“Los Tacos No.1 is an iconic spot in New York City. The tacos are really fantastic and fresh (though the pork may be a bit too salty for me). This counter order spot at the Chelsea Market gets very busy and popular during peak lunch times. There is not seating at the counter inside, but there are a number of tables outside (and if you walk west there are more, covered tables along the next street. The price is fine and the food is great - very much recommend if you are visiting the Market.“

“I want to thank the managers Luis P and Rodrigo ABecause of the recipes they shared with me so I could open my taqueria in downtown Manhattan, those sauces are a delight and I will finally be able to make them the same, not to mention the exquisite flavors.“

“Some of the best tacos I have ever had. Both the chicken and the steak were amazing along with the quesadilla which was better than I even expected. The service is nice and the workers are extremely helpful. This location is less busy than others I have seen so if you want to check out Los Tacos come to this location!“

“After being delighted by our first Los Tacos No 1 experience, we headed to Los Mariscos for our last food stop before leaving NYC. We ate it on the bus, so my memories are a bit blurry. The ceviche especial ($7.50) was delicious! I loved the crispy tostada and the savory citrusy flavors. I think there could've been a higher seafood:vegetable ratio, but the flavors and textures made up for the sparse amount of seafood.I tried the tacos a bit past their peak, but they were still pretty good. Overall I think I prefer the meats I had at Los Tacos, but it's hard to compare since I didn't have the seafood tacos fresh.I definitely want to return and dine in!“

“Honestly the food is AMAZING! AMAZING !!!!! BUT ...... The environment is not the best. It's tight, too serious, the food isn't the fastest and it is pricey. but I will say the food is worth it. I would just love the ambiance to change. Then it would be perfect. Absolutely perfect!“

“I'll keep this short and to the point: this is the best burrito I've had in the city hands down, and it's not close. Everything fresh and phenomenally seasoned, the lengua is succulent, the al pastor just the right spicy-sweet mix, I can't wait to try a few more meats. The staff is super friendly and the food comes out quick. As far as ambiance, getting in and out of there in record time is all you really want from a food truck. The best.“

“Recent dinner at Tacombi definitely hit the spot. The tacos are packed with well seasoned meat, the crispy fish was nicely dressed with slaw and sauce, the salsa are delicious and pack a nice little punch. The tostada was crispy with a flavorful avocado topping and the quesadilla just barely visible under the mountain of Al pastor. My michelada was nice but I'd give the agave wine margs a pass if you're a marg purist. Juan Carlos took great care of us. On hand just when we needed with what we needed, friendly, and left us plenty of time to chow and digest before sending us on our merry way. We really enjoyed the little cabana - it's nice when the COVID inspired street cabana matches the good vibes indoors so even the dog can enjoy the night out.“

“Ive been here a couple of times and as a LA native, this place definitely makes tacos that remind me of home. There is only outdoor seating so I would keep that in mind if you plan on visiting during colder weather. But The tacos were delicious and I got way more queso and chips than I was expecting. They were sold out the last time I stopped by so that should give you a good idea of the quality of the food.“

“Amazing and authentic taco spot!! The staff was super friendly, the service was relatively quick, and the food was so good. Honestly one of the best Mexican spots in the east village! I got this Al pastor burrito, which was great, and my buddy got the tacos. He said they were the best he's had in a while. Don't hesitate to try this spot it's phenomenal!“

“Sloppy and yummy Mexican tacos. So so so good! The taste was great, so flavourful. The soup next to it was perfect. I would highly recommend this place. Price was a little steep for my understanding but maybe that’s just the area. Friendly staff, cute atmosphere and great taste. What a dinner! Be prepared to get your hands dirty!“

“I had a lovely and memorable dining experience. I ordered the Spring rolls (which were delightful by the way): fried goodness served with lettuce wraps and julienne veggies. Super fresh and No guilt! My server, Alex, was what made the night! Although the spring rolls are served with fish sauce (delish!) Alex told me about the restaurant’s homemade soy sauce and offered to bring me a sample. What an amazing flavor profile: I happily alternated each bite between the two sauces. Sweet than savory—repeat. Also fun is the speakeasy style restroom and the sign above the toilet gave me a chuckle: “seat yourself.” Thanks for making my Friday night, Alex and 5Spice!“

“I was so happy when this place moved into the area, because there are very few good options for Mexican food, or at least there were. This place is really amazing there meat is fresh, their vegetables are fresh and their tacos are really great. The staff is super nice. The taco al Pastor here might be among the best in the city only because the pineapple is cooked on the grill and it’s really nice. That charred caramelized pineapple as a real beautiful flavor. Reasonable prices too.“

“The birria tacos were yummy but they were exceptionally good after dipping in the consomé. A flavorful combo that you shouldn’t miss. FYI all the meat used are halal! This is a great quick bite spot for cheap eats before I get my pay check.*Beef Al Pastor Birria Taco***Chicken Birria TacoThe taco shell was thin and slightly crispy. I was really skeptical about adding pineapples to beef tacos (I don’t like pineapple…) but the fruit actually went along well with fresh cilantro and meat. For the protein choices, the slow-cooked pulled beef was so juicy and tender. We found the chicken a bit dry, but it still tasted delicious after dipping in the soup. Both the meat and the sauces served on the side weren’t spicy.*Consomé (small)There were plenty of shredded beef and cilantro in the consomé, so so so flavorful. I felt like a small size was good enough for dipping, as it was quite salty to drink the soup by itself.“

“Being from southern California, I had high high hopes for this birria and consome and I was not disappointed! A great deal for 3 tacos for $12. Their mulitas were absolutely heavenly and that consome was cooked to perfection I drank the entire thing after dipping my tacos and mulita. We took these to go and sat at a nearby dog park to eat it. There was on line when we went (a Friday at around lunch time) which I was pleasantly surprised by! While we were waiting, another patron eagerly exclaimed that she had been looking for this food truck and wasn't aware that they had moved locations so it's evident this spot is beloved and sought out. Will definitely be returning in the future.“

“I was feeling down and needed a happy moment or two. Found both with good food and great drinks at Street Taco. I was in the neighborhood and saw the sign out front for happy hour. Mood lighting accentuated with bright colors, and not too crowded. Just my vibe. There's a bright orange VW van in the back that serves as the kitchen counter, and the best part- Bad Bunny is in the drivers seat! There are big murals, brick and wood decor. Stepped up to the bar and it felt cozy. I ordered a Passion fruit jalapeño margarita $9 and mini nachos $6 (which were not so mini) off the HH menu. Loved the margarita. Sweet but not overly, with a spicy kick. As for the nachos, they were big enough for two me's, because I had leftovers. Needed to try one more thing, so I ordered a mini Brussels Sprouts Taco $3 and a Tecate $5 from Arturo. He was a lovely bartender. Friendly and attentive. Especially when he included me in a smooth tequila shot. That was nice. Parker from the restaurant was sitting at the bar next to me and made my glum, lonely night into a much better one. Chelsea and Andi rounded out the bar scene. With a disco ball, Street Taco Bingo, Taco Tuesday specials and a DJ on the weekends, Id have to imagine it gets rowdy here. For a Sunday night, it was quiet and perfect. I'm looking forward to coming back!“

“Saw this place in social media and I knew I had to try it, so I did and it did not let me down. “The chicken tikka masala and the naan feels authentic and is just a comforting but binge worthy meal to have. Their tandoori chicken wings are quite good as well. The naan tacos are better than the roti tacos cuz the rotis just disintegrate when you add all the toppings. Love all their chutneys as well!“

“This is a very underrated truck in the city. One of the best birria spots I've tried in a while. I tried this place on new years, and it was sooo good, I dragged any of my friends that mentioned anything about food that day. I first got the birria torta, which was a heavenly sandwich, and a great deal for 10$. I also went back for a birria quesadilla, which was also really good! The service was quick both times, and I really appreciate them keeping reasonable prices on new years, with 1 dollar waters and 2 dollar sodas! I can't speak too much about the ambiance because I assume this was a temporary location for new years, but I would follow this truck anywhere. No food pics, food was gone way before I ever thought about taking a picture.“

“The churros are good, and I really like the mushroom tacos. And when I got mushrooms in my burrito bowl. The chicken taco was a bit spicy for me. I wish I can ask for no spicy things when I get delivery, but there isn't the option to request adjustments or changes via door dash.“

“Top notch! I was skeptical of the high ratings since many of the places we've been to in Manhattan have been higher rated than I would give them but ZAZA'S has earned it. The turkey bacon was the best I've ever had and the French toast was divine. My husband also said it was 4.5 stars for him, the highest rating he voiced for any place we visited this trip.“

“cute restaurant, bangin tacos and tostadas. wish we had this back home ?Vegetarian options: took the veggie tacos with black beans to go, had some extra guac, the sauces are spicy but delicious (to my painfully white palate)i actually had to wait like half an hour after getting the food to eat it bc planning reasons that are on me and the food still was delicious.“

“The tacos were delicious. Just pick one. You won’t be disappointed. It’s more of a take out place. A few tables inside and out. The people working there seemed like they all had a gun to their head. No napkins in the dispenser and there was no hurry to fill it although a steady stream of customers were in and out. It happens I guess. Take out is the way here.“

“Came here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Not having food all day and just getting done with the gym, I was going to stuff my face with something. That turned out to be tacos. Conmigo sold a Taco Flight ($42) which came with 8 tacos of your choice of the 9 tacos they offered. I did one of each except for the Impossible. For sure did not disappoint. The Barbacoa and Short Rib were on the dry and greasy side. My favorites were the Mahi-Mahi and Spicy Shrimp. And yes I finished the entire flight and was stuffed.“

“Omg…so good. Forgot to take pics because everything looked so delicious. Came in to dine-in but ended up getting takeout and we had the best experience. The host/server Kayla is so sweet and the food and drinks were quick. The margs are strong & not too sweet, we got strawberry, kiwi strawberry, mandarin, and blood orange to drink. All yummy! You 100% must get the street corn (we’ll come here weekly for this and margaritas), and the chicken tinga nachos were amazing too. Super flavorful and loaded! This is definitely a new go-to spot for us“

“We were in NYC for a couple of days, The Overlook was next door to our hotel so of course we went in. The first night we had a great few hours with Sara the bartender. She was super friendly and fun to chat with. We went again the next night to watch Monday night football. Ended up at the bar with the owner and a few of his friends. We had a blast! The wings were great, really good sauce. The bartenders were wonderful. We left feeling like part of the family!! Highly recommend stopping in there.“

“No frills taqueria on a quiet street near Soho. It's a pretty small restaurant but there's additional seating at an outdoor shed. Chips and guac were solid but the horchata was deliciously sweet and enjoyable. We ordered the Barbacoa, Carne Asada and Pescado tacos and enjoyed them all. We also got the Birria Quesadilla and that was also quite good. Would definitely return again!“
“I was having an active weekday morning and I wanted some good breakfast tacos. Hearty and fresh. I came across this food truck outside the New York Times building and the pictures depicted on the side do not do it justice for what I received. The tacos were heart with meat, eggs, veggies, some spices. As I type, I crave them.I could feel like there was real New York love embedded in this food. I would not want to go anywhere else.“

“Found this random taco place in Harlem, and I thought it was amazing! We tried the tinga taco, barbacoa taco, and the korean bulgogi taco. I liked all three, but my friend didn't find them to be his favorites. Customer service was excellent. “This taco truck feels a bit like a hidden gem. Came across it while wondering around the Wall St. area and gave some tacos a try. I tried a new type of taco that I never had before which was this goat barbaccoa (chivo), which was amazing and very flavorful. I can't recall any taco truck or brick-and-mortar that I've been too that offers this, so I felt that was very unique and will get me to come back. The Al Pastor was also pretty banging. Fresh, juicy with pineapple, and very flavorful. We got some Jarritos as well and they were really cold which was delightful on a hot summer day. This truck definitely exceeds expectations, I highly recommend hunting it down and giving it a shot.“
