“I never knew about Velvet Taco I just happened to be walking by I had no money and I was starving. I went in and asked for something to eat. The manager was absolutely the greatest person on this earth He gave me something to eat and asked what I wanted I chose chicken and waffles. I love this restaurant and that is the only restaurant I purchase and order my food from. Thank you so much for your kindness and beautiful heart because now I am a loyal customer.“

“It’s nice. However, pricey, so get ready to drain your pockets, for three people with drinks and a minimum tip, you spend $90 and it’s a normal amount of food. There was a 22% hospitality fee. Drinks are $4-6 dollars a glass. Expect to spend plenty. It’s decent though.“

“Met friends at the outside bar! We had the famous Coconut Shrimp which were amazing! The service was outstanding! The ambiance was festive and upbeat! The young bartender was fantastic!! I'm sorry I can't remember his name. He made me a delicious Old Fashion with extra cherries! It was perfect! He made it with Knob Creek bourbon and I usually don't like Knob Creek but this was perfect! I highly recommend!“

“Absolutely fantastic experience at 52 Seasons Fort Lauderdale. My friends and I were celebrating my graduation and had a blast. The food and cocktails were amazing and the ambiance was spot on. Our server Trevor made our experience incredible and masterfully handled our 11 person table (with different people arriving at different times) with ease and made our experience incredible. He explained every one of the desserts and answered every question we had about the food. My steak and asparagus was cooked to perfection. The lamb was not too gamey and perfectly savory. 5 stars across the board for this restaurant. Reasonably priced for the ambiance and food quality.“

“On June 16, we went to Kaluz Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale to celebrate my mother’s 85th birthday. We are regulars at Kaluz to the point where we have the cell phone numbers of several employees. In a nutshell, Anthony, the manager, should not hold that position in a restaurant like Kaluz. My husband and Anthony exchanged words and Anthony’s solution to the issue was telling us, “You should not come back here. The owners do not want parties larger than five people.” My jaw dropped. I could not believe that a manager’s solution to an issue about seating us sooner, while we waited for two other people in our party, especially since my 85-year-old mother could not stand for long, was to tell us, on two separate occasions, that we should not come back. Anthony also put the entire blame on the owners of the restaurant. We go to Kaluz almost on a weekly basis, tip extremely well and have taken countless people there that have also ended up being regulars at Kaluz. No restaurant manager should EVER tell a customer, regular or not, to not come back regardless of the issue. Needless to say, we will not be going back to Kaluz as long as Anthony continues working“

“Last night dinner was amazing. Service was great and the servers were very nice and welcoming. Andres S. Went above and beyond to make sure that we had a good time. I didn’t realky like the drinks, however the food was amazing and the meats were juicy and well seasoned. That lamb chops ouhhh!!, Chef kiss. Very affordable and nice ambient. The price was quite reasonable. Thank you. Super nice buffet. They really took care of my last minute little request.“

“Local gem tucked away in small shopping plaza located on Commercial near Lauderdale By The Sea. The food and ambiance were top notch. You walk in and your immediately transported to a speakeasy inspired venue space with some of THE BEST PIZZA I’ve had the pleasure of indulging in. Better than NY pizza hands down and I’m from NYC. The edges of the crust were crispy to perfection with a beautiful focaccia like interior. Make sure you order the “Ba Wit Da Za” hands down my favorite! The bartenders and servers are just as cool as the place is. Fun, edgy, full of energy and super knowledgeable on their menu. The Chef there really knows what he’s doing. A stellar experience, cannot wait to try another pizza! Every time I go I plan to try a different one, they had so many to choose from!“

“YOLO is a vibe. We had a blast from start to finish. We began ordering drinks from the bar facing outside while waiting for our table to be ready then got seated outside shortly after. The food was well plated and tasty AF.We started with the angry fried shrimp, octopus in embers and smoked meatballs for starters. All 3 dishes were amazing. We proceeded to order different specialties from grilled trout al gaucho, the black truffle potato gratin, the Asiago salmon and the cherry smoked duroc pork for our entrees.The cocktails were very refreshing. We ordered the My Tie, Caribbean Night, different margaritas and more.YOLO is the place to be. The music was EVERYTHING and more. Thank you for making my trip wonderful.“

Service was quick, all personnel were friendly, and tables were turned quickly ~ without feeling rushed. Restaurant is bright, especially with the morning sun shining directly into it. There was a bit of a wait at the time we went, but not outrageous. Because of the blinding sun, when we asked for another table, we were quickly accommodated. Clean and readily available ~ there are no other options within walking distance. Most enjoyable.“

He booked the Hecho en Mexico 5 course meal w/ the wine experience.Mind you each entree was paired with a different tequila cocktail that was already included (I could not finish the 10 drinks) Each meal was so deliciously satisfying, I could not wait to tell my friends and family about it.
