“I went there to do some homework, its a great atmosphere no yelling just people lightly enjoying themselves playing 8 ball pool or having discussions. There was a prayer board which was interesting, I guess it may be more of a community than just a coffee place.“

“Just had a great brunch, complete with great food, peach mimosas, friendly service, and cheery interior! Not to be missed for Sunday Funday!Vegetarian options: Check the mushroom sandwiches - locally-grown, fancier varieties than you get most places (I’m a fool for mushrooms!).“

“My first time visiting this establishment but it won't be my last . Prices were good for the amount of food they give you. Food arrived hot and prompt. Beverage never stayed empty and the server was very nice. Decorative antique ambience. But I wish the parking lot was bigger !!!! Great job guys.“

“Super good food. Great place to have breakfast every morning if you're within 25ish minutes.Dietary restrictions: My wife has a gluten allergy, and frankly this is one of the most conscious restaurants with a simple, yet full and comprehensive gluten free menu. Most of their menu items are gluten free.“

“I am not a coffee drinker, but Java City Cafe, located conveniently in the Hunter Library, has non-coffee options. I’d never been here before, so I was not aware that they did not have liquid sweetener and you had to add your own with the packets. I ordered the medium Watermelon Cucumber Mint Refresher, and it was not sweet enough for me. I ended up adding a few packets of sugar. The drink itself had good flavor. The people working were super nice as well. I definitely would come back here, it’s worth the walk.“
