“First time visit for a family of 4, so we sampled a lot and thoroughly enjoyed everything. The favorites were the buffalo wings (extra crispy), chicken strips, chicken and rice, and hush puppies. The staff was extremely pleasant. The seating is limited to 10, but most people were ordering takeout, so we happily enjoyed our meal there!“

“This is one of my go to spots on any given week! My most ordered dish is probably the fried Cajun catfish with the dirty rice and a side of broccoli! Such a yummy dinner/ lunch! Their wings are so good! (Crispy just how I like them) I even enjoy their hush puppies, fries and cheesesteaks. The service is always friendly and delivery always prompt! Happy to be neighbors!“

“Ordered to go and the food came pretty hot and sauced and I got all the sauces on the side even tho I didn't ask for it which is nice. The rice and chicken were good veggies were crisp red sauce is hot green was like a mild sauce and the white sauce I feel like is good but not as good as some other white halal sauces I've had. I would def try its affordable healthy quick and large portions.“

“Visited this place after searching for an old jerry's style restaurant for years in VA. I ordered in person, finding well mannered staff and a clean place to include the bathroom so very nice. Overall it was a great experience. I hadn't had a good white cheese pizza in years so I bought an extra to snack on...but it did make my stomach hurt but I think it's a getting older thing..lol. Anyways, a big step up over most places or mall quality steak n cheese places. Worth a try if in the area. I used to eat at my local jerry's ever week and this Jeffrey's is far better in quality overall. It's like mcdowells vs mcdonalds...coming to America reference...lol. except real good stuff here“

“Highly recommend!! I travel 25 miles to come here! Delicious cheesesteaks, cold cut subs & the best pizza (the square one) and the prices are reasonable. The staff is very friendly & knowledgeable. The place is a little old fashioned on the inside with the furnishings but it’s clean. They even have a good sized parking lot!“

“I love a good ole Charlie's steak and cheese close to my house . The steakum is pretty well seasoned. The chicken & cheese is pretty good as well as the flavorful wings. Always hot and fresh. The strawberry lemonade it bomb ! The staff is friendly and professional. I hate the ppl hounding for money outside everytime I go but overall pretty good place.“

“The bang bang broccoli is the best I've ever had!! Can't wait to go back since it's sooo good!! The French toast was also great but not for the price. If you're expecting a restaurant I'd say it's a food hall and have to get serviced by ordering on a QR code at a table! It didn't impact my experience but thought this was it's own spot, it's more of a ghost kitchen. Regardless the staff and atmosphere was great, quiet, and had live music on a Sunday morning.“

“While touring DC, my cousin had a cheesesteak craving, and this place was within walking distance. It was around 3 PM on a Wednesday, and there was no one else inside. They had a lunch special - buy one sandwich, get one free. Unsure if it's worth it at full price, but it felt like a steal at half price. The Girard Ave and Classic Cheesesteak were filling and tasted like high-quality sandwiches. We also tried the Love Park Salad, which had an excess of mozzarella cheese but was otherwise quite good.“

“I got the bacon cheeseburger and my husband got a chicken sandwich. We shared a medium fry. Sandwiches were amazing! I can’t race enough about them. The burger especially for me!(It was not full of grease and messy like you find at the place this is inspired from) For me the fries are just ok, but I like them to be extra crunchy which I get is hard to do with natural cut fries so I’m not going to down them for that! Service was excellent. Staff was beyond friendly and food came out super hot and fresh! I can’t wait to come back to DC to visit here again!“
