“The food here surprised us and was really yummy. We had a long drive in from Charlotte and really wanted to eat at Blue Rooster but it was closed on a Friday night.They offer several different nationalities of food. I had Pad Thai with chicken and it was delicious.The staff was kind and efficient.The atmosphere is not a big deal here. Very basic, but we did sit at a table and eat. It was a fine atmosphere but nothing special.”

“120 year old store and 6 generations and still being ran by the same family!We’ve recently decided it’s time for the next generation of Fergusons to take the reins, with that being said we will be getting all new merchandise, diner, feed and ag supplies, hunting and burning permits, guns and ammo, clothing, knifes, and we will be getting GAS AND DIESEL PUMPS REPLACED AND WE WILL HAVE FUEL PRODUCTS ASAP! “In the drive-through, I asked for "easy on the ice" with my drink, not really expecting them to comply, but they actually did go easy on the ice! For fast-food service, I count that as "above and beyond." The exterior looked immaculate; seems like a well-managed outfit.”

“What a great find! We were hiking at Chestnut park and I thought about this food the whole time. I couldn’t wait to get down the mountain to eat. I was NOT disappointed!!! The cheesesteak with marinara was to die for, so was my husband’s Italian hoagie. We also tried the meatballs and they melted in our mouths. I could drink the marinara and would travel to NY myself for the bread he imports. The owner is super friendly and helpful and the portions are huge! The cheesecake is great too!”

“Amazing restaurant hidden in the mountains. Food and service were excellent. Ate here after playing Springdale. Great drink options and lots of different menu options. The views on the patio are amazing. It’s right above the pin on the 18th hole. Would recommend you to try even if you’re not golfing.”

“Wow!!! Popped into this local joint, and oh, what a surprise. The Bacon Gouda burger with local meat was juicy and cooked perfectly. I had the onion rings that were great, but that ring sauce was off the charts! I used the last drops to drip burger in! Also, I grabbed a homemade chocolate chip cookie sandwich that was delicious. Pleasant employees and nice atmosphere that reflected the town of Canton. Don't skip this one if you're in this area. Parking was right beside the place but kinda limited.”

“It's a very unassuming place but you order at the counter and if eating take a seat and they will deliver to the table. I had the ceasar salad, and the dressing was delicious! The small was more than enough. Also, I got the small cheese sticks, and they were great with plenty of cheese. The pizza was The White! The crust was thin and crispy with plenty of fresh toppings. Only wish they had parmesan shakers on table, but probably could have asked. It was some of the best pizza I've had in a while. Employees and owners were friendly, and service was fast. Seemed like most were take out because I was only one in dining room.”

“We visited Waynesville and the Church Street Depot was recommended to us. I do not really care for burgers. Well, we went 5 times to eat burgers there during our stay! The speciality blend is a must! The staff were extremely helpful in going over the menu. My husband tried all the different special burgers. He loved every one of them! The fries are out of this world too! Definitely will be back to visit them for another burger soon!!! We loved the Church Street Depot!”

“We love this place and have eaten here multiple times. It is our go to place in Canton. It's homey, the staff are all great. And the food is usually very good. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is last time I had the fried flounder it sure tasted like tilapia. NOT a fish that we like to eat. Try the onion rings! The nightly specials are pretty good too.”

“We had the steak taco and beef cheeks taco. Both were good. I would say the beef cheeks was better than the steak. We ordered two of each as they are small. The tortillas are home made and good. We prefer flour tortillas to corn, but that's just a preference. Based on the reviews on yelp, my expectations were really high. Jose's Taco Truck was good......just not "as good" as I expected. The service was excellent. The lady in the truck was very friendly and helpful. The place has a 100% rating for sanitary conditions. That's a huge plus in my book. We will go back and eat there again since it's only $4.00 a taco.”
