“First time visiting but Pitchfork has been on my list since opening. Given the Farmer's Rail track record, my expectations were set for a great experience and the team did not disappoint! Everything was exceptional, service, atmosphere and especially the food. Starting with my Black Walnut Manhattan, continuing with amazingly unique appetizers, to the taste bud satisfaction of the main course, I am looking forward to my next visit.“

“Really good breakfast and good prices. Hash brown omelette is good, steak and eggs too! Home fries delicious. I did not care for the sausage gravy and biscuits. It's a darker gravy that is too salty and greasy for my tastes. They do however give you a ton for $5!“

“We love Dean Martin’s Lanning’s. It has an updated, old Vegas vibe to it. Dean and Bethany are hands-on and bend over backwards to make sure that you have a perfect experience. You can’t miss with the bone-in filet. Get there early to have a drink in the bar before dinner to take in the fantastic, live music.“

“It was the perfect place to take my mom as she is in a wheelchair. The staff was so accommodating. Staff was spot on for professional servers, which has been hard to find since before Covid. Presentation of food was excellent, and taste was exceptional. This is definitely our new family favorite. We are all adults and no children-we will be back again and again. “All of the swensons guys were seriously hustling and working hard!! I mean they were running to and from cars! They were also very nice and professional! This was the first time we’ve ever tried swensons because we are out of town and we couldn’t get enough! The Galley boy is SO GOOD, the burgers alone are very flavorful and juicy. The potato teezers were so good too! We finished our food and ordered two more galley boys for our long drive back home! I seriously can’t wait to get it again!!“

“The "Million Dollar Bacon" is only limp bacon with maple syrup poured on it. It was terrible. The egg dishes were good. The place is so loud that it's hard to hear people at your own table. At less busy times, it might be easier. Our server was wonderful.“

“Traveling through with my husband and 2 kids ages 5 and 8. Our waitress was attentive and kind. Food was fresh and yummy! The best part was the value of the kids meals. They were listed as "mini burgers" but they were full size burgers with a generous portion of fries! Plus, all kids meals include a drink, dessert, and toy! They both got ice cream cake and got to pick a toy from the treasure chest. If we lived locally, we would stop in often. Great spot!“

“I've been on the patron side of bars going on 4 decades in 50 states. I have to give this bar credit where credit is due. Of all the bars in Akron, this one is the cleanest and classiest by far. Of course I could find some things that they could improve upon. No bar is perfect. But this one comes close. Cleanest restrooms, friendly staff, prices are decent. They doing it right. Upscale slightly older crowd. Highly recommend.“

“food was great....... except for the chicken wings. we came out of state from Buffalo NY for a concert in Akron OH. seen this place so we stopped. the portions are great for the price. I did the half rack of ribs and they were pretty good. my wife got a bacon cheese burger and loved it. said it was juicy and good flavor. the mac n cheese wedges were awesome. now this is where it turned. being from Buffalo I am spoiled and know my wings. I got the Cajun wings from here in a 5 piece to take and snack on back at the hotel. I took one bite and never finished them. the texture of the meat was super dense like they were boiled instead of deep fried and the skin was rubbery and almost like paper thin. the Cajun sauce was good but the wings themselves were just not my cup of tea. they don't come close to REAL Buffalo chicken wings. all in all I still highly recommend this establishment and the rest of the food. also prices, atmosphere, our waitress and the rest of the staff was excellent.“

“My daughter and I stop here for the first time on our way to Cleveland. Found on Google and gave it a try. So glad we did! It was very busy when we arrived but they cleared a table quickly and had a seated within a few minutes. Everyone was friendly and the service was great. Even though it was very busy our food arrived quickly. My daughter got the fat boy bacon burger with fries and I got a Reuben with onion rings. Everything was fantastic! Didn't have room for the delicious looking desserts they offered but we would definitely get some next time!“

“I had looked at reviews since I had to go in for a fasting procedure. I knew I'd be famished by the time I was done. I HAD to try the eggplant soup because I love eggplant and it's something unique. If they sold it by the gallon, I probably would have taken one or two home. It was delicious. I will definitely be headed back even without a procedure at the hospital. Next time I'll try more but when I got there I was ready to get out of the hospital, period.“
