“Very pleased with my Vegan donuts that I grabbed from here. I love that they even have Vegan options. The only options that they have so far are plain glaze and cinnamon sugar. But I'm hopeful that there will be more vegan flavors in the near future. **crosses fingers** You can't really tell that there were alternative ingredients used in both of the donuts. I got a hint of something citrusy or sour-like every now and then but I feel like if you're used to having vegan sweet treats then you know it's whatever they used as their egg alternative. It wasn't off putting at all! I really did enjoy both donuts. Something that was a plus for me is that both weren't overly sweet. It was the perfection level of sweetness... one that you don't have to be guilty about. I wanted to try the other donuts but I was past my dairy intake levels already. Whenever I don't have too much dairy in my week, I'll definitely be back to try out the other flavors. I should add that I'm not vegan but I enjoy vegan desserts and pastries because I do have a dairy intolerance. More of an acne issue rather than a stomach issue. It's so unfortunate but I love finding places like Dough that have vegan options. I went on a Thursday afternoon during one of my work breaks. I arrived to an empty store (which I very much prefer lol). So service was super quick for me!! However, I have heard of this place being really busy. Especially during morning rush and the weekends. The space is pretty awesome. I love that it is parent-kid friendly; they have seating for kids and some items for them to play with. It makes my mommy heart happy whenever I see a place tailoring to parents and their kids.“

“This is one of the oldest establishments on Avenue U . They have been there 50 years that I know of . Their donuts are okay . The coffee is probably the best coffee on Avenue u. Sometimes the staff can get a little grouchy but they're basically hard-working decent people . Every so often some crazy person comes in and it can be quite entertaining . The Establishment itself is a little rundown but it's okay . There is no place cheaper than this on Avenue U and the food is reasonable and good .“

“I walked in from the street and wow what a unique atmosphere and great food. So far I've only tried to vanilla doughnut, there are more unique offerings to be had. They have a very selective and tight and then you've donuts With exotic choices, such as Chai latte, Ube, Alscapone, and a passionfruit glaze toasted meringue donut called Glassmoon. Be warned you don't have hot coffee, I picked up a cup from Wyckoff Starr Cafe down the street. I think this is the best donut I've had in the city. also have a full menu of classic American food, such as burgers, fries, and onion rings. You can even get a burger with a donut instead of a bun. I'm not a drinker, but they have some good beers on tap as well. is a speakeasy bar in the back through a through a photobooth. Good music playing. Really the only complaint is no hot coffee for your doughnuts.“

“The service is top notch the people who work there might be some of the nicest in the neighborhood and the gluten free breakfast taco with chorizo is made of dreams it's incredible. “Admittedly, this is not Rao's or a high-end restaurant. However the food was excellent. It is like a "guilty pleasure" type joint, as you can't eat this stuff every day because of the calories. This place takes you back to the days when you could go into a diner and sit at a booth. Sadly, those days are slowly ending, and all we have these days for the most part are healthy restaurants with tiny portions and yuppies with attitudes as customers. It is great to see a place like this still exist in Park Slope, like a blast from the past. I ordered rice and beans which were massive and excellent. Grilled cheese and fries also good. The donuts and milkshakes are also pretty damn good, and the salads are fresh.They are also very friendly. Great bang for your buck compared to other Park Slope restaurants. They are also open seemingly 365 days a year. If you place a big enough order, you can usually convince them to deliver outside their normal range, so they are flexible about that kind of thing. And I believe they are open 24 hours a day so you could actually order from them at 4AM.Vegetarian options: N/A“

“We stayed in the 39 St/5Ave area during our vacation (summer 2023) and had our first NYC Diner experience at Sunset Park Diner. It was fantastic! The atmosphere is spot on, this is the quintessential diner, the service was awesome and the servers were very nice. The food was typical good home food, nothing fancy, just tasty comfort food! We went back 2 more times during our weeks stay!Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian options…Kid-friendliness: Great place for people of all ages!!Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance off street, directly into restaurant. “Fat Doughnut is making everything from scratch, using family recipes. It can't be compared with highly processed and overpriced full of chemicals Dunkin products. Where else can you get freshly baked brioche toasts for your sandwiches and French toasts? I order an egg sandwich on a croissant often - buttery and flaky! If you ordered a take out or delivery, your croissant will get soggy and gummy. Homemade food has to be inconsistent because it's fresh and not a cookie cutter prep from the outside corporate source. The food, the donuts, and their coffee all to die for.“

“Really amazing donut shop in Brooklyn! I can't even tell that the donuts are vegan. My favorite donuts were the PB and J and the Almondine donuts. I honestly think you can't go wrong. The worker who helped me pick the donuts was very sweet. The inside of the store is mainly a togo spot, but there is a small table on the outside where you can enjoy your donuts. Highly recommend this spot!“
