“Been coming here for a while and it's still the best sandwiches I've ever had! It took a while to make but worth it, friendly staff, and even if you don't finish it's still good if you reheat (in my opinion). 10/10 recommend and I think the hunter pence is the best.“

“Ordered online for pickup. Got the Kids PB&J for my son, Got Beef Sandwich for myself, and the Ruben Sandwich for my husband. Portion sizes were good. My son is starting to be picky but he enjoyed the PB&J and ate the whole thing. The Got Beef Sandwich was tasty. The ratio of bread, meat and veggies was perfect. Will definitely order again. My husband's favorite sandwich is the Ruben and he said this hit the spot. He said they put more sauerkraut than he expected but he didn't mind it one bit. It was also a nice surprise to find cookies in the bag. Always love a sweet treat after a meal.“

“I tried this place because Uber Eats included it with a deal. I must say I was impressed from the first sandwich. The Sourdough it soft and easy to bite, great flavor that enhances the sandwich fillings and does not overpower. The deli meats and veggies are fresh and distributed well, yes this is a thing with me, I don't like when delis squish all the ingredients in a lump. I often order the Italian sandwich. I frequent this place when I crave a Good sandwich! **Side note to Yelpers: PLEASE do NOT use Yelp as your personal soapbox. If you have an issues, first let management know about it while you are there. If you must still report your issue, post if the management offered a solution. “I’m always looking for new places to eat and found Mendocino Farms right after they opened in Walnut Creek. I think the food is very good, the workers are friendly and the restaurant is generally clean and organized. Since it opened, we have come back multiple times and will probably continue to come here as time goes.I typically drop in around 7:30pm or 8 so crowds and slow service have never been an issue. But I do think the menu is very limited, it’s always uncomfortably cold inside the building (air set at 60?) and I cannot figure out why they start putting away the drink machine an hour before closing.It really seems like the workers want to wrap up asap so they start cleaning and putting things away well before closing time.Michael DelehantyCompass Real Estate“

“the website order tool is terrible, you have to scroll to get all the way down to Walnut Creek, the basket cart doesn't remember who you are, so if you back up one click too many the cart is gone and you have to start over from scratch. and it doesn't remember anything from your past orders to make it easy to reorder. primitive backwards.it's been that way for a year so you are losing lots of business. get with it and fix it. I'll try again in 6 months.everything else is absolutely five star.“

“Fast food is somewhat scared in the city but glad to know that once in a while I can have some subway. The place was steady with one person but she managed well. She made eye contact and greeted patrons waiting. If you're picking up online orders, they are behind the counter. Some coupons are honoured here so double check that. Inside is spacious, a bit warm, and a small patio which is a nice touch. Nothing too great but efficient.“

“Always less crowded than other branches, so there is not much of a wait time. The employees are good with portions they are including, so one doesn't have to fight it. My only complaint, is that sometimes shortage of workers can make the customers wait for a good couple minutes, it's only because there is often a single employee active at the branch but other than that, everything is solid!“

“The brisket sandwich was fresh, it had a lot of flavor, and the chicken salad ? was just right. Lettuce was crisp, as well as the chicken salad sandwich ? Dijon mustard gave it the perfect ? flavor. “The sandwiches are simply awesome. I always order from their website and pick up so I don't have to wait around. I intend to try all of the sandwiches, but I keep going back to the spicy coppa and the salami so it's taking a while. You can't alter the ingredients (except to remove them) and honestly, you don't need to. The bread is always so good. Outstanding.“
