“Don’t underestimate the greatness of this place based on its humble location and signage. Excellent food made with simple, authentic ingredients. It feels like you are eating your grandmother’s food in Greece. One of the tastiest meals I have had in the DMV. I particularly enjoyed the mezze, like grilled octopus, giant white beans (gigantes) and tzatziki. Must return soon to work my way through more the of the menu. Service was also super warm and friendly. Recommend!“

“What a great little place. Three of us had different dishes and all were served very quickly and were delicious. The carbonara was among the best I've had and I try them all over the country and in Europe. The wait staff all seemed attentive and our waiter was helpful and professional. The only disappointment was the bread (served with oil) which was soft and crumbly rather than a good Italian type bread for dipping.Make it a place you try if you're in the area.“

“Beautiful garden and entrance. Beware, steps can be a little daunting. Our server Cecille was awesome. Made wonderful recommendations. The Beet salad was my guests absolute favorite. The oysters were wonderful. The scallops were ok. Had a smokey flavor. My filet was perfectly cooked but not as tender as I would have liked. Please consider adding Rum chatta and Chambord to your bar. The gelato and creme brulee were again wonderful. One thing be aware of is, a 20% service fee is automatically added to the check to ensure server's make a liveable wage. Hope to visit and check out the tavern downstairs if step's can be limited.“

“It was the review for me that caught my attention, that’s why it’s very important to rate restaurants on the customer service and the quality of food. Me and my daughter visited yesterday and the wings and fries were delicious, we also tried the Atlantis dog, which is the chili and cheese hotdog. I love the fact the our food was still hot especially our fries were boxed in a brown box container which I love because the fries were still hot and not soggy even when we got home our fries were still not soggy and I love that. “Surprised by some of the negative reviews. Have never had a bad meal or substandard service here, and Mother's Day brunch was no exception! Much better variety than sister location Dish & Dram (also great, but menu a little limited). All of us loved our selections. Chesapeake Eggs Benedict was divine. Server was super attentive. It had been awhile since we'd been there, and we are definitely going to put it back into regular rotation!“
