“Delicious meal at Little D's. We had 4 small plates: beets with goat cheese, Mars Hill mushrooms, scallops with risotto, pork ribs. Nuanced and elevated flavored. Lovely Sauvignon Blanc to pair. Attentive and helpful service. Gorgeous dining room. The beets were my favorite. A special place worthy of special occasions or just a regular date night.“

“Absolutely terrific. My wife and I come from Long Island, so we know our seafood. The mussels were amazing, a meal in themselves. My wife loved her octopus. I had fish and chips better than what I had in England. Friendly staff, great service. 10/10!“

“Absolutely love this place! Almost scared to rate it so high and encourage others to stop in. But they truly do deserve it. Wonderful staff always available to answer questions and give insight on their vast menu of specialty cocktails and Mezcal flights. Amazing atmosphere offering both inside and outside seating with heaters to take the edge off the winter temperatures. It is a small building/occupancy but I think it truly adds to the ambience of the space. And to top it off the food truck parked just behind is amazing.Parking: Lot between the brewery and Anoche has plenty of parking. Also a few spots on the street.Kid-friendliness: Not a location I would recommend taking your kiddos.“

“The food and service were fantastic! However, the reason I will return every time I visit Asheville is not actually food related. The owners fed their employees and their families the entire time they were shut down for Covid. The owner’s husband is involved in many global humanitarian projects. While I was reading the Cantina’s historical wall display, the researcher responsible for the wall came and spent about 20 minutes chatting with me about the area’s history. I was moved by life work of the people associated with the restaurant and will return in support of goodness in the world.“

“The food was great, ratings will be on the captions of each picture. The service could be improved. We sat at the bar since we didn't have a reservation, please reserve a table on Resy beforehand, Amex does not give you any priority. I would say it's a mix of fine dining and casual spot, about 80-20. Would I come back? I'm not sure if it's special enough, or worth the price.“

“Words on a recommendation on social media can’t possibly do this place justice! Go hungry. Save room for dessert. Splurge on a cocktail or two. It’s all absolutely incredible. Service and ambiance are just as incredible as well.“

“My boss took us out for a nice office dinner one night during the Southern Conference Basketball Tournament. It was very nice, but super expensive (not that I had to pay) and took forever. We were there over three hours. I guess if that's the mood you're in for, it's a good place, but another guy and I had a lot of work left to do for the day. My meal was good, the cabbage and citrus beet salad much better than the fish, though! I had never had cabbage cooked like that or beets and whipped feta either, but it was tasty!“

“Located on the top floor of the Restoration Hotel in downtown Asheville, The Observatory Rooftop Bar is a cool spot with nice vibes and tasty food. We went there on a busy Friday night and grabbed seats at the bar. The bartender was friendly and made killer drinks. We tried some fancy drinks like the Lavencello and Pisco Sour, which were really good. Prices are a bit high so we opted for just drinks and appetizers. We dug into the Steak Tartare and Chicken Nachos, which were big and yummy, especially with the extra white hot cheese. The balcony overlooking downtown was lovely, all lit up with twinkling lights. Even though it's a bit pricey, The Observatory Rooftop Bar is worth it for a special night out in Asheville.“

“The atmosphere and drinks were amazing! However we arrived around 5 o’clock and were told no coffee after 4pm - but they had coffee for cocktails. It was upsetting for our designated driver who was looking forward to enjoying a coffee while we had cocktails. Hoping this rule will change so we can enjoy a responsible night out in the future!“

“This small little restaurant has a great lineup of artisan pizzas that taste so fresh and flavorful. Had the pepperoni (americano) and also shared a basil (margarita). Both pizzas were right out of the oven with crisp lite crust. Super enjoyable.“

“This place is so unique and such a hidden gem. We stumbled upon it by going into highwire and wow were we not disappointed. The best eclectic tropical vibe mixed with cozy booths and phenomenal cocktails, this place is underestimated and perhaps unknown. It was by far the best gimlet in all of Asheville and provided a unique experience that was unmatched in the rest of the city. Absolutely worth checking out and getting off the beaten path.“

“Overall, it gets a 5 star because of the location and the views otherwise it would be a 2. Server was fine but disappeared when we needed something. Food is fine but certainly not great (it is a hotel after all). Very expensive, again it's a hotel, but $48 for 2 glasses of wine when you can buy a bottle at retail for $20 is grossly expensive. Most frustrating was that we called 3x in advance to ask for a table on the edge (best slot for views) and the hostess says ‘I see that but we only have two tables with a four top in the edge and we cannot accommodate you.' What? Tell us that when we called and we'd have gone somewhere else.“

“I've been coming here for the last 6 months. It's a great place to stop and get some quick tacos. The best really. I've tried all the other spots, you guys are fast, tasty, and the service is great.... Not sure what was in the air over there tonight, but I walked out on my tab. I owe you 8 bucks.“

“This is a good sized, outdoor venue with good viewpoints from all over. Drink prices aren't outlandish like some other venues. We had rain and lightning during the show and instead of fully cancelling, they cleared the venue, and within 45 minutes, let us back in instead of just cancelling the show. After a 3 hr drive, that was much appreciated. Also, love the parking right across the street for just $3.“

“Fantastic!! Waiter was Cassidy he was very nice and welcoming with great knowledge of the menu, this was our first time there and was so relieved to find a great noodle stop as we have tried others and were highly disappointed but not here. We got the dynamite shrimp , so creamy and just a hint of heat, we got the kids ramen so next extra stuff just the noodles and broth and those had great flavor they approved!! I got the deluxe ramen with the black garlic oil and pork belly so bold and smooth, and we got the spicy ramen which had a great heat level and my husband loved. Over all great food worth the price which wasn’t super high , nice environment with great music choice would highly recommend!!!! Thanks again Cassidy“

“A lovely spot for some local delicacies. Highlights and celebrates local farms and producers. The staff was extremely insightful and charming with their familiarity with the menu.I’d strongly suggest the carrots, trout, and the bread service. The strawberry sundae was incredibly comforting and nostalgic.Parking: We parked in a nearby garage.“
“Nice place to chill and enjoy a band. They have bowling lanes!! Lots of people were bowling, playing pool, video games, lots of cool table games. Drink prices are kinda high. $8-9 for a beer is rough. But, you pay for the ambience I suppose.“

“Holy smokes! What a wonderful bar and extremely knowledgeable bartenders. I wish I could stop there, but Tony and Nick are super friendly and make you feel at home. We tried a lot of cocktail bars in Asheville and kept going back to them for the best cocktails in town. Talk about the utmost of care and service, Kyle, the manager looked out for every need we had. We will go back every time we are in town!“
