“Did a self guided pizza tour of Chicago last week. 12 spots in 3 days and Pequod’s lived up to the hype. Hands down the best pizza in Chicago. Thick fluffy crust, sweet but spicy sauce, plenty of cheese, and the pepperoni seemed to be hand cut for our pizza. If you like incredible pizza with the hole in the wall feel, this is the place. The spot on Clayborn is the perfect pizza spot. Sit at the bar, sit at a table, overall staff was awesome, and the Pizza is incredible!Thanks Pequod’s!“

Not only is it reasonably priced, but the fun and inventive flavors, like cacio e pepper, added an exciting twist we hadn't tried before. The leftover slices even made for a perfect Sunday breakfast. “I've been to the other Etta location in river north (recently closed) but this was my first time at the Bucktown location. I like this one a lot better! The space has more character and sitting on the rooftop patio was so nice on a beautiful Saturday! We came for lunch around 1 and there was plenty of seating. They were still serving their brunch menu which has a range of brunch plates and their pizzas. We split 2 pizzas between 3 of us and it was the perfect filling amount! we got the Margherita and the wild mushroom and both were delicious, though we all liked the Margherita better. The sauce was so fresh and flavorful! I'd like to come back and try their pastas, as I enjoyed the brunch when I went to the other location previously. Definitely can't go wrong with Etta!“

“One of the better Deep dish places in town. If you want to try it and see if you like it, this is one of the few places that does it by the slice. They also have a sandwich shop included along with a salad bar and a smoothie operation too. All in all it's a good neighborhood place. This is not a destination place pizza IMHO. But if you are in the wicker park bucktown area, and want Deep dish, here's a good option, as most pizza places in this hood are the thin crust variety.ETA: No longer offering slices, bummer ?. And for the owner's reply: being endorsed by the noted hack, Steve Dolinsky, is not a mark of honor you seem to think! Still remains a good neighborhood deep dish pizzeria.“

“This place is a good one! We stopped here for dinner before the Bulls game and enjoyed our time here. We ordered bruschetta as an appetizer and then the veggie and cheese pizza. Everything was super tasty and everything came out pretty quickly. The free shuttle to the United center was the icing on top. Can't wait to come back and enjoy the patio in the summer!“

“This pizza pie is so very delicious. Imagine good dough rolled out thin topped by tangy sauce and thin coating of cheese with flavorful Italian sausage in hand formed balls. I haven’t been excited by a pizzeria near me for quite some time. Did I mention chewy crust. I also tried their deep fried cauliflower with garlic Ali oil. Golden crisp heads of cauliflower served with your choice of sauce. My next adventure I will try the Cesar salad and another flavor of pizza ... can’t wait. Love me some Logan Square pizza..“

His name was Reuben and was the kindest, funny and great person I have had the experience of talking to. He sold us on so many great things and we were not disappointed, we came to experience the best on the menu and he helped pick every one.“

“We had high expectations since all the reviews we’d read had been very positive. We were not disappointed. The apple salad was indeed huge and delicious and the tavern style pizza was perfect. Super thin and crispy and the sausage was glorious, not greasy at all and full of fennel seed flavor. Josh(one of the owners)took our order and chatted with us. He was extremely welcoming and kind. Even brought us glasses for the bottle of wine we brought with us. We also tried the Superman ice cream, which I hadn’t heard of before, that too is made in house and was delicious. There are 3 booths that fit 4 for seating and also just enough room for ordering at the counter and for people waiting for takeout and delivery orders. We went on Friday and were able to grab a table when we arrived around 5:30. Within 30-45 minutes, the other tables were occupied as well. We dined in since we wanted to try the pizza super fresh and hot. Wonderful experience and We’re looking forward to going again. Don’t miss out on this amazing pizza.“

“It felt like this restaurant answered all my prayers when we found it. Mac n Cheese pizza here is NOT overrated just get it. Their tomato and feta pizza was amazing too. The veggie medley/supreme was meh. Service was super quick and nice too. Just wish they had signs for the pizza so I can say their names instead of asking for “that one” or describing the toppings to the cashier when they asked me which ones I got.“

Initially I was just hoping this pizzeria sold individual slices but they only offer personal sized pizzas ? which can easily feed two people.I chose their least expensive one the marinara which is mostly fresh tomato ? sauce, some garlic and just a tiny amount of parmesan cheese. I only had an appetite for two gracious slices and the rest I will have for dinner later this evening.The staff here was very nice. It was just one man baking the freshly made pizza pies and ringing everyone up then placing it to your table. I will definitely come back here to enjoy their pizza ? happy hour.“

“My friend claims that Zazas pizzeria is the best. So, we had to give it a try. When you see it from the outside it just looks like any other pizza spot. My friend and I order two pies and they were really good you could tase how much effort the pie makers took to make the pizza. And the service here was really good considering the size of the pizza joint. I will say give zazas a try for a tasty pizza!“

“I've been to this location twice, and neither time has disappointed. Delicious pizza with excellent crust, the perfect amount of toppings and lots of fun flavor varieties. Smaller slices are well priced, but it gets much more expensive with more pizza. I wish there were more pizza places like this. Great for diabetics since their crusts are more whole grain/organic.Dietary restrictions: Crusts are more whole grain than most. Good for Diabetics.“
