“We had a phenomenal waiter. I asked about gluten free options since the menu was not marked, and he took me through the menu to explain what could and could not be safely prepared without cross contamination. Unfortunately, not many safe options! There are very few gluten-containing items, but they spoil most of the menu for me due to a shared fryer - so no homemade tortilla chips for me! The cocktails were great, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and the staff were friendly. “Amazing seafood market! The restaurant offers daily specials and a happy hour, which makes the prices very appealing. We went there on Monday; I ordered the 1lb lobster, and it was such indulgence! I love the potato chips too; they’re crispy but not oily. I wish I could go there every day! Definitely the best dinner experience during my one-week trip in the Bay Area.The restaurant comes with outdoor seating area, very relaxing!Parking: You could parking along the road, and they also provide parking in the back of the restaurant. It was pretty easy since it was not a major road.“

“This was a wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere was stylish: marble topped tables and gold chairs, with subdued lighting. The food was exquisite. I started with the roasted cauliflower, made with dates, mint, and harissa tahini sauce. I ordered it because it sounded exotic, and. . . I thought I’d died and gone to heaven! I will order this again! And I followed that with the Caprese pizza (mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and basil). It was, in a word, delicious! The crust was marvelous: soft and slightly chewy. I shouldn’t be surprised. The Turks have the best bread. I will definitely be back, but also want to try the sister restaurant, Mykonos.“

“Ambiance is arty, comfortable and lovely. Menu had great choices and the 3 of us were so pleased with our choices. I brought home the leftovers and they were just as delicious the next day. We had the mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, shrimp and the crab ‘taco'. The winter sangria was delicious and full body with rich red wine and port YUM just right for this time of year!“

“You can’t find a better place for bruschetta, paninis and very flavorful salads! There are so many choices. The food is not too heavy, yet very filling even for a manly appetite. Food preparation is consistent year after year.The bar menu is progressively being updated and now includes more than the robust wine menu that has always been available.Unassuming atmosphere. Good music in the evenings on the weekend. Nice covered back patio. Good space for parties.Very hard working owner and staff. There is very little turnover.Try it!“

“We felt so lucky that we were able to catch this place on a busy Sunday afternoon with barely any wait. The food tasted so authentic in a setting to match. The chefs are exposed and you can watch them work their magic. We tried the tapas, the sushi, the specials - nothing disappointed! It came out quick and hot with bold flavors. Just how we like it. “There are a few small plates available from each of several Mediterranean cuisines. The overall collection is somewhat eclectic, but the quality was consistently very good and mixing the different styles worked. The wine list is also good and fairly representative of the different cuisines.“

“The food was delicious, we had some of the best wine we’ve had in ages, the service was prompt and professional, and the atmosphere was lovely. This place is such a gem. We’ve tried a few paellas around the bay and this was easily the best (Zuzu in Napa was excellent as well). It reminded me of some of the best meals we’ve had in Europe, and I’m just waiting for some family to visit to have an excuse to go back.“
“Very nice brewery located in Menlo Park. Had dinner close by and wanted to drop by for a drink. Parking in the area was easy, and there was a parking lot close by. Their beers are good, not my favorite brewery but everything tasted fine. I felt like the prices here are more expensive for a flight compared to other places, after tip it was $32+. Service was great! Typical brewery, it was pretty loud and even more so with the arcade games. Otherwise, I prefer layout and interior of this location compared to the one in SF.“

“Expected dishes to be more expensive.Rice balls and fusion pizza were very crispy, rice balls had strong butter flavor, if you like that this is very good, 2 for $11.Cold udon was chewy, $20.Pizza was thin and crispy, strong ham taste with noticeable crab flavor. Not sure if that flavor combo works for me.Yellowtail carpaccio wasn't cold enough, fish was nice enough, but best part was the slightly sour sauce. “We were in town for Valentine's Day so I made a reservation here. I knew it would be busy, which it was, but the service was still great. We were taken care of quickly, our waters were always full (which is important to me), the wine was great and the food was even better. All the wait staff were friendly, and helpful. I would definitely recommend Pulpo if you are in the area!“

“So I think this is definitely a hidden gem among ramen spots in the area. They give HUGE portions, with really excellent flavoring. If it is your first time, be sure to go with the Dohatsusen, with your selection of broth. The spicy miso is legit, and they will top it off with the spicy minced pork that makes this place so unique. Oyako don is great as well, and they have a menu catered to kids (Yup, they will eat their vegetables for a chance at getting something from the gatcha machine!) If the indoor seating is too old school for you, then the outdoor seating is a nice option. Just know there might be winds.“

Onions: if you are allergic, beware -- they made my tacos without onion but the salsa still had onion (not just the pico but the roasted salsa too which because it had been cooked hard had the allergy part cooked out but I was still cautious a new item for me)“

Do note that there's a 20% automatic gratuity charge!Recommendations -Pkhali - this was the best dish without a doubt! The toasts were super crunchy. The beetroot and spinach balls were so incredibly flavorful!Gebjalia - cheese pinwheels combined with not too sour mint yogurt tasted really flavorful! We really liked this one!Khachapuri Adjaruli - we thought this dish might be a bit hyped ? it's just bread, cheese and egg yolk. It felt quite oily so couldn't finish the whole of it ? “Went to Joya yesterday with my husband to have late valentines dinner. The food was amazing and it came out at timely manner. We start with the Kobe sliders and ajillo . The Kobe sliders were full of flavor and the ajillo sauce is amazing . After we enjoyed the hanger stake pinxos, yuccas, stuffed jalapeños, and brossel sprouts . My husband love the picos the meat was perfectly seasoned and pared so well with the sauce on top of bread. The jalapeños were stuffed with yucca and cheese and were really good but definitely spicy. We normally get the yucca and brossel sprouts and they never disappoint. Our drinks were perfectly made but my favorite continues to be the Diablo . But enjoyed three different drinks that were amazing. Our server Jorge was attentive and made sure to check on us continuously . The ambiance is delightful. I can honestly say the thanks to the great service, amazing food, and overall delightful experience we will continue to come back .“

“I came here with my sister, my partner's cousin, and his wife. We each had a pizza. My sister had the vegan one, which she liked a lot, and the other three of us had a great sausage one. The people here were very nice. Our party overstayed our welcome a bit and they were gracious in telling us when they were closing.“
