“Can I give service 10 stars? We felt welcome, our waitress showed us what to add to cold noodles (vinegar and mustard), suggested getting hot bibimbap (not the one on the menu). She managed to communicate all of this with limited language. THANK YOU!Restaurant is pretty and spacious, food is good and plentiful.Thank you for a wonderful lunch!“

“Gayeon is an amazing and beautiful korean restaurant with dishes of one of the best in the state and New England! I highly recommend the Galbitang, Galbi, and Kimchijjigae when visiting, as their dishes will certainly blow you away with a taste like never before!!“

“First of all, the ingredients were so fresh and the food was all delicious!!! They kept refilling the broth, so I ate delicious food without any inconvenience ? The mango sorbet they gave me at the end was the best dessert ever ? The staff and owner were so friendly that I couldn't help but leave a review ? I think I'll stop by every time I go to New Jersey!“

“The seafood kalguksu noodles are steamy! It's plump and delicious! The stone pot taste is exactly what I remember. The water dumplings are delicious, but you should eat them for the taste rather than expecting a large portion. I like the portion size, but overall it may not be enough for an adult man to eat! Still, it was delicious so I could visit again! No tip! It’s a cafeteria.“

“Today I woke up craving spicy braised fish even though, I never had it. After, doing some Googling on bed, it seems like there are very little restaurants that serves this dish but finally found that this restaurant served it. I took the chance, and drove 40 mins from NYC to get my hands on some braised fish.Vibe:It’s an adorable restaurant with a patio. There is plenty of parking next door. Right when I walked in, I saw many older Korean customers coming from Sunday church. The employees were all ajjummas. That’s when I knew this place is legit.Food:I got the braised pomfret. 10/10 - tender and sweet. Not very spicy. Apologies as I don’t have a good photo, I demolished the plate. It was too good.Service:Ban Chan was served and the staff were very friendly. Despite the language barrier, our waitress was able to help with recommendations. Please visit, it’s a great restaurant. Def bringing friends here next time.“

“great place for meat-lovers.we got plain and marinated galbi, ribeye, and yukhye. the meat was fresh, juicy, and so tender. the side dishes and a la carte entrees are not great and can be skipped but if you love meat, this place is for you.“

“I’m coming here for its handmade tofu but honestly that was the most disappointing dish we ordered. The tofu was very dense and firm, can’t really tell the difference between the three flavors. The other dishes are surprisingly good, especially love the bossam!“

“Service was super good, best Soon Tofu in NYC/Fort Lee. The Banchan is phenomenal with the kimchi being my favourite because it is fresh and not fermented. They take extra care in making the tofu bowl super hot and when you get spicy it is hard to eat it because it is so hot! But so delicious. Took me over an hour to eat everything.“

“Due to circumstances, I can't go and eat there, so I've had Uber delivery for 3 days in a row now (trying various things). The quality of the food is incomparable to other restaurants. It's on a different level. Each and every sauce is made with care. They package it well. I had a question about the menu, so I called. When I did that, the female waiter (not Korean) was really kind! She explained it to me while shouting a little and said that she was sorry for yelling at the end because the store was too noisy. Even though she was busy, the waiter explained things so well! The food was great too!! I want to go and eat it warmly. I think it will taste better.“

“I came by with my friends around 7pm and there was only about one other group there. We ordered on the kiosk and sat down for our numbers to be called. I liked the self-service aspect of this place, it definitely made things more efficient. We all ordered a different dish and they all tasted great! The signature beef kooksoo (large) was very flavorful and a huge portion of noodles. My friend tried the galbi jjim and he said "fantastic/outstanding, I'd definitely eat again." My other friend tried the king rib jjampong and he said it had a delicious broth/noodles but the meat was alright (but still good overall). He felt that the "regular spicy" was the perfect amount of spicy. I definitely enjoyed the convenience of this spot and id definitely come back.“

“A dependable spot for a quick bite of lunch. Their employees are always efficient and courteous. I frequently pick up either a kimbab or one of their lunch specials - delicious and great value. They recently put some work into upgrading their decor as well, so if you want to sit down and watch some Korean language television while you eat, also a good option“

“Good Korean food, best gamja tang I have had in the area. The stews are really good, and I love the kimchi here. This place is crowded often and really popular, so parking could be a problem as there is no parking lot and no ample space for parking in the area. Other than that, no complaints, price is also reasonable.“

“This is the first chicken restaurant I've been to since moving nearby, and it's so delicious! I ordered crispy chicken and soy sauce, and I'm very satisfied because it's not too spicy and doesn't smell like chicken! The owner was also friendly~ Highly recommended~“

“Mhmmm... my tummy is happy. My recommendations: -Surf & Turf combo -Beef Combo -Pork Combo -Scallops w/ spicy mayo and cheese Been here a total of 4 times and have always left satisfied. The quality of the meat is good but it's not the BEST KBBQ I've ever had. It's also not the MOST flavorful K food but I still enjoy eating here. Great for a casual late night dinner. PROS: -Open late until 2:30am M-S and 11:30pm on Sundays -Food and portions are consistently good -Service is attentive and quick. They cook the food for you. Some are friendlier/more talkative and personable than others but overall service is good! CONS: -Parking is in a small lot so it can get tight. Pretty limited -Pricing is on the higher end... This is NOT an AYCE so I recommend getting the combos for a better bang for your buck as ordering a la carte can add up quick. They also have other traditional Korean dishes and appetizers ranging from ~$17-$40 -Wait times can get long during peak hours so I suggest putting your name on the wait list ahead of time. You can reserve your spot via Google or by scanning a QR code there in person. After coming here 4 times, I would say the beef combo or surf and turf combo are the best on the menu. I've never ordered the traditional dishes so I can't speak on that. The beef combo is advertised for 2 people but... I will admit that if you have a huge appetite you MIGHT still be a bit hungry. The beef is tender and juicy, but not seasoned. So you have to use their sauces or condiments to add an extra kick of flavor. My favorite is the soybean sauce! The surf and turf includes the beef combo with an added steamed clams + assorted seafood (mussels, shrimp, crab). This is advertised for 3-4 people and I have been more than satisfied ordering this with just another person. We eat a lot okay.. LOL. Seafood was good as well (but not the best seafood I've had) and also comes with its own sauces. One of my favorite parts of the combos is the KIMCHI FRIED RICE WITH EGG!!! They use a culinary torch to cook it. Side dishes include kimchi, kimchi radish, two salads (one with a sesame oil dressing and one with a sweet/citrus-y dressing), egg souffle, kimchi tofu soup, jalapenos, soybean paste, and more sauces... I will be a returning customer to try more dishes. I would bump my review to another star if they had an AYCE option or bigger meat portions for the price.“

“Tl;dr great soup dishes, loads of meat, very small sitting area.Came here after a ski trip and was the perfect meal after a cold day. The sitting area was tiny and some dishes are takeout only but the soups they had available were delicious. Each dish comes with rice and it was loaded with meat.“

“Although I'm a regular at this Korean BBQ spot and have brought friends multiple times, I have to say the pricing is a bit steep for the portion sizes. While the quality is good, there's room for improvement in matching portion sizes with the cost. Overall, it's a decent option for Korean BBQ, but be prepared to pay a premium.“
“Whenever I worked from home, I had a hard time eating.Buying and eating at Duri saves money compared to buying groceries for meals.I think it tastes better, so I use it often. There is a wide variety of menus, so I use it on weekdays and weekends so I don’t get tired of it.“

“Bonchon is THE brand for a reason. Great Korean chicken, always hits the spot, consistent. Very crispy without ever being crunchy. Very flavorful without really sticky fingers. It takes a while longer than other wings to cook, but it's worth the wait.“

“Stopped here on a trip back home, by chance as we stopped at the HMart around the corner. Beautiful space and waitstaff were so welcoming! We weren't up for a big meal but we got the mandoo soup and dumplings for our daughter. I know I probably should have ordered noodles as that is their specialty, but was unsure if it would affect my sugar levels a lot. I guess the mandoo wrappers would have similar effect, so, oh well! We were greeted with a warm broth tea that was delicious, a little salty, but so comforting on the cold day. Loved our mandoo soup! Flavor was so good! My only wish was that the mandoo in the soup was smaller. It was bigger than golf ball size and was a little difficult for me to eat without feeling I was doing so "inelegantly". They were filling too, but so much to bite into. But this is just my personal preference. Overall, great place and great food, with lovely ambiance and wait staff.“

“Bonjuk is a rice porridge chain from South Korea. I originally started eating rice porridge whenever I was not feeling well, because it was easy to digest and made me feel better, but I have come to crave it even when I'm totally healthy. I had visited the Flushing, Queens branch a few times but this was my first visit to the Fort Lee, New Jersey location. I recently had dental work and was told to eat only soft food. Immediately Juk came to mind. I was warmly greeted upon entering and given barley tea by the server (possibly the 사장님/owner). I told her my concerns about anything crunchy when it came to banchan (side dishes) and she was very understanding and didn't bring anything that would be difficult to chew. I ordered the 참치 야채죽 (Tuna Vegetable Rice Porridge). It was freshly cooked and It tasted perfect. It was as good as the Bonjuk locations I used to visit in Korea (and even better than the Flushing location). It was also easy to eat with my recent dental work. It was so good that I ordered another to go. The presentation was also unique. I loved the cute bear face on top. Atmosphere was fantastic. Super clean and comfortable seating with relaxing background music. My To-Go order was packed with care. I highly recommend this Bonjuk location. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere.“
“I have a 19 month old and Charim is the only place I trust and regularly bring home banchan and soups for her ever since she started solids! I’m so thankful to the owner for giving my family the option for organic, clean, and tasty everyday Korean food. I especially love their japchae and always grab one “

“Nice ambience, good food and mostly responsive staff.I had a tiny piece of plastic in the food which the server apologized for. Rest i5 was a good experience. Their name is different on the board "Soft Tofu" which can create confusion for some. They've parking in front of the restaurant.“

“So Kong Dong is one of my favorite Korean restaurants. It's homey, comforting, and the prices are extremely fair for both the quantity and quality. I would highly recommend the squid dolsot (a hot stone bibimbap, where the stone bowl sizzles and browns the rice on the bottom)! This dish was only ~$20, which I thought was fair for the value and absolutely delicious. They don't skimp on the squid either, which can be a sticking point sometimes at other restaurants. Overall, amazing experience. Down to earth, excellent quality, and an all around great place. Don't skip on So Kong Dong the next time you're in Fort Lee!“

“I came with a group of 5 for my birthday dinner, and we each ordered a hand roll set which were all so delish. We also ordered three entrees: spicy dalkgalbi, donkatsu, and beef short rib. They were all outstanding. I highly recommend coming here for a casual night out with friends or even a date night with your significant other.“
