Wasacaca is a hidden gem! The arepa is to die for. I had the chicken and shredded beef. Both exceeded my expectations! The arepa is fluffy and the meat was seasoned perfectly. Can’t wait to go back.
BIG food, good food, delicious. If you are looking at all, then go here. It's a food truck not far from the main tourist drag. We got food and then drove over to the water to eat with a view. Make sure you have lots of napkins and utensils!We had the sweet plantains with cheese and crema. OMG, over the top deliciousness. Other plantains will have trouble living up to these. Great food. I got the Cachapa and the Parillada. I really liked the Parillada. I got the chicken and the beef. The chicken was a little dry but that is probably because I didn’t eat until I got home. I live an hour’s drive from KW. The lady who served me was an absolute gem, with a beautiful smile. Great service.
