“But what is this crazy place... Even if after 2 hours you have to leave... You will never find such good food and such a nice manager. A cool atmosphere, screens to watch sports.”

“Robin really took me by surprise. Having tried many Omakase, I was not expecting this to rank among my favorites. They are producing some remarkably creative gastronomy and sushi here!First, I appreciate that they offered three different pricing options. We chose the middle tier ($150 pp) which gave us a couple more premium cuts, such as Otoro and Uni. This was overall enough to leave us feeling full by the end of the meal.Over the course of two hours we were surprised by creative enhancements on familiar nigiri as well as completely unexpected dishes not typical to traditional omakase. Each course was an opportunity to highlight a different ingredient or flavor profile. I think they have struck an ideal balance between new and old here which is not easy to do.Chef Scott was a great host for us and the service was excellent. They have done a really nice job with the decor and ambience as well. I highly recommend Robin for any sushi lover looking for a breath of fresh air.”

“The culinary expedition to 'Smoked Heaven' was nothing short of spectacular. Each bite of the tender, slow-smoked brisket melted in my mouth, releasing a symphony of flavors that were both complex and comforting. The smoky aroma, infused with a subtle hint of hickory, enveloped the meat, enhancing its juiciness and depth of flavor. The accompanying homemade BBQ sauce, with its perfect balance of tangy and sweet, complemented the brisket beautifully, elevating the dish to new heights. The sides, particularly the creamy coleslaw and savory baked beans, were delightful, offering a refreshing contrast to the rich, smoky meat. 'Smoked Heaven' not only delivers on its promise of authentic BBQ excellence but also excels in creating an unforgettable dining experience that leaves you craving more.”

“Everything was delicious. Buff momo was juicy and flavorful. We also loved the goat thali set. But the star of the show was juju dhau. It brought back our memory in Nepal. The servers were also very attentive and efficient. You will not get disappointed.”

“Trust me, the Village Pub never disappoints! The food is always excellent and the staff is amazing. They make you feel so welcome and comfortable. Their knowledge of menu items and wine rival the cook and sommelier! Truly an organization that has captured the head, hands and heart of their employees. Can't wait to return!”

“Very happy to have Simply Pasta close by! Love the concept and the execution. Simple and customizable, very generous portions, good value, and--most importantly--fresh and delicious food! This is not like some fast casual joint where you sacrifice quality for price. Ordered takeout: - Penne with meat sauce, sausage, chicken, broccoli, mushroom. - Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. - Fettuccine Alfredo with sun dried tomatoes, olives. - Seafoods Galore: linguine with clams, scallops, shrimp in white wine, garlic, and butter sauce. - Pistachio cannolis. - Fruit tarts. All the pasta was nicely cooked, but not al dente, if that's your thing. Maybe they can do it upon request. The scallops and shrimp were tender and perfectly cooked. Everything was tasty and well balanced in flavor. Nothing was too salty, sweet, greasy, hard, soggy, or dry. Really can't fault anything about the food, which is pretty rare for any kind of restaurant! The desserts were excellent as well and not an afterthought money grab. I love food and consider myself pretty discerning. I'm really quite impressed by Simply Pasta and look forward to coming here a lot. It feels like they put a lot of thought and care into their products and business. I hope they never change and stick around for a long time!”

“Delicious food but maybe not worth the price. Our appetizers came super fast but the main course took a long time and we ordered the seared halibut which isn't a dish that should take a long time. The fried flowered cauliflower was amazing, great acidity in the sauce. The kanpachi was also incredibly delicious, again amazing because of a wonderfully acidic sauce. The halibut was cooked perfectly, the peas were so fresh and felt like popping boba, and the sauce was acidic again. I'm a huge fan of the acidic sauces and did not get tired of it, but that's something to be wary of if you're not a fan.”

“Awesome food. Service was friendly but lacking. I think they need more servers.Came here on Mothers Day. Sadly took way too long to get our drinks. (30plus minutes) and they ran out of two of their four main course offerings. Bummer. Thankfully our kind waitress tried extra hard to get my daughter something she would enjoy being hers and my husbands and her choices were not available. The ambiance is beautiful inside and out. Food was outstanding so made up for the missteps.Would come again. Hoping service and offerings will be stellar next time. :).”

“Service was amazing! Garrett was so attentive and would bring everything we needed before we could even think of asking. Service like that is what makes the experience truly memorable. The atmosphere is good too—not too loud and beautiful decor. Ingredients were delicious, but I was not a fan of some dishes (could be personal preference). The cucumber salad seemed too acidic and the pork belly with burrata pairing didn’t go well in my opinion. But again, the quality was great and the rest is personal preference. Would be an injustice if I didn’t mention that trout was absolutely delectable! Might be the best one I’ve ever had. Also, the vanilla soft serve with cardamom crumble was a hit!”

“Good food and service overall but a few hiccups for our dinner there: only an outdoor table available (but after asking if any table would become available we got one indoor in 5 min), good-but-loud live music, and no heads up what what we ordered wasn't available anymore.”

“What a wonderful surprise! I needed gluten free bakery goods, and Lolita Artisanal bakery came through with many choices. The Argentinian Alfjores were a huge hit, as was the amazing gluten free coconut macaroons. Definitely check this cafe out!”

“I live on the east bay but work in the peninsula. Was craving birra tacos and found them on yelp. My husband has food allergies but was willing to try the chicken soft tacos. I brought everything home across the 92. He didn't have an allergic reaction! He loved them so much, he asked me to buy them again afterwards work the next day! The birra tacos were delicious as well! The consume (dipping) is really good! Everything was wrapped nicely and still warm by the time I got home. The second day I tried a chicken burrito and that was delicious as well! I highly recommend!”

“This place is pretty delicious, if you can find it haha. This particular location of CRUST is kind of tucked away in the bottom floor of a group of nondescript office buildings. It's definitely not something you notice right away from the street. Me and some coworkers nearly drove right by.All that aside, the sandwiches here were very much worth the drive and effort to find. I will say though... the chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie was the star of the show. It was so soft and delicious. Make sure to pick one up if you stop by. You'll be glad you did.”

“Divino is my favorite Italian restaurant on the Peninsula. It is consistently terrific- The food is wonderful, the wine selection is excellent, and it is usually busy though not noisy. It is great for a date, a birthday or any occasion! I recommend it without any reservation!”

“Take-out dinner for four adults and one toddler. High-quality, authentic Italian. Excellent homemade pasta, including pillowy spinach-ricotta ravioli. Flavorful chicken dish with roast potatoes my husband, who avoids dairy, loved: "Pollo alla Calabrese." Warm reception taking the order over the phone, as well as upon my arrival. The bread we were given to accompany was unexpectedly traditional French, with a slight sourdough note -- tasted freshly baked. Do not miss the light & airy tiramisu for dessert!”

“A simple ambience welcomes you to the place with good indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is facilitated with lots of heaters and the vibe of the cute little downtown in Los Altos just adds up to the experience. The skeptical me opened ti menu to be surprised to see an actual fusion Indian menu with lots of favorite ingredients. Gobi - we started with cauliflower in rice flour( it's gluten free) and it was sooo crispy. Reminded me of the gobi my mom does. The spicy mayo( eggless) was the perfect combination. Paneer pesto- I was curious. The taste was similar to any Indian green chutney. But the panneer was perfectly cooked and the sauces that came along are just amazing as they look. My partner had a nice wine and he really liked it. We ordered biryani which came in an open bowl, a little oily to my taste. It was flavourful and tasty though. Would've been a 4/5 if not for the full presentation and the oil. So, I would give it a 3.5/5 Apricot kofta - this was a miss for me. The gravy is rich and the kofta is well fried. But, the apricots and the taste from them was no where to be found. The butter naan that came as a side(you pay separately) had very little butter. Though it was cooked to perfection, a small spoon of butter would've made wonders. The staff is super helpful and the service was quick. Presentation is curated and appetising. Chocolate rasamalai - it was a familiar taste. But the chop ate balanced the overtly sweet rasmalai and I liked the combination. Tiramisu - this was a miss for us. Both of us did not like the tiramisu and the gulabjamun that came along. Overall, a good experience and perfect place for date nights!”
