“The Depot on First has been open since October 2023 and since then has simply excelled as the only fine dining restaurant in the area. I think much of their success is based on the fact they not only maintain consistency in areas such as attention to detail, exceptional customer service and quality culinary experience, they also continue to evolve and adapt to changing tastes, trends, and customer preferences. I enjoy seeing their ongoing tasting and intimate dining events, of which I will have to attend at some point. Another cornerstone of success for many restaurant's is Authenticity, and this Farm-to-table restaurant continues to prioritize authenticity by sourcing quality ingredients directly from local farms and producers. They don't take any shortcuts when it comes to freshly prepared food to save time which is why I will wait patiently in the elegantly decorated intimate, warm and inviting dining room for my entree upon every visit. No Rush! Just me bring me another perfectly prepared old fashioned. Don't hesitate to step outside of the box and try something new on the menu, I am not a fan of porkchops, but I have become a fan of theirs. This is an environment that will put a smile on your face, Ben and staff are simply exceptional, every visit feels like coming home to dinner. I look forward to spending some time out on the beautiful back patio this spring. Cheers!”

“** Long Post Warning** OOHHHHH MYYYYYY GOOOOOODDDDDDD! Outside of Texas I have never had such delicious barbecue. The brisket will have you crying like a baby and the I house made pimento cheese sausage is crazy! The bbq rice is perfect and the pork bbq is ridiculous and flavor packed to the last bite. The whole staff is pretty much Military Veterans and you can see and hear them working together to make sure service is quick and seamless. The best barbecue place in NC hands down. Each year he honors active duty and military veterans with free food for the whole family. Most places that do military meals only give it to the military person and it's usually a lunch size portion of 3-4 options on a limited menu. Not at Prime. You get the same options and portions for free as you would if you paid. I have a family of 6 so imagine what kind of bill we usually have. To have that paid for and get the quality of food we get is mind blowing. Prime has a special table that can be reserved by veterans or active duty that seats 8-10 people and it's awesome. The owner Christopher Prieto is the most genuine and humble man on earth. My wife sat down to eat one day and he seen my Navy Veteran shirt. He asked me if he could sit down and thanked me for my service and just started talking to me and my wife like we knew each other all our lives. I knew I seen his face before and then I realized he was on Food Networks Chopped in the barbecue championship representing NC. My family is a family of faith and so is he. He talked to us about how God gave him his vision and his purpose for the restaurant and how he uses proceeds to help veterans and families in need have meals and basic necessities as his way of showing the love of the Lord. I cannot say enough about this place. My wife and I go every chance we get.”

“The decor was so fun, it really took me back! Enjoyed all the video games, arcade games and board/card games too! Only complaint was no food, it would be cool if they had like a popcorn machine or something. Otherwise, loved the place!”

“I stop here from time to time to get gas and maybe a few snacks on my way home. Gas prices are average. There's lots of parking available. The store staff are kind of friendly...nothing to write home about. I'm able to get what I need & hit the road, so that's all I care about. I recommend this location if you need gas or to make a quick stop for snacks or lottery tickets.”

“Went here today for the first time and loved it. My daughter couldn’t get enough of those snickerdoodle cookies. My husband and I loved the banana pudding and lattes. Very nice place to visit and great service. We’ll be back!”

“With Anna’s help I ordered some pastries for a party we are having coming up. First time experience with Mexican pastries. I left with a savory jalapeño bread that had ham and cream cheese in it and it was amazing! I need to go back and get some more of those when I pick up my party order! The bread was so tasty and fresh. I also had churros which were crispy deliciousness! Great place for pastries of any kind.Parking: There were some spots in front but I parked on the side street to the right because I have a walker. The side entrance has a step. The front entrance didn’t have a step and was a push open door. It wasn’t heavy at all.”

“Combination Seafood restaurant and market. Excellent selection and prices. We had senior lunch--trout, which was excellent, and bought trout fillets and nay scallops to cook at home. Highly recommended.”

“Read all the great reviews and they are true. Stopped by last night and had maybe the best tacos I've had since moving to NC in '05....the handmade tortillas were outstanding as well as the barbacoa and pollo, and the carnitas were absolutely perfect, slightly crispy the way I like 'em, not semi-soggy like some places serve it, which is OK but not my preference.They even gave me both salsa roja AND salsa verde (I like to mix 'em) without me even having to ask.Both Maritsa & Jadina? (my apologies if I got it wrong!) were super nice. I just can't believe how lucky I am to find authentic mexican food less than 6 miles from my house....it's like striking gold.Like the patriarch at my favorite family-owned mexican restaurant across the street from my apt. in Chicago told me back in like '92 when he looked at me from over his Chicago Tribune: "You leeve in the nayborhood?" "Right across the street" "You'll be a regoolar coostomer", and went back to his paper.He was right. And I will.”

“They have the best Cheese Steak stromboli around!! Every bite is delicious! It's mouth watering! Even the edges of the crust, you can't throw away. Instead dip them in their marinara. As a matter of fact this is one item that I have ordered at least 97% of the time over the course of 7-8 years!! If by chance with a slim cahnce that they do disppoint, the will correct it for you! (My experience only).”

“Love Cookout and their menu. Fresh, never frozen Burgers and the best sweet tea, that's always the exact amount of sweetness. Never been a huge fan of Hush Puppies until I had Cookout's, they are my favorite side.”

“So delicious! Ordered the jerk chicken egg roll, surf and turf egg roll, and the combination bowl (jerk chicken and shrimp). Soooo good! I ate the whole bowl in one sitting, didn't intend to do that, but I couldn't stop. I like spicy food and have a fairly high heat tolerance and the jerk chicken had a nice little kick. Definitely plan to order again and again! The wait for the food was a bit too long, but that's their room for improvement. Besides that, food and customer service was A-1! Sorry, no time for pics this time!”

“The service and how I'm treated in here is always A+ No matter if I'm working doordash or enjoying a meal with my wife they always look out for me when I come in here. Food is delicious and the fries are some of the best in the business and despite the price point I never feel like I'm not getting value for the money spent.”

“I'm an Ex-Employee at Wich Which, and I'm glad to have worked there. The staff are kind, The food, albeit pricey, is tasty, and the atmosphere is that of a somewhat calm, Fast-Food place. I would recommend eating here if you have the money and don't mind cost, but everyone experiences food differently, so take my word with a grain of salt.Kid-friendliness: There's a gumball machine inside filled with M&Ms, and containers and cup lids next to them. When you order a kid's meal, you get the sandwich, chips, a drink, and a token for the aforementioned machine! Not to mention that Kids have their own little packet to choose from.”

“South and central American food. Good place to visit for meat and seafood lovers.This place is always clean. Staff is super friendly and come around to see how your doing. Most plates are between $15-25. The portions are good size. And waiting time is short. The food itself is delicious and well seasoned. I recommend the Lomo saltado for $15.99 And the Cucumber juice with Chia for $3.99. very good. Overall from 1-10 , I give this experience an 9.”
