“For starters, this restaurant is legendary and still going strong for almost 40 years...and, once again, the service by our absolutely favorite server, Shanti, is unrivaled. Yes, she knows the menu! Yes she's a great server! Yes, she's efficient. Most of all, Shanti is a gem of a human being. She exudes everything one would expect from a family outing. Making everyone around her happy and comfortable. Of course, the food is sensational, as always. Thank you Shanti again for making our evening memorable. Lilly and I love you and can't wait to see you again. Great meal! Best server ever!“

“Located in the South of Fifth neighborhood, Kissaki is a trendy and atmospheric spot that offers an ambient dining experience. The place is known for its live DJ sets that create an upbeat and lively atmosphere. However, the service can be a bit chaotic and rushed, which may interfere with the overall experience. The food is average, but the martinis are excellent, making it a great spot to visit with friends for a fun night out. If you're looking for a place to enjoy drinks and music, Kissaki is definitely worth checking out, but if you're looking for a fine-dining or gourmet experience, you may want to look elsewhere.“

“A small restaurant, with a very good and chill environment inside. Both the host at the entrance and the waitress "Andreina" were so friendly. The food was very yummy and, if you’re thinking about for getting a meal outside, Moshi Moshi has the best prices for you. One of my favorites places in South Beach for getting Japanese food.“

“Faux-makase! (Fake omakase) is exactly what it is. Self proclaimed “non traditional omakase.” Also know as slow-makase. Nossa deserves a noose-a. I was recommended this restaurant by my hotel concierge. Had a horrible experience here. Should have known since they require pre-payment online via tock which actually codes as professional services and not a restaurant so they avoid the credit card fees. By the way, they will ask you to pay a ridiculous and mandatory 20% service charge plus tax after your “meal.” After payment, you will receive an email which says “The day of your reservation you will receive an email with instructions to access to the speakeasy bar.” However, I never received any email. I put nossa into google and it took me to the filthy, run down Hyatt centric hotel. I went inside and asked where the restaurant was and they took me through a stinky alley next to the hotel trash room said to knock the door. This made me extremely uncomfortable and almost decided to just leave. Little did I know the horror I was about to experience. I knocked the door and a lady asked for the password so I gave my last name on the reservation. She didn’t open and kept asking for a password. I demanded she open the door and gave my last name on the reservation. She said I should have received instructions on a paper from another restaurant on the other side of the street which I was not informed of. She said I was late and that they already started so she showed me to my seat. The room felt like a sewer with too many people crammed around a dirty scratched up bar. I was in group 11 which means there were at least 20 guests there. The music was horrendous and unbearable. The ambiance was very creepy. The staff smelled really bad. I was offered a welcome drink which I opted for a sparking water which was not sparking at all as it was flat without bubbles so they brought me a bottle instead. They didn’t ask about any allergies and handed me the first course which I had to spit out because it contained alcohol which I don’t drink. The chef kept inaudibly shouting out the descriptions of the dishes for each course towards different corners of the room in an attempt for everyone to hear but you only hear and understand the words which were said in your direction. All the ingredients were old and not fresh. The food did not taste good. The portions were tiny so don’t think you’ll be full when you leave here by any means. The place is extremely unsanitary. The chef even wipes your plates using the same towel as the previous groups one after another. I was absolutely disgusted. Finally the last course came and again I was served alcohol without being told what it was. Luckily the chef caught it before I could drink it and replaced it with iced tea. I asked if we’re were finished and she said yes. The experience was a complete waste of time so we were happy to walk out and leave. The lady chased us on our way out and said there was an additional payment to be made for gratuity and tax. I asked if this was mandatory and she answered yes. Mind you this was never communicated before. She also said she didn’t have a wireless credit card machine so I gave her my physical card to go swipe and come back. The chef came out, handed me my receipt and credit card then asked: “Is there a reason why you’re unhappy.” I answered: Yes, I didn’t enjoy the experience. He shrugged his shoulders and replied: “I’m sorry but unfortunately not everybody does, I guess” I was shocked and just stormed out. Exit left next to the trash room, literally.“

“A heads up first: if you are planning on coming here, make sure you arrive before it opens up or when it opens up. I'm not sure how far in advance they do this but, you cannot make reservations. You have to write your name down on the list. My girlfriend and I waited about 2 hours to eat. But it was absolutely worth it. So, on to the main review! My girlfriend and I love sushi. It's one of our favorite things to eat. So we found this place on Instagram and decided to give it a go. The interior is extremely cool. The staff, ran by this phenomenal Japanese lady, is always on point and communicating with each other. It's like a well oiled machine the way they talk to each other about everything they're currently doing. Whenever somebody walked in they were greeted with a nice loud "Irasshaimase", and whenever they left they were bid farewell with an equally loud "Arigatougozaimasu!" The head lady knew all the locals name and made me and my girlfriend pretty jealous as we laughed and said we want to be her friend as well. Finally, we sat down and immediately got to eating. Everything was fresh. We watched the chef cutting and preparing all the sushi. We watched as he examined every cut of fish that came before him and expertly cut it and prepared it. It was a great experience to watch a master at work. We also ordered 2 sides of edamame and pork gyoza. They were fantastic! Finally we ordered the Bluefin Albacore. Specifically the Harakami section. Wow. You could taste the ocean. The Bluefin was truly a standout and I would love to eat even more! Overall, this place will become a regular of ours. Not just for the great food, but the vibes were immaculate. Until next time folks! Enjoy the meal!!!“

“This newish neighborhood gem on the west side of South Beach serves the freshest, most delectable sushi I’ve had in 10 years on the beach. My neighbors have been praising it, and my husband and I tried it out tonight and they are right! Bondi has a large sushi bar inside and several shaded tables outside on the spacious sidewalk area. We were especially impressed by the creamy scallops nigiri with pink salt, the dark red Chu toro and the striped jack. But we also loved the lobster yuzu and spicy tuna handrolls — the crispy seaweed wrapping was surprisingly delicious — and the lobster/yuzu and spicy tuna nigiri. At the end the chefs gave us complementary salmon tartare on Japanese milk bread, something new and yummy. Happy hour is 3-6 so if you start dinner early you can save with $5 sake and $8 cocktails, plus $5 handrolls. Hats off to this friendly, delicious eatery.Parking: You park along West Ave and the side streets. A parking garage is at 10th and West.“

“Tasty foodDecent quick serviceCleanliness of staff and kitchen could be betterBecause there kitchen faces the parking lot you are prevy to a lot i.e kitchen staff smoking throwing out trash etc. Then getting back on line to prepare meals w/out washing there hands.I did let staff know what I witnessed and I was disregard and told they don't so that although I just witnessed it prior to entering the establishment. I've been eating here for years and never gotten sick however cleanliness is next to godliness. Your advised“
“We could not get a Friday or Saturday, so we settled for a Sunday reservation. That might have been the best choice we made. I say this because you can enjoy the beauty and luxury without being too pretentious. From the valet to the two front door concierges, everyone was pleasant. Upon arriving at the hostess desk, we were met by Marilyn and two other women who were also very pleasant. No waiting; we were escorted right to our table. And the place is beautiful, maybe more than anything else on the beach. Antoine, our server, was great and very attentive. He also had a partner clearing tables and filling water glasses. I must say you didn't need to look for anything or anyone. The food was amazing, from my wife's scallops to my 16-oz boneless ribeye. We look forward to getting reservations on a Saturday and inviting a few friends so they can experience this amazing place.“

“Great meal in a great space with an excellent server Amazing service from an exceptional server, Elena. She was great with my allergies and also so thoughtful with my mother-in-law. Just a great server and very thoughtful person. Plus, we really enjoyed the food and the decor is very Instagrammable. The short ribs were my favorite dish but we all enjoyed everything. I also like the mushroom gyoza and the caramel dessert.“

“My recent meal at Queen was a mixed bag. While there were aspects I enjoyed, there were also areas that could use improvement.Let's start with the positives. The food was generally tasty, with some dishes standing out more than others. I appreciated the variety on the menu, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that no one left hungry. On the downside, the service was a bit slow and inattentive at times. It took longer than expected to be seated, and once seated, it took a while for our orders to be taken and for the food to arrive. Additionally, the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and could benefit from better organization during busy periods.Furthermore, while the ambiance was pleasant, it lacked that extra something to make it truly memorable. Some updates to the décor and lighting could enhance the overall dining experience. In conclusion, Queen offers decent food in a relaxed atmosphere, but there's room for improvement in terms of service efficiency and ambiance to make it a standout dining destination.“
“We arrived almost at closing. We were the only table there I think. The server was friendly, okay, nothing that would leave an impression. It was fairly quiet because there was no one else around. Even though we sat outside. We had the honey shrimp and salmon tartare for appetizer, then the volcano and crunchy tuna rolls for entree. All was deliciousz“

“This is by far my favorite restaurant in Miami. The staff is incredibly attentive (I dropped my chopsticks and they came with an extra set before I could even pick them up, they held doors open and were so kind). Besides that the food was so yummy, and they made sure to adhere to the restrictions of my gluten free siblings. The ambience is stunning with outside seating and not too much noise. The manager came by to our table and made sure we were enjoying the dinner. Overall incredible experience.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“

“What a great experience! Right in South Miami! Our waitress, Karen, was amazing! Very attentive and extremely helpful with the menu and drinks. She recommended the Omakase Signature to share. It comes with a variety of sushi. Compliments to the chef, it was exactly what we wanted and needed. 100% recommend coming down and seeing Karen and enjoying the delicious food and atmosphere!“

“Great place. I ordered a total of 18 pieces and spent 15usd. Very cheap considering how fresh the product is and how expensive the area is. The atmosphere is not Miami Beach chic, but if you are more hungry than pretentious it is very good.“

“I Tried the Volcano Roll and the Miami Heat Roll and it was really good! I like the seafood on top of the Volcano Roll. It is a baked creamy dynamite (scallop, mayo and masago) and avocado on top, kanikama and cream cheese too! Very tasty and creamy! The Miami Heat Roll have a krab salad, cream cheese, shrimp tempura, salmon, avocado and spicy mayo on top. This is good as well. The Tuna Jalapeno Roll, not that much.“
