“I walked into a clean friendly environment. I ordered food for the family and had a discussion with the owner. The staff was really friendly and nice as well. I watched as they cooked our food and can say they practice very safe food handling practices. When I got home we all opened our subs and began eating them. I ordered the chicken cheesesteak, let me tell you the chicken was not fried out like I have experienced with other food places and the roll was just right. The son ordered a cheesesteak and he enjoyed his as well and said this is the place to continue ordering from. So if your looking for good tasting food with a splash of friendliness and cleanliness, stop by Ty’s Place you won’t be disappointed!“

“I live near Catonsville where there is a large Korean influence shopping area. I have tried many of the Korean dishes but I drive over 40 miles to Anne Arundel county to get the best. And I make the drive frequently. Every effort is made by the staff to know everyone personally. Good service, great food...authentic.The BEST Kimchi!“

“I have been coming here since I was a kid. Truly a staple in the community. The food has always been consistent. The chicken box is a classic. Their cheesesteak is good also. The half n half is way too sweet though. But I love this carry out. Nostalgic for sure. And they will not make your food until you show up (assuming they have experienced many people not picking up orders).“

“The food was good. They had background music playing extremely loud and the lady working the counter spoke very softly so it was hard to hear her questions. The music was so loud we could not even talk while we ate our lunch. As other people came in we noticed they were also asking for things to be repeated a few times. Another customer, around 25 yrs old commented to us that the music was too loud.Parking: The parking lot is narrow and has constant traffic, making it difficult to get in and out.“

The ambiance is for carry out but also has space to sit and eat. I went around 1pm and there was a line but the service moved efficiently.“

“Delivery was 30 minutes late however the food quality more than made up for it. This was one of the best cheese steaks I’ve had in quite some time. Also the fries with gravy were delicious. Gravy was so good. Will definitely be eating here again soon.“
