“I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and had enough left over for another. Service and food were great. Atmosphere is average. I debated about my dessert but opted for the berry cake which also was delicious. I had breaded pork tenderloin, sweet/sour sauerkraut and potato dumplings, soup plus the berry cake dessert. (Soup was not pictured since I already had eaten it). All was DELICIOUS I'm not a bread person except for fresh bread. The rye bread was so good that I hard time to stop eating it.“

“Pam catered a tea party baby shower for us for 35 guests. The food was delivered on time and it was absolutely delicious. Every guest raved about everything -- tea sandwiches, scones, pastries. We highly recommend doing a tea party bridal or baby shower and letting Pinecone Cottage cater it.“

“Came in on Thursday lunch and sat at the bar. Stephanie the lovely bartender, was friendly , polite , attentive , and gorgeous. She had a great personality and attitude. I ordered a bacon , mushroom, and Swiss burger (off menu) and she was more than happy to accommodate me. Turkey chili was fabulous and so was my Bloody Mary. Stephanie was a true professional! “04/02/24 - What an awesome add to the neighborhood. Teriyaki Madness is in the mall next to The Smash burger on Foster Ave. It's less than 1/2 mile from my house. I actually sampled their chicken teriyaki @ a Yelp event up in Lake Bluff @ Bernie's Book Bank. Teriyaki Madness has a store up in Gurnee, IL The teriyaki comes in 3 different sizes, Junior, regular or large. I ordered the regular sized chicken teriyaki bowl & it was more than enough for me as I had a little bit of left overs to take home. They have different options like regular or spicy chicken, chicken breast teriyaki, steak teriyaki, salmon teriyaki, tofu teriyaki & chicken katsu. Wry good seasoning w Great options. They also have appetizers like edamame, egg rolls, chicken potstickers & crab Rangoon. I was very pleasantly surprised w/the grilled chicken teriyaki served over brown rice w/veggies like cabbage & broccoli. I really enjoyed my meal & scarfed it down. I will definitely be back to try some of their other items like the steak teriyaki or chicken katsu.“

“Always a great experience here. It can get crowded on the weekends but I never have waited a long time to sit or for service. The food is very good! They have a lot of different options including fun shakes! My favorite is the southwest omelet! I loved it as a skillet and tried is as an omelet and fell in love! They have lots of fun pancake options as well. Good meal options with lots to offer making it not that expensive!“

“I stopped by BlackBerry market on yesterday and the atmosphere was busy but flowed smoothly. The smell of coffee was invigorating and I got the drip coffee , a chocolate chip cookie, iced peppermint coffee and a raspberry lemon muffin!! Service was smooth and effective, the breakfast items were yummy and fresh!! The coffee of the coffee!! Strong yet tranquil!! Fresh drip is self serve!! Loved that! The iced peppermint coffee was just what I needed !! Let me say this.. after breakfast and coffee.. I came home cooked a full dinner and washed clothing and was done before 1pm! lol energy!!!! It all started a few months ago of seeing this business online ...I could not manage to get the time right I was too late or to early or it was closed....But finally the stars ALIGNED and on Saturday I pulled up at 10:30am waiting for the 11am opening...to buy six amazing, delicious and delightful moo-moo cheesecakes (2 keylimes 3 pecan delight and 1 strawberry)...a bowl of chili and a candle ..!I met one of the owners who went above and beyond in customer service, she was kind, patient and efficient she didn't let me wait for the chili ,which I appreciated.The strawberry was the tester cheesecake which both my mother and daughter had a sample of we all loved and enjoyed this cheesecake especially my self which I put the remaining into the freezer to get cold quick ( best decision) to eat in the dark sitting at the kitchen table savoring the freshness the sweet tartness of the strawberries the sweet smoothness of the cheesecake the buttery graham crust slightly sweet whipped cream omg...I will be coming back for more soon..another reason why to support this amazing business is they help alot and give back to the community, they offer their shop for events."There the Cheesecake People".“

“Discovered this place while biking to catch the BNSF back to Chicago. Usually would bike past to hop on the train at Western Springs or LaGrange Road. But one day I stopped short and popped in here. Really impressed by the selection of beer, wine, and whiskey. Before the Derby, they had three different bottles of Blanton's Bourbon. I asked for a smell (it's not Jimmy John's, I know) and they obliged me without so much as a blink of the eye. Quite an impressive wine selection. They are serious about their libations and happy to share their knowledge. I really like this place. Good vibe and great drinks. Check it out. Not sure why some clown gave it two stars. “we had tofu pad thai and tofu green curry noodles and they were both amazing. i love thai food and have been to at least 10 diff thai places in different states too, but this is hands down in my top three favorites. the tofu in my pad thai was cooked to perfection, crispy but not too much and the portions were great. we loved the thai tea from here too, their style was more creamy than i’ve had at other places (or how i make it myself) but it was tasty and makes me want to make it like that at home :) great service too everyone was nice and it was great thank you“

“Let me start off this review by stating that i do not write reviews, never have and will not start to, BUTT this cafe is so underrated! I need everyone to understand how good their food and drinks are. Now just to clarify I know nothing about protein or calories but I do know a little something about GOOD FOOD. Ive been going to this location for over a year now and have had the opportunity to try their different menu items, Ive also had the pleasure to get to know one of their managers, Taylor. A very lovely woman, comfortable aura and I always have pleasant conversations with her. Moving on to their food and drinks, the first thing Ive ever tried was a regular chicken panini and my lord that first bite was immaculate. The way they stacked all the ingredients and panini pressed the sandwich bread makes eating it so much fun. ALSO they add apples...APPLESSS and guess what? its so fricking good, something about the sweet crisp taste of apple and the savory/salty meats and spice goes so well together. ugh 10/10. The next thing I got to try was their arroz caldo soup. It transported me back to 8 years old and it was one of those very unforgiving cold days, just coming back from school, opening the front door to the smell of your grandparent's or parent's caldo de res (latinos know) proceeding to have 2 and half bowls then knocking out. Yeah 9/10 good soup. Next was smoothies and Im not going into detail on the smoothies, they were very delicious and filled me up quite right, they were good size for the price and all are very different. The ones Ive tried were the power monkey (my favorite ughhh so good) the twenty 5 thirty 2 (very filling) and the super mario (somehow feels like im drinking some type of dessert and i love that). lovee 9.5/10. The last items Ive tried were the detox shots and oh boy.. Ive tried the good cocktail and the ginger shot. I didn't know that my bowels had the power to go into overdrive like that but they did. These shots for sure do what they claim to do and I love that I get exactly what I pay for. 9/10 but making sure to plan the day accordingly. The cafe is very chill and decorated nicely, clean and order to pickup time is quick (unless busy but dont be a douchebag and rush a masterpiece) I always go with my usual and its always so consistently delicious. Like I said earlier managers/employees are very welcoming and polite, even the boss will come and have a conversation with you and he is very nice and has jokes (funny guy over here). They also have another location in Wicker Park and it is also very nice, slightly bigger so there is more seating and has the same quality of food and drinks. And they do have more menu items so take a look. overall 9.5/10“

“Sweet Ali's is amazing from the baked goods themselves to the service! There was a mix up with my order on their end and they rectified it by driving out the correct ones to me in the same day since I needed them for Easter. The customer service is amazing!!! I will recommend them over and over! (The Key lime pie and Tiramisu are both so delicious! My dad said the eggplant Parmesan was delicious.) So happy they exist for us gluten free peeps! (Non-gf people love their goods as well!). Have to add... they even gave us beautiful, delicious cupcakes when they delivered the quiches!“

“So I was literally at work like a normal day (service porter) and I had to drop off the owner to zoup. I had no intention in getting food but he offered me a free meal. “This is for our event at the Moretti's Events room: Hailey (event coordinator) communicated so well throughout planning the event for my husbands graduation/birthday party. The day of the event, she was so helpful when it came to making sure I had everything I needed to set up. “Courageous Bakery and Cafe has some solid breakfast and pastry choices. My husband is a huge sucker for breakfast burritos and I am a huge fan of buttery, flakey biscuits. Courageous has both so it's a win-win for us! Besides breakfast, we would typically order croissants, cupcakes, and/or 4 inch birthday cake to go. None of those have disappointed us. I had been missing chicken teriyaki and fried rice for a long time and was so happy when I found out that TM offers them gluten free. I come here way too much (a few times a week) and feel totally safe with their gluten free options as they have never made me sick in any way.
