“This place is busy, and for the right reasons! We went here in the evening and got a Pollo Asada. The craft and technique with which the chef made our taco, was truly impressive. The chicken was so soft and flavourful. We really enjoyed it. Though we would've enjoyed some hot sauce on it too, but we didn't notice the sauce bar in the back in time. This place gives you a street vendor vibe, in a closed restaurant - which I liked.“

“I'll keep this short and to the point: this is the best burrito I've had in the city hands down, and it's not close. Everything fresh and phenomenally seasoned, the lengua is succulent, the al pastor just the right spicy-sweet mix, I can't wait to try a few more meats. The staff is super friendly and the food comes out quick. As far as ambiance, getting in and out of there in record time is all you really want from a food truck. The best.“

There is only outdoor seating so I would keep that in mind if you plan on visiting during colder weather. But The tacos were delicious and I got way more queso and chips than I was expecting. They were sold out the last time I stopped by so that should give you a good idea of the quality of the food.“

The tacos are packed with well seasoned meat, the crispy fish was nicely dressed with slaw and sauce, the salsa are delicious and pack a nice little punch. The tostada was crispy with a flavorful avocado topping and the quesadilla just barely visible under the mountain of Al pastor. My michelada was nice but I'd give the agave wine margs a pass if you're a marg purist. Juan Carlos took great care of us. On hand just when we needed with what we needed, friendly, and left us plenty of time to chow and digest before sending us on our merry way. We really enjoyed the little cabana - it's nice when the COVID inspired street cabana matches the good vibes indoors so even the dog can enjoy the night out.“

They have the pastor tacos in the traditional rotating-roster, and they were delish! “My daughter and I stumbled upon this cute little Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood where we're staying in Brooklyn and we loved it! She had a burrito and I had steak and chicken tacos, and we split the huge serving of guacamole and chips. Everything was made to order, fresh and very very good. The guacamole was yummy as were the chips. Prices are reasonable and service was friendly and attentive. Loved their salsas too! We dined in. There are only a few tables so you couldn't bring a large party here, but for a few people or carry out, it's fine. We will probably be back before we leave town.“

Tacos are great (el pastor & Carnitas my fav) and remind me of my California days in LA where you can get that perfect simple street taco that lets the ingredients do the talking.
