner. The bathrooms were also clean! There is a front and back entrance and pickup is on the left side of the front entrance when you walk in about halfway through the restaurant. (Saw many people confused by this) They have many dishes that are classic takeaway options. We didn't try anything too spicy but will have to when I return. We ordered the double mushroom chicken, veggie and brown rice fried rice, pan fried pork dumplings, and scallion pancakes( who doesn't love fried dough?) . Everything was tasty and as expected. This may be become a regular takeaway spot if I'm in rwc!”

“This food truck is absolutely outstanding. Everything made here is delicious and the owners are the nicest people. I've had everything on their menu more than once and will undoubtedly have them all again over time. I work very close and feel very fortunate that they picked this spot in Redwood City to park themselves. I especially recommend the alambre made with chuleta, the super burritos (con papas fritas) and the tacos that come with both beans and nopales on top.”

“Great little coffee shop for simple drinks and beans. Beans and coffee were really well priced!! The owners are really friendly and knowledgeable. Don’t expect fancy drinks, but just good coffee. The mocha and cappuccino were both quite good. We’re excited to try the Ethiopian Guji beans. There are lots of cute mugs for sale, too. There isn’t much seating inside, so don’t expect to bring a book or your laptop. Parking can be tough, but if you’re patient you can find a spot on the street. Lots of food options around. “One of my go to Boba places in Redwood City. They have consistent quality tea drinks with chewy boba. They also have long hours of operation Great for a late night boba. I usually have the jasmine green tea. They also have good coconut milk, tea with red bean topping. There's no place to sit but it's right in front of Redwood city Hall.”

“This place lets you order online and pickup only. No inside dining. The purple rice burritos are well made, tasty and authentic. The black soy milk, although advertised as slightly sweet but it is sweeter than I have anticipated. Parking would be challenging. Either one park at nearby capelo's which has excellent bbq or keep the blinkers on and park in front of the building.vThe purple rice dumplings are cheap, good quality and authentic. The black soy milk (slightly sweet) is a little too sweet in my opinion.”

“Eaten at "Hidden Tap & Barrel" in Redwood City. To eat, I had the mango habanero wings and they were spicy and flavor was tasty, but the wings themselves were soggy and I don't like soggy wings (I like them fully cooked and crispy, especially with a wet sauce). So the way the wings were cooked made it hard to enjoy them, they were small too. I got the 10 piece and it definitely came with more than 10 pieces so I liked that. My partner got the meat lover's pizza and that was delicious. Overall solid spot. Dim lighting, music is loud, but it's a fun spot with great drinks. Next time I'll get the pizza.”

Delicious, juicy, crispy outside fresh corn tortilla, fried with cheese, and perfectly seasoned inside. Chili oil for the side. Not too spicy, just a perfect kick. Flavor was amazing....wish I was here for more than the day so I could order again. Atmosphere ok, lots of workmen, outside tables are cute, but you are in a parking lot. The food is amazing we all had completely different dishes from pancakes to lunch to Bulgogi, all so impressive. “Been here twice now, the fries have been solid both times so always get those.We've tried the Chicago, Italian, and Kraut dogs, and the cheesesteak sandwich.Chicago dog is the best of the 3. Cheese steak is a good size. I wish they toasted their buns, everything was soft but I like crispy edges. Their milkshakes tastes like it's made from real ice cream and apple pie slices are large! The pie was cold so I don't recommend if you're craving hot apple pie right away. Luckily I live near by and we were able to reheat the pie and enjoy it at home”

“Obviously, this is still a Taco Bell and so the food is never going to be considered gourmet, but I am giving five stars for the consistent quality and service of this particular location. Every other Taco Bell that I have been to always end up making some kind of mistake, whether it is forgetting to put something in an item or just messing up the order entirely. Due to working nearby, I have frequented this establishment and my order has always been correct. The food here, at least for me, always comes out hot and fresh. This is especially apparent when I order the Nacho Fries or Fiesta Potatoes, which often comes out cold and stale at other locations. While this review may have been written after some herbal influence, I honestly do feel that this place is one of the better Taco Bell locations.”

“I actually like The Habit. We have been there a number of times in Redwood City. Except for a time when we went in and tried to use the Kiosk they now have setup, all is usually as good as expected. I will not use the kiosks again. There were problems with the order and the cashiers could not help because we used the kiosk. The food is good though. I don't live in the area anymore but I will try them where I live now.”

“We landed at SFO, and my California-born husband immediately requested that I place an online order to pick up Round Table pizza on the way to visit family in Woodside. We arrived 10 minutes early, so they put the pizza in ASAP. It was done in ten minutes, was steaming hot, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Friendly staff work at this location, which is clean and has parking.”

It seems like five or ten minutes just to order a soda , but not at this location. They also had pineapple fantas zero which was a treat. This place is pretty straight forward; Carnitas and tortillas with just few side selections which are rice and beans. That's it. This is why they perfected cooking up the carnitas.I highly recommend ordering the Combo #3 which is 6 freshly hot tortillas, 1/2 lb mixed carnitas (meat and facial pieces), a small half cup of beans and rice. The meat literally falls apart and is drenched with it's juices. I love the fatty parts such as the cheeks, ears, and other parts; this is perfect with the salsa. This combo was priced at $15 which is a great choice for a first timer. I do want to come back again and try their burrito. Their burrito is huge! basically an arm length lol. I will be back again!”

We ordered the double mushroom chicken, veggie and brown rice fried rice, pan fried pork dumplings, and scallion pancakes( who doesn't love fried dough?) . Everything was tasty and as expected. Overall Chipotle restaurants have gone a little downhill over the past few years.”
