“Great Peruvian restaurant in the Harrison/Kearny border. It is conveniently located across the street from the very nice Hudson County Park which is also shared between Harrison and Kearny. Small restaurant but tasty food. Try their causa sampler and ceviche. Both very good. Wash it down with some chicha morada.”

“Great place to see bands! Been to a few @StompOut and @Poorman shows there and had a blast. As someone who's disabled it's great that they have a table to the side of the stage so someone like me doesn't have to try to see through the crowd to watch the bands.Staff is friendly and overall, Jimmy's is a solid venue, small enough to be intimate, big enough to accommodate a crowd. I'm a fan.”

I love that they have several flavors of tres leche to choose from and will definitely go back. The dulce de leche (caramel) is fantastic. Is it the best tres leche I've had? No. But it's good to the point we'd return the 45 minutes to have it again. I read a review of someone complaining the cake was dry. I'm not sure how that's possible as the milk/s are halfway up the cake.”

The flavors are perfectly balanced, and the ingredients are always fresh and high-quality. The only downside I noticed is that their Chow Mein options were not quite authentic and didn't look like what I was expecting. However, that didn't take away from the overall excellence of the restaurant. I highly recommend Jing Du to anyone looking for a great meal at a great price. This place truly deserves 5 stars!”

“This is one of my favorite no frills hole in the wall spots! It's a mom and pop shop run by a mother and her son. They make Chinese food that is more Southern style (I believe they're from Yunnan) and are consistent with their quality of food. They're cash only, super old school since they don't do delivery or have a phone number and are only open on certain days of the week (at the time of writing, 4 days a week). So be sure to check the posted store hours before you go! If you get any of their noodles it always comes with a side of their homemade chili oil and it's so fragrant and flavorful! It has a little hit but isn't too spicy. It's one of my favorite parts of their noodle dishes and honestly they should probably bottle and sell it. They have a few types of noodles: regular noodles (wheat), knife cut noodles (much thicker and they have an irregular texture) and mixian (rice noodles). Their mixian is very smooth and a good option if you want a slightly lighter noodle. I opt for the knife cut noodles when I want some texture and something heavier. They also have a few vegetable dishes that are simple but give you some balance if you like veggies with your meal. My go tos are the spicy noodle of my choice with the meat sauce or the non spicy version with meat sauce. In our most recent visit I got the spicy mixian with meat sauce and my partner got the mixian with meat sauce with an added egg. You'll see the chili oil pictured as well. I also included a picture of the stir fried cabbage from another visit! Though a bit out of the way if you're not in NJ, I've now managed to introduce the spot to two of my friends and they liked it as well! I'm always happy when I come here and we'll continue to frequent Lucky Foo. I'm so glad they survived Covid and still seem to be doing well. We'll keep coming back as long as they're open!”

“There are many Peruvian restaurants but Julia’s Cafe is one of my newest favorite Peruvian food in town. The food is definitely authentically made by a Peruvian cook that understands the passion of culinary through Peruvian cuisine. Even down to sauces and spices you can taste some authenticity. We often get catering when we have a get-together or a birthday and they often times accept despite not having delivery drivers sometimes. I’m grateful for the owner and his service and for food. Everyone should give them a try and have a taste for themselves. ??”

“They are so much more than your average icecream shop, not only do they have bubble tea (which isn't always easy to come by) they have delicious and unique flavors of rolled icecream they prepare fresh. You can tell how much they care about what they are preparing, if the fruit for something they have isn't ripe yet, though they might have the fruit, they let you know so you're not just eating any bland fruits. And they have constantly been trying new flavors and creations of this delicious rolled ice cream. They prepare it right there in front of you. The icecream isn't the only thing making this place amazing, but also the huge variety of bubble tea flavors. Even with different types of boba, and they even have the new craze of the cheese foam varieties! There are some place that make bubble tea really watery or just plain gross, but this place makes it the best I've ever had. I didn't even use to have the tapioca boba pearls untill I had it here, its just so fresh, sometimes it is even still warm in my drink because they are constantly making new fresh batches. They even started serving Acai bowls, which also taste incredible here. I highly recommend this place, it is honestly the best newest thing to happen to Kearny.”

During quarantine, I had hard time picking up sweets and Bindi opened its doors for individuals to get their desserts!I love their pecan bars. I've ordered twice already and their cookies are delicious. I've also tried their apple caramel cake and it's not bad. They come pre-sliced. You can keep them in freezer and take out a few a day or two in advance to defrost in the fridge or just out in room temp.Just to note, they are "commercial" use sizes. For example, 5.5 lbs (21 count) of raspberry linzer bars. Each bar is about 4x 2.5 inches.Do go online and check it out! The delivery has been next day for me and I've been enjoying it!”

Whenever I go in there there is an atmosphere of neighborliness and friendliness to everyone, and he is definitely not a discriminatory business I would avoid all reviews that claim such nonsense. Everytime I go, I get the same order and I am never disappointed. The location has a cool vibe between the chill music, the murals on the wall and the retro Pac-Man machine you can play while you wait. Mauro also makes incredible pasteis de nata, a delicious Portuguese custard that he is constantly perfecting and adding new flavors, seasonally. Check them out!”
