“More than coffee. It's an experience!! This has to be a new favorite for me. Not only is the coffee premium and then some, the atmosphere and people working there really make this a special place to visit. I'm so sad I didn't have time to go back for a picture. I'll be returning sooner than later. Banana Pudding latte!!! Must try.”

“CUTE! We visited from Utah driving around the park and stopped here. Not at all what we were expecting and got so much more than we hoped. $17.95 for a 4 course meal and the food was SO delicious. Oh my word, it surpassed the Paula Deen restaurant we went to and left us feeling satisfied. Family owned and such a great experience. If we are ever in the area again, we would come back in a heartbeat.”

“Super fun place filled wall to ceiling with 80s memorabilia - even had table top arcade games to play while you wait. Hot dogs were delicious and ranging anywhere from $3-5. Totally worth it!”

“After a 7 hour drive, we decided to take a chance…order pizza here and have it delivered. Good plan! Medium pizza was larger than a large at our favorite place at home. We also ordered the antipasto salad. Both were delicious!”

“My family ate here this evening around 8:30. The servers were phenomenal. Even though we were there close to closing time, the food was outstanding. The cashier was exceptionally friendly. My son is 10 years old and wanted a burrito but did not want veggies in it, they cooked his meal perfect to his liking. Both mine and my husband’s food was amazing!! Each staff member we had contact with was great! If you are looking for an awesome place to eat in Maggie Valley this restaurant will not disappoint! Food was very reasonably priced and service is quick. 10 outta 10, we will definitely be back!”

“Pleasant environment, good sandwiches, staff was on hand to answer questions. Sandwiches were very good, with fresh veggies and sauces. Pasta salad was tangy and fresh. We would eat there again”
“My husband and I were out in a ride and poked out head into this quaint health store. I had a question about a supplement, which turned into a wonderful informative conversation. Kathy is knowledgeable, informed, and kind. She is opened minded and gave a lot of helpful suggestions about a variety of topics. She is easy to talk to extremely helpful. Will definitely be back, as well will purchase online with her store! Thank you! ~ Jen and Russell”
“The owner/host is a dang delight. After a morning hike off of the Blue Ridge Parkway, it was time for lunch and sampling of local boozy goods. I had some spots in Maggie Valley bookmarked, so I made my way to the charming little hamlet. I initially wanted to get food and drink at the local brewery, but despite Yelp and Google saying they were open....that was not the case at all. So...just a little ways up the road was my other bookmarked place: B & C Winery. The whole of Maggie Valley seemed to be a bit deserted, but the winery (which also houses a pharmacy...weird, but you know...small town charming!) was open and I had the place to myself. The woman working greeted me right away and gave me a rundown of what I could do for a tasting while I looked over the multiple rows of offerings. There is almost too much to choose from, but you are sure to find something (or rather, several somethings) in your preferred sweetness or flavor palate.I enjoyed my tasting, enjoyed chatting with the proprietor and learning about the business, and I happily left with a couple bottles of wine to come home with me. I'm not sure I would encourage you to go too far out of your way to stop here. But if you were in the general area or passing through, it is definitely worth a little visit.”

“This tiny restaurant is a culinary gem in the small town of Maggie Valley. The staff and chef provided excellent service. I can honestly say that I had some of the best eggs Benedict of my life - black garlic bread, smoked salmon, roasted vegetables, and spot on Hollandaise. My husband ordered "the chef's whim" and loved the dish. They also sell pastries and breads. If you don't have a meal here you're missing out!”

We both could tell you truly put your heart into your work ! we wished we ran across this place sooner we was only in town for the weekend so unfortunately we didn’t get to try more but my husband is trying to convince me into having you over night ship him more of the cookies ? trust me this place is a hidden gem! price is amazing, quality is amazing! the lady who owns it was a sweetheart! thank you so much for the wonderful experience! and taken time to welcome us ! this is definitely on our go to spot when we come back ! keep up the amazing work ! and everyone needs to stop here !!!”

“Carolyn is a wonderful person and an incredible Baker! She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for my husband’s surprise 81st birthday party at J Arthur’s including delivering and setting up.The most difficult part of working with her is that she has too many choices to choose from!??The cupcakes were so moist, and the frosting was so delicious, each of them topped with a little something that indicated what flavor they were. The carrot cake was without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had! Moist, light, with delicious frosting and covered in pecans! I only wish I could post photos!I’ve always considered myself a pretty, darn good baker, but I’m throwing in my oven mitts!I’m so glad I ordered a bigger cake than what we needed! It did not last at the house after the party was over… I finally hid a piece for myself…There’s no other Baker that I will go to in this area!”

“I think this is the best place to eat in Maggie. And one of the only places around the area I found trout. Their secret tartare souce is to die for. And I don't eat tartar sauce. The only downfall of this place is the hours. Not sure how the hours are different "in season" but being out all day and riding very hard for me to catch them open. Glad I did this year or not because maybe I'll not get them open again. We'll see!”

“Teri as bartender is fantastic! I've never seen anyone move faster or handle more customers at the same time. She is attractive, personable and so competent. If I weren't already married I'd be on my knees asking her to marry me!”

“I'm a blue jean type of girl....earth mother if you like. The food here is good, but when you are greeted at the the door by a jazz pianist, the atmosphere isn't my cup of tea. I don't like to dress up, and put on my jewelry, to have a nice Italian dinner. But again.....the food is good!”

“A quaint little place in Maggie Valley. The food was decent, a little pricy for the quality, but certainly edible. The service at the bar was good. I had the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer. There were 5 medium-sized shrimp, and although small, they were fresh and well chilled.”

“Just wow! Our party of 5 came in for afternoon apps and drinks and this place did not disappoint. Really nice indoor seating (open area) and the outdoor seating overlooks the creek. Laid back vibe and extremely clean. Super friendly and helpful staff. We ordered beer flights (all of them were delicious … the aged barrel tripel literally tastes like whiskey!). We ordered a cheese flatbread and the fields flatbread - they were absolutely delicious!!! We will definitely be back next time we come to Maggie Valley. This place is worth checking out!”

“I would say...it is better then bar food, but can be better. The wings were the best thing. They are short staffed so it took long, but all in all I would go again.”

“This is by far one of the best breakfasts we have had in NC! The seasonal Strawberry pancakes we had were so delicious!! The hash brown casserole was the best we have had as well! Biscuits were on point! They have 2 different kinds of hash brown casserole and my husband said the Western hash brown casserole was amazing! My son loved his chocolate chip pancakes and our waitress, Jamie, was so kind and knowledgeable about the menu! She made our first time at the restaurant a great experience! We WILL be back!”
