Delicious! Quintessential old-San Francisco vibe with adorable regulars. The food and service are excellent. Everything is so fresh and made with care. A top SF restaurant for me. Be aware - small space, be prepared to wait, not large-group friendly
Walked in and was sat right away, The Server was incredibly attentive, helpful, friendly and professional. Food service was paced perfectly. Freshest seafood, beautifully prepared and presented.The interior is small and simple, nothing fancy but very clean. I highly recommend, easy to see why Anchor has gotten mention by Michelin for seven years in a row!!!We enjoyed chowder, the smoked trout, halibut and dungeness crab burger healthy portions too!

Wonderful seafood restaurant. Started with a dozen oysters - there were three different types and they were all fresh. For mains we split a Dungeness crab and the large bowl of Cioppino among 3 people. The food was delicious and the service was perfect.
