Delicious food and good environment! In the heart of Philadelphia, this restaurant has many seafood options. I really enjoyed the crab cakes and the lobster roll. The oysters are delicious. I like them baked or raw. Good for date nights!
Often in Philly and this is a staple which I must visit (at least once) during my stay. Oysters and clams are fresh and shucking technique superior than most. Frustrating are shuckers that don't unhinge the oyster from the shell or leave shell fragments. At Oyster House, there is no need to use utensils cause they slip off the shell. We came for lunch and it really hit the spot. A variety of oysters are on the menu and we had fun trying all of them. The grilled salmon salad was excellent, especially if you like arugula. The salmon was so wonderfully cooked, melty inside and nice char outside. The fries are also delicious.
