I went for restaurant week and ordered the shrimp creole. Omg I cleaned my plate and was still salivating over the idea of more when I got home. My partner ordered the crab soup and the salmon. Eyes rolled in the back of his head y’all. Everything was so well and for my first time they left a lasting impression. Would definitely dine here again. I’m just disappointed the shrimp creole isn’t on the regular menu.“

“My favorite place in the world. I personally want to thank whoever made the executive decision to bring back the miso mussels. Wow. Also, a couple of years ago I swear there was a mussels dish with bacon in it, if that ever comes back may I be the first to know… seriously. There is not one bad thing on the menu. I come here almost every week and have never had bad service once. Emily and Gary are awesome! I highly recommend grilled oysters, the mussels, octopus, fries and aioli, and lobster roll to any seafood fan - you will not be disappointed!!“

Lobster bisque soup was oily and lobster virtually non-existent. It tasted like a frozen or canned soup. The scallops were okay.“

The server constantly made sure my cousin and had enough water and checked that everything was good and asked if we needed anything. I don't remember her name but she said she is from Jenkintown and we reminisced about zany brainy in the 90s. The caprese salad and veal Parmesan was delicious. “Really great. I had the Chongqing spicy broth, wagyu, head on prawns, scallops, and lamb as my meats and went crazy in the self serve area. Great quality meats and vegetable selection. Broth was good, service was good. I had to wait for about 1 hour because you cannot make a reservation for a 2 top, but it was well worth it. I left completely satisfied for 40 dollars plus tax, no uncharged. Highly recommended.“

“Just like Nona’s kitchen. The Scipelle soup is incredibly delicious. Perfect. This menu item, which is a very rare find, is a cherished dish here and Fiene’s rendition is the definitive preparation. I’ve been coming here for years to reconnect with my family roots through this soup and the recipe has not changed.You will not find better. Period.A major hit menu item was the Zuppa Inglese. This is not an Italian specialty dessert many may recognize. I’ve NEVER seen this on a menu before and I’m so glad I spotted it on the Holiday menu. Zuppa Inglese is an Italian Trifle dessert, similar in assembly to Tiramisu (which is also a menu star here). I hadn’t had this dish since the family holiday dinners of my youth. Curious how this found its way onto the menu I was informed that a matriarchal family member made this to order in advance at a the request of a good customer. Time consuming to prepare several of these were made and I was the beneficiary of a most wonderful accommodation.The folks at Fiene’s are family. They are “family” to the restaurant and to their guests as everyone here takes an ownership attitude. You will eat well. You will be treated well, like valued family members.I cannot say enough about the satisfaction of a Fiene’s experience.“
