“I decided to venture out for dinner. The restaurant was clean and decently lit. I ordered the fresh catch of the day. The entree was Cajun filet Red Snapper, shrimp, mash potatoes and zucchini and spinach. This entree was everything and all things deliciousness in every bite. I wanted to savor this taste, so I took my leftovers home. The service was great. I look forward to coming back again.”

Quesadilla LaCocina has steak shrimp and chicken inside with peppers and onions and a guac/sour cream side salad. The protein was tenderand not overcooked. The seasoning was perfect. “I went to Clayton Steakhouse on Friday with my husband, our infant, and my parents; we had a GREAT experience! The restaurant setting is casual but cozy, very warm and welcoming. I called at 4:30 to make a reservation for 5:00 and they were able to accommodate us without hesitation. It did, however, get busy a bit later! I can see why! We were seated instantly and Lisa, our wonderful waitress greeted us. We ordered wine as they have quite a few great options, and she provided us with water. She then told us about the features and how the menu works. We started with Shrimp Diablo, a featured appetizer. This dish was amazing! A flavorful and buttery order of pan seared shrimp, with the perfect amount of spice! This was served with toast, perfect for dipping! The appetizer list wasn't extensive by any means, but I think the feature appetizer and salad bar made up for it! On to the entrées! My dad and I ordered a steak, and my husband and mom the tilapia. All of the entrées came with Texas toast, a side, and unlimited salad bar. The salad bar was SO good; it was fresh and the homemade ranch dressing was 10/10! I tried some of the tilapia and it was delicious, fresh and flavorful, perfectly cooked! The side of green beans that my husband ordered = also delicious! Saving the best review for last: my steak. I ordered the 8 oz filet and for me this was a risk. I have bad luck with steaks at restaurants. Order it medium, get it medium rare or well done. Order it medium rare, get it close to rare. FINALLY! I order a steak (medium rare) and it was cooked PERFECTLY. So tender, flavorful, and delicious. It was so nice to not have to send a steak back. The menu even states exactly the temperature and what that will look like. I ordered a baked potato with mine, and it was great; served with butter and sour cream. I was holding my daughter, so I asked my mom to get me some shredded cheese off the salad bar for my potato. Out of nowhere, one of the magical waitresses just popped up and said "I can grab it for you!" Lastly, we tried a few desserts, and they were, surprise, delicious! The chocolate cake was moist and amazing. I got the coconut pecan pie to go, and I will try that tonight! I would highly recommend the Clayton steakhouse! The atmosphere is no frills yet cozy, and the service and food was five stars! I can't wait to go back, and we will soon!”

“If you are food adventurous and like to taste international food, I highly recommend going to this new Honduran restaurant in Clayton. The food in the North Coast of Honduras is characterized by the use of green bananas. This is due to the extensive bananas agriculture established in the 50's and led by American companies. Most of the dishes offered in this restaurant are accompanied by fried green bananas, cabbage and pico de gallo. My favorite is the Pollo frito. But I have also tasted the baleadas, the pork chops, the fried fish, and even the parillada. And a must-taste is the hand made flan.I was truly impressed by the good flavours, great service, and familiar atmosphera of this small restaurant. Highly recommended.”

“Excellent food!!! Super yummy fish tacos, red tacos and ACP. Even the cheese dip was fantastic. Service was a little slow and the chairs were pretty uncomfortable but the food was delicious!”

“This is an awesome bar. They make cocktails with the syrups they use from scratch. The menu changes frequently, which makes going there more fun as you can be surprised with the something new to try. And they will always make classic drinks too. For whiskey fans, there are shelves stocked with many different bottles to pick from. This is a bar for people who appreciate good drinks (not just a beer or glass of wine). There is limited food selection but patrons are not discouraged from bringing something in (there’s a pizza spot next door). The atmosphere has a bar vibe, while also offering living room style seating, and outdoor seating with fire pits. Highly recommend giving it a try!”

“This was my first time here and I wasn't disappointed! My book club met here and there was plenty of space for us to mingle. I'm not a craft beer drinker but I did sample their seltzers, which were all good, and I ended up doing a half and half with their limoncello and sour cherry (at the suggestion of the bartender). It was delicious! I'll definitely go back.”

“Definitely my favorite coffee shop. I'm in clayton a few times a week with my kids and they always ask to come here for cake pops. I love their monthly latte specials (especially anything with maple flavor) and the apple bottom waffle. My husband likes the breakfast sandwiches. The outdoor seating area is nice and it has an accessible entrance for my son who uses a wheelchair. I probably spend way too much money here but would rather support a local small business than Starbucks. 5 stars!Kid-friendliness: High chairs (awkward footrests for taller children) and muffins, cake pops, chocolate milk, etcWheelchair accessibility: The front door has stairs only so there is a ramp entrance through the gate on their patio. “100% Sanitation grade. Food is always good and authentic Cantonese menu. Not your regular Chinese take out. Best hot sour soup ever. So good Authentic beef brisket noodle soup. Spacious interior and attentive employees. The prices though have gone up several times over the last two years. Servings are generous.”

“This is a good place to grab a burger and brew or a good pizza. The building is small and seating is a bit cramped, but there always seems to be a line of patrons waiting to be seated. We've had a good experience here, plus they've expanded to outside seating as well. Worth a shot, especially on weekdays when it's not so busy. Parking can be tough at times. Weekends you'll likely be waiting some time for seating. Prices are reasonable and service is good!!!”

“Really I'd give it an overall 3.5 but the food and service is always a 4. I don't go here much but whatever I order is always really good. I took my kids here the other day and they loved it. My son got a cheeseburger and it was huge. I was surprised he ate it all, to be honest. They're generous with their french fry portions as well. I usually get the falafel, which is always good, but sometimes I'll do a veggie or kebab platter. You really can't go wrong.”

Has the calamari, shrimp Tom yum, Thai basil chicken, special salmon roll and the green roll.Calamari was a little overcooked - tough. The rest of food was good.I am unsure if they would allow us to choose the spice level of the food. But that would honestly be ideal if it could be done.Will definitely be back again!”

“Wife and I moved to North Carolina nearly four years ago. Not long after we discovered Smithfield's. While not a big fast food guy I must admit I'm quite impressed by this chain. For fast food their food quality is quite high, along with quality side selections. Their service is second only to Chick-fil-A's and it's a very close second. Good food value, pleasant and attentive staff, beautiful architecture and the best fast food dining in atmosphere. It's my impression that thier customers are passionate and loyal and help to create a pleasant dining experience. Stop here before any other fast food restaurants if looking to have a quick eat out or carryout. Very family friendly.”

With my first experience, I didn’t like the pizza sauce cause it was too sweet for my liking, so this time I went by the owner’s suggestion and selected marinara sauce. Definitely a better choice for me! The veggie pizza I ordered was too pretty to eat(not too many pizza chains offer broccoli as a option)but I bit into it anyways. Sooooo delicious!! The staff being welcoming and very attentive speaks volumes of the customer service they provide and the BOGO deal on Tuesday is an added bonus!”

We weren't through yet with Jamaican specialties, one of good mention in Clayton, North Carolina, is Jamaica Bites Restaurant. There's a kind and generous Mama who'll take in orders, ever patient, ever kind. The sanitation rating is 98.1 percent. Order their authentic Jamaican beef rib Jerk. There's really a punch to that taste that only masters from Jamaica know how to. Overall, I'll rate this place a five for food and experience although three for the location. (Poor parking space quality) but of course we enjoyed our meal.”

“A wonderful Irish pub. Great service, great atmosphere, and great food. I had the Reuben with house made chips and a Guinness. My daughter had a turkey Reuben. Both sandwiches were excellent and the chips were YUMMY. I look forward to returning.”

“Before moving to NC, I’d come to visit and this was my favorite restaurant. The love the menu, the service is absolutely incredible, and I just love the vibes. I LOVE the food. I am not a burger fan, but I will order them from here. The quality of the food is fantastic as well. You will NEVER leave disappointed…I promise. Atmosphere rating doesn’t matter since we did take out, it’s not a place you think about atmosphere because you’re not dining there. The crust of the pizza was really good. All in all great value and if you’re looking for a legit NY pizza this is as good as it’s going to get for Cary.”
