“The food was absolutely delicious. Went with the green shakshuka and it was tremendous, as was the hummus and the house bacon. Our server was also an absolute gem of a human and took excellent care of us. A bit pricey but worth it. Would definitely recommend.“
“We booked a brewery tour and Johnny was our guide. Me and my family had a wonderful experience, Johnny was knowledgeable, personable & hilarious. This tour blew my expectations out of the water. Very much worth your time and money. I have a lot of respect after learning about one of Chicago’s greatest breweries. Would book again!!“

“Love Kasama! I’ve been back each time I visit the city and the breakfast is banging. I know the sandwich + hash-brown is iconic and a must try but their other food is equally as delicious. Would highly recommend ordering online to skip the line if you don’t plan to eat inside.“

“Did a self guided pizza tour of Chicago last week. 12 spots in 3 days and Pequod’s lived up to the hype. Hands down the best pizza in Chicago. Thick fluffy crust, sweet but spicy sauce, plenty of cheese, and the pepperoni seemed to be hand cut for our pizza. If you like incredible pizza with the hole in the wall feel, this is the place. The spot on Clayborn is the perfect pizza spot. Sit at the bar, sit at a table, overall staff was awesome, and the Pizza is incredible! Thanks Pequod’s!“

“From the moment we stepped into Munno Pizzeria and Bistro, we were greeted with a warmth that only foreshadowed the delightful evening ahead. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between elegance and comfort, making it an ideal setting for any occasion. Each dish we ordered was a testament to the chef’s mastery over Italian cuisine, blending traditional flavors with a modern twist that left us savoring every bite. The pizza, with its perfectly charred crust and innovative toppings, was a highlight, while the pasta dishes were reminiscent of a culinary journey through Italy. What truly sets Munno apart, however, is the impeccable service. The staff’s attention to detail and genuine care for the dining experience made us feel truly special. Our dinner at Munno Pizzeria and Bistro wasn’t just a meal; it was a memorable dining experience that we’re already looking forward to repeating. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, missing out on this Michelin-starred gem would be a mistake. Bravo to the Munno team for exceeding our expectations!“
“Bartender was very professional and kind. Seating very comfortable. There’s a good din in here, comfortable noise level where seats will be filled but you can hear conversations around your table clear as a bell. Very clean. Cozy. Great canned seltzer.“

“2nd time coming here. Food is phenomenal. Never had chicken with honey butter or pimento cheese with fries. When you put the butter on the chicken, the melted butter, the crispy texture, and the juices of the chicken just melts in your mouth. As far as the pimento cheese goes, the sauce has a bit of a tomato hint blending in with the cheese when you have it with the fries.“

“WHAT? How can you cook chicken like this? Soooo tender and juicy. I ordered salad and it's a salad nothing impressive and my kids ordered fried seafood which I never liked but my husband ordered chicken sandwich and it's so AMAZING. It's a little bit spicy for me but they do have nonspicy choice. Really, really amazing“
“Great vibes, incredible staff! Beautiful patio space and free WiFi - I love finishing up my work notes for the day while having a cocktail here. My favorite night is Mario Kart night on the last Wednesday of every month. Truly a gem of Logan Square!Wheelchair accessibility: ADA accessible building and bathrooms.“

“Parsons is my absolute favorite place to go in the summer to sit outside with the dog, have some great frozen drinks and some yummy food. Sitting outside is like a huge barbecue, the awkward family reunion type. Super chill vibe, lots of people just having a good time and enjoying the sun. The fried chicken sandwich, fish sandwich, and hush puppies are amazing. If you have better restraint than I do and can eat your food slowly like a normal human being, he won’t leave feeling like you need a nap. Highly recommend the hush puppies she just wishes he could sit on the bench and drool closer to us“

“i am so grateful for such a wonderful evening at lula cafe! i went with a friend last night and the service, the food, and the atmosphere truly were all five stars. the staff were just so lovely, it felt as if i'd been coming for years and was a cherished regular. we started with the baked feta and it actually came with more than enough delicious sourdough to enjoy it with. you ever notice how a lot of places will give you something delicious to dip, but you run out of something to eat it with? haha clearly lula cafe wants you to just eat and have fun - they take care of the rest. my main was delicious and the ricotta ice cream with chocolate and cherries? i could have eaten a litre. thanks again!!“

“This place is the coolest bar I have been to in a long time, hip and fun but not pretentious. They paid attention to every detail when building and designing. The white marbel bar has clean lines and looks fresh. All of the hardware finishes look sharp and clean. The patio is large and inviting with a fire place and plenty of tables to sit at. The drink menu is creative and refreshing and the staff is kind and welcoming. I cannot say enough good things about this gem of a bar. I am excited to hang out this fall on the patio by the fireplace with good drink in My hand.“

“Small interior, but very nice outdoor patio space to eat at. Started with the chicken pot pie. Nice crispy crust and a great balance of peas, carrots, and chicken. Great flavors but the chicken was a little overcooked messing with the overall texture of the pie filling. The reason I came was to try a sweet pie and ended up getting the chocolate pud’n. The pudding and cocoa whipped cream had perfect consistencies with the pudding being slightly thicker. Dark chocolate curls on top being a nice touch and everything being encompassed by the crust which reminded me of brownie brittle. The slice was not overly sweet but gave me all the chocolate flavor I needed. Can’t wait to come back and try some of their other sweet pies as well the mushroom pot pie.“

“First time trying this restaurant that I found by doing some online research. We were blown away. Sat at the bar with Eric who made the entire experience so enjoyable. His knowledge of the menu and cocktails were almost as impressive as his welcoming personality. The food was equally impressive. Prepared perfectly and served timely. We will definitely be back!“

“New menu time again at our favorite Chicago restaurant. Appetizers we chose were the new Jumbo Buffalo Shrimp on top of their homemade coleslaw. Amazing. So lightly breaded, it was all shrimp, yet the flavor was soaked all the way in without needing all that breading. Loved it! We also loved the lobster topped deviled eggs. I had entree of New York strip salad, Jen had the tuna steak salad and we split the warm carrot cake with candied nuts on top for dessert. New menu but awesome as usual!“

“Cozy brewery & distillery nestled in a neighborhood and against the train tracks & highway.Great selection of unique beers and cocktails made from in house spirits. Some of the beers you can find in stores, others are unique to the location. They do still do scheduled beer releases you may only be able to get on location. You can bring in food, but there's also a selection of pizza that is pretty good.Only gripe would be that it was a bit difficult to find, if you hug the road that goes against the tracks its very narrow and basically an alley. Part of the charm though, makes the place feel like it's hidden.“

“Original cocktails in an original setting. Very good service, very good drinks that you won't find everywhere (their own touch on the classics too), good ingredients and bottles behind the bar. Pick your atmosphere: you can sit a the counter where it's more like a speakeasy, or at a table in the bustling bar, or in the lobby area of the apartment building where it's more like a quieter lounge. My favorite bar in uptown.“

“Rejoice! The place for some great Chinese teas had arrived near you! Yes, it does share the fad with the Taiwan born boba drinks. But our eye was caught by the nice website with images of nice teacups and ambiance. Only 23 miles away from home we discovered that the trip in a hot and still pandemic day was totally worth it. In few words owner, Shaolong picked the teaist vibes in us and offered us a great real experience of sharing a favorite tea - he introduced us to the wonders of Zhang Ping Shui Xian (漳平水仙). Unlike the real "black tea", the Pu-erh, this one also comes in bricks, yet is a type of oolong with an amazing floral scent. We were honored with 4 different samples which we are currently slowly and thoroughly testing (3 pics). And yes, the fermentation levels are different - some definitely will give you a great oolong taste, but others are just a unique elixir on its own. But back to the house itself. I see and hope for great unrolling potential. This could become a place for tea lovers and teaists in training. Why not theme days, classes, shared experiences, a club? We would join. The 23 miles are a drive, but there isn't much of a real tea-drinking place in our Chicagoland (unlike smaller cities in North America like Portland and Montreal). However, Living Water Tea House is a great promise and it totally won our full support! Keep the cups warm!“

“Tonight, the Wife and I asked for a table of 4, saw multiple tables open. Host replied with "Looks like we're not going to have table free for the rest of the night." Our 2 friends walked in about 5 minutes after us for a table, Host proceeds to not automatically deny them and asks the servers. Servers apparently had a problem with having another table until another server came worked it out. Finally, Wife and I walk back in to join our friends and overhear 2 servers discussing with the host about not seating anyone after 9pm (they close at midnight btw) Great to know that you wanting to close early is more important than actually doing your jobs and making easy money (we only got drinks and 2 apps) Pathetic, will not come back. “Some of the best grilled seafood in the city and that's saying something. Top 2 in the city along with Dees" IMO. Very seasoned without being salty. My guess is garlic. Crabs are my go-to. The corn, potatoes, and turkey necks are all tasty too.“

“This is the most amazing cocktail bar I’ve ever been to and it’s not even close. The size of the bar is perfectly intimate; the music selection is perfectly chill; the neighborhood vibe isn’t off putting to strangers (I’m from San Francisco) and very welcoming overall; the decor is beautiful, not too posh but just enough that you know you’re in an establishment that takes what they do seriously. Last but not least, Britt (bartender) was amazingly talented, knowledgeable, passionate and skilled at cocktail making. She makes a great cocktail and will educate you if you let her, making your experience all the better since you learn how to appreciate her craft more. Like I said, best cocktail bar I’ve ever been to and it’s not even close.“

The setting was quaint and intimate. We were greeted by the knowledgeable beverage director Nick. He brought a taste of a nice Bordeaux as a welcome gesture which we appreciated. We gravitated toward an Italian bottle and had the frites. The aioli was pleasantly citus forward.Thank you for the hospitality!“

“This pizza pie is so very delicious. Imagine good dough rolled out thin topped by tangy sauce and thin coating of cheese with flavorful Italian sausage in hand formed balls. I haven’t been excited by a pizzeria near me for quite some time. Did I mention chewy crust. I also tried their deep fried cauliflower with garlic Ali oil. Golden crisp heads of cauliflower served with your choice of sauce. My next adventure I will try the Cesar salad and another flavor of pizza ... can’t wait. Love me some Logan Square pizza..“
