Wayfare Tavern offers delicious meals and friendly service, a true classic SF restaurant with a relaxed vibe. The fried chicken and burger are highlights, with flavorful dishes that live up to the hype. The incredible burger, with onion and cheese, is cooked to perfection and served with thin crispy fries. The California fried chicken legs, wings, and breast are exceptionally crispy, making it a favorite for many diners. The branzino fish is excellent, and many hope it can be on the menu permanently. The food is fabulous and the service is kind, helpful, and efficient, with very fair pricing. The team found the food and service still good, with the burger or fried chicken always solid choices. The decor is tasteful, with unique touches like taxidermy animals, and many appreciate the beautiful wallpaper.
