“Met up with friends in July 2023 for brunch while visiting Nashville. Old haunted hotel with really fine restaurant, pretty much the only major building left in Story. Hubby being disabled, I called beforehand to verify accessibility. Parking was a short distance away in a gravel lot - not the easiest to traverse with a scooter. A wheelchair ramp is available on the far side of the hotel, which was doable, but maneuvering hubby's scooter took some doing as the halls are quite narrow. We were seated promptly (reservations strongly recommended!) & our server was on top of things. Food was great, company even better! There's a small shop at the entrance where they sell apple butter & other goods. (Highly recommend the apple butter!) Before leaving, my friend & I walked back to the gardens, passing the outdoor lounge & espying the horses "parked" nearby. Turns out Story abuts Brown County State Park & their horseman trail. Some unique art pieces seen on our meander, too. Would visit again if in the area.“
