“A quick in and out for sliced meat. Whether it's for our shabu nights, stir fry dishes, or grilling, we like to use the beef slices here instead of getting it inside the GW market. For $10, you can get a pound of sliced meat. We usually get the angus and lamb slices. You can also ask for fattier or leaner slices of the angus, or get half and half. Come prepared with cash, I think they have a minimum for card. They also have other types of meats such as skewers, and they have other ingredients that are commonly used for hotpot.“

“If you haven’t been here before the setup might be confusing. You should head all the way to the back, go to the cashier, tell him the number of people, get a table number from him, and then get a bowl and start putting stuff you want in the bowl. The bowl is weighed and charged by the pound, but you don’t pay until you’re done eating. Then you hand the bowls to the cashier to order what type of soup you want. They hand you order numbers and you go to your table and just wait for them to bring you food. You can also make sauces at the sauce station. When you’re finished, bring your bowls back to the front and pay.Also note that you get one tong for picking up all the foods, so if cross contamination is a concern or you have food allergies, this might not be the best place to go.The lady in the front was not helpful and just shouted Chinese at us and acted like we were in her way for not knowing the rules. Some of the customers tried to help us too, but they should really just post the rules outside the store or in front of the front door to help newcomers. I think if you look East Asian, they will assume you speak Mandarin, so you should mention that you don’t speak it to clear the air. The rest of service was fine and nice, just the initial confusion didn’t feel very good.“

“Wow! What a wonderful experience! We had an early dinner on a Thursday evening to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. It was busy, but we were sat almost right away. The ambiance of the restaurant is the first thing that hit me. It was very dark, but in comforting way. It is a very small place. The server walked us through their choices and we were immediately served. We chose their silver level. The bone marrow and toast was crazy delicious. It was full of umami flavor. It was the perfect way to start off. We ordered the spicy miso and the house broth. Both were great. The spicy miso wasn't too spicy at the beginning, but rather rich and flavorful. It did build on the spice level when it became a bit more concentrated. The house was mild and light. These soups were refilled at appropriate times as well. The meats that were served with this were melt in your mouth amazing and only took a second to cook. The veggie platter that accompanied it was a nice assortment. They also had a serve your self rice/ condiment bar. It was very clean and had a great assortment of sauces. My favorite was mixing the sesame with a bit of soy sauce and spicy chilies. It also included eggs, rice and minced beef. We had three rounds of the amazing meat and finished up the veggies. We finished our meal with the green tea ice cream at the self serve station. It is a bit pricy, but worth every penny in my opinion. I can't wait to come back.Parking: Parking in the lot right in front of the restaurant was available for an early dinner on a Thursday. They also have parking around the back of the building as well.“

I (and my kids) always waste so much food (and spend sooo much more money) at the traditional hot pot places you cook the food yourself. Great menu selection, and server helped recommend what to order, what dishes, vegetables, meats, noodles etc. Food came out quickly, they gave us a little cart for everything. “Authentic Szechuan hot pot. Has all the usual items and the tomato broth is pretty flavorful if you want a non-spicy option. They have a mini bar with all the sauces and sides, plus some tasty desserts. My fave from there was the coconut jelly which has a nice addition of crunchy flakes that adds a nice texture and flavor. Faves for the hot pot itself was the ribeye and shrimp paste, the latter of which was served by the staff as they scooped them into balls for the soup. I would avoid the beef balls because they were pretty tough for my liking. Also the rice noodles require a lot of cooking and were still pretty chewy after a while.“

“One of my favorite Sichuan Pot in the area. They use plenty of food and sauce inside the broth. For the Fish fillet and Frog in Sichuan Mala Broth, it's the size for two people with many fish fillet and frogs inside the large pot. Though it's a little bit spicy, the proteins are pretty good with the fantastic taste. The staff told me that their boss asked them to add enough food to ensure customers' satisfaction. What a great experience of dining here. Attention to adjust the spicy level for any one of the pots.“

“I've never really had Ramen before, but I am officially a fan after coming here. The service was on point the same lady was assisting all four tables with complete ease. She was refilling everyone's water asking if we needed anything. She was on top of all of it even answering the phone and just from hearing other people telling her that they enjoy the meals I know it's not just me saying it. I think it's safe to say everyone in there had a great meal tonight. The restaurant itself is not too big. There is about six or seven tables in there with several chairs to each table and comfy couches to sit on. It's not the biggest restaurant but it's perfect the way it is all of the Naruto decor was pretty cool to see too. I love how they had pictures up and drawings up. It just made it feel more homelike and I appreciate that vibe. I ordered the udon noodles in my Ramen because I prefer the thicker noodles and was not disappointed at all super yummy. Super tasty. Despite the name, my friends and I all didn't feel like our hotpots were particularly spicy (the spice is diy via the sauce station). Fresh veggies, good variety, decent price for value. If you are on an allium free diet, their tomato broth does not have onion / garlic which is a plus!“

I only had three people in my party. There is plenty of parking because the parking lot is huge! It's near Big 5 and Top Island, but it's closer to the market and behind Starbucks.Each person has an individual pot and stove. You choose the soup base. You have the option to choose two soup bases, but what is weird is they will combine the two soups together! Had I known that, I would have just gotten one. I don't prefer to drink a mixed soup, but I guess it all goes down into the same place anyway. You order the meat from the server, 3-4 plates at a time. I think the meat was good.All the veggies, sauces, rice, and other ingredients are at the self-serve bars in the back. There are two rows, so there is a large variety!“

The noodle was tasty, especially with the chili oil, although some might not think it's the most authentic version. There are plenty of toppings and the bowl was quite filling.I like my noodle soup steaming hot and thought it could be improved a bit. They do have an induction stove on the table for hotpot and keeping your bowl warm. I just didn't want to wait while the noodle is soaking in the soup already. An an entry level 螺蛳粉 fan, it was still a very decent lunch.“

“My mom loves shabu, so we have eaten at nearly every single one nearby. My old favorite used to be in Rowland, but slowly they started giving less meat and watering down their sauces. LOCATION: The hot pot is located in the far left corner of "Haven" plaza. This spot is small but in a popular location. I still remember when this plaza was rundown. Parking is widely available in the daytime. FOOD:I got the perfect ten combo. This comes with a 6-piece gyoza appetizer (your choice of chicken or pork), 10oz of angus beef, a premium soup base (default is pork bone), a standard veggie bowl, and white rice. The gyoza were a bit oily but still tasty! I ended up having toro instead of angus beef because my mom didn't realize when she ordered that toro was more fatty. The toro was really tasty and filling. The standard veggie bowl has lettuce, spinach, tofu, mushrooms, carrots, a piece of broccoli and a piece of taro. It also has some udon and ramen egg noodle. The soup base was ok. I think I would go with a more natural flavor next time. Also, beware, the mild is still spicy! If you don't want spicy, ask for "no spice."I love all the sauces! You get ponzu, sesame, and satay. There's also fresh green onion, garlic, minced radish, and chili sauce to add on your own.I like that the portions are huge and filling. The price isn't cheap, but if you aren't a big eater, you can easily get a second meal out of it. Would definitely come back!“
