The Tang Reviews
Great fresh noodles, good balance of ingredients, tasty soup base, efficient and friendly service.
Fairly priced and GENEROUS portions. 10/10 would eat the Drunk Noodles sober and drunk again.
I’m a Columbia student and come here all the time. The prices are super reasonable, and one bowl of noodles is more than enough to fill you up. It’s also a great spot to come with friends and order a few stir-fried dishes to share. Highly recommend the beef noodles with mashed potatoes and the crispy salted chicken — huge portions!

The Tang is a Chinese Noodle Bar in NYC offering authentic dishes perfect for sharing. The restaurant just reopened with new dishes and adjusted prices, making it a bargain compared to other spots. The braised beef noodle was tender, and the pig trotter noodles are especially good. Flavors are strong, with highlights like the herbal chicken noodle soup, which has delicious broth and super tender meat. Other tasty plates include tiger prawns with salted egg yolk, drunk noodles, and pork dumplings in chili oil. The vibe is nice for catching up with friends, and the service is great. Cocktails like the cucumber flavor are unique and cool. The open kitchen adds to a clean and comfy atmosphere. Recent reviews praise the hearty, flavorful soup, the nutty and savory Ma Jiang Mian, and the excellent egg-buns for dessert. The staff are attentive, and the place has a classy yet relaxed feel, perfect for celebrating or a casual night out. Overall, The Tang offers a mix of comforting, flavorful meals with great service and a lively ambiance.
