“There is no place else in all of LA that you're gonna get a better piece of fresh kosher fish. It is so delicious unbelievable it's kind of expensive but so worth it. I recommend the salmon but they have all different kinds of fresh wildcat, kosher fish with vegetables with french fries with rice with baked potato everything here is deliciouslittle slow to get your food so call it in first“

“I'm surprised to find such a festive and fun tiki bar located in a motel. Love the atmosphere and the decor. They always treat you like family, the services is always wonderful. The drink options are fun. It's a good place to be when you want to celebrate something.“

“I know the place is under a new owner and this is my first time getting takeout from them in general. The food was very hot when I picked up. I only got orange chicken and fried rice because it's just me eating for dinner. I wish there was a dinner combo. Additionally, I would like if there were some things in the fried rice aside from a tiny bit of scrambled egg, some frozen peas and carrots with a bit of onion would do the trick. Flavor of the orange chicken is great. Making the rice more interesting would keep me coming back. I'll come again and try different things.“

“I went to Lonely Oyster with three amazing friends for dinner last night and we all had a wonderful experience. The service was impeccable, and the food was to die for! Caesar salad = delicious, oysters were perfection, the calamari was the best I've had--just the perfect amount of crisp and flavor, and the cream sauce was sooooo damn delicious I wanted to lick it out of the ramekin when I was done with the calamari! The Australian wagyu ranchera was cooked just right and oh so tender and scrumptious--just the right amount of that perfect salty flavor! Very addictive taste! The grilled mushroom skewers were so damn delicious and had a nice grilled flavor to them, and the espelette chimichurri was a divine addition. My favorite overall was the lobster mac n cheese! Overall: 10/10 and I would recommend this to upscale foodies and surf n turf newbies alike! Highly recommended to all! Go to Lonely Oyster for the amazing service, charming romantic atmosphere (the warm lighting was lovely), and the divinely delectable food, you won't be disappointed!“

They had great flavor.LA Pink salad was very good with an excellent crushed maple walnut dressing dressing.The Moules Frites, probably the best I ever had, even better than in Belgium! Ipswich Claim had a wonderful coating and excellent flavor. The Fried Brussels Sprouts outstanding flavor. The French Dover Sole with the lemon, capers, butter and parsley, amazing flavor. Lump Crab Toast bold and delicious flavor.The one dish I would pass on next time is the Tins. We had one tin with Sardine In Olive Oil With Lemon and one with Hake In Green Sauce. They just lacked flavor.Service was top notch.“

“The signature dish is the crab in sauce, which comes in medium and large sizes. medium is two crabs with two bowls of rice, and large is three crabs. Compared with other Korean restaurants, the sauce crab taste is mild, and it will not be salty enough to explode in the middle of the meal and cannot continue to eat. The crab is fresh, not fishy, and the meat is firm, not squishy. The crab meat is also very full, the crab legs are full, there is no empty shell crab. The sea urchin rice is a little smaller but the sea urchin is enough. regular sea urchins are not particularly sweet, but they are fresh and worth the price. The sea urchin Rice bowl combo will be served with steamed eggs, runny eggs and two prawns in sauce. Raw marinated salmon rice is amazing to me. The salmon is marinated just enough to be flavorful, but not overly salty. The portions are generous. You can eat two bites of each piece of salmon.“

Drinks, food, desserts, and service are all impeccable. Tonight we got to do the omakase which was so unique and a really amazing experience. “Best fish tacos on the east side. Could eat them once a week. Made to order from a taco truck so sometimes you have to wait a bit. Wish they were there later but great for an early dinner or lunch. My favorite is the recommended shrimp and cheese one and soft shell crab“

“I tried out Playita Mariscos for lunch. I've been driving by for a long time. It is owned by the Guisados people so I expected the food to be good. I ordered the Campechana Mixta. The cold tomato broth was fantastic. I really like the raw shrimp, crab and fish. The Octopus was a little tough for my taste. They have a parking lot, which on Sunset, is a plus.“

She presented us with their menu and suggested some. My wife, daughter and I had a long discussion as we wanted almost all that was there, finally we chose what we really wanted according to what we can consume and we would not want to waste any. Waiting time for prep was acceptable, Briana was always there to make sure we were comfortable and ok. Food was served, and it was done as we wanted. Very delicious food, a bit pricey but it does not matter, was compensated by the greatness of the food and the excellent and caring service. We highly tecommend this place. My recommendation: get every single flavor of grilled oyster (the true stars of the place imo) and the key lime pie, which looks unassuming but is some of the most solid pie I've had in LA. Love that they promote sustainable shellfish as well. The raw oysters were sweet and flavorful but expensive. Although I don't regret ordering the deviled eggs, I probably wouldn't get them again. This unassuming little oyster bar is tucked in a busy food hall. Service is top notch.“
