Yes, her pastries are out of this world and I could wax poetic on them - specifically the sweet potato one, look if you know you know - but this review is for the absolute masterpiece of a wedding cake that she put together for us. Because we’re long standing customers, we actually ended up doing both the spring/summer and the fall/winter tasting boxes. There is no wrong answer here, every single cake she makes is delicious, but we ended up going with the pretty traditional almond raspberry with the raspberry jam. It’s sweet, it’s decadent, and it was a huge hit with our guests. And god, just look at it! So beautiful! 100% worth it, choose Isa and Three Bites for all your pastry and cake needs!“

“Was craving some bingsoo (Korean shaved ice) and luckily was able to find some at Tea Zone Bakery! They have regular fruit bingsoo and snowflake ice bingsoo on the weekend! It was refreshing with a variety of fruits, sweet red bean, little rice cakes, and vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. They also have a plethora of freshly baked Korean style cakes and breads ranging from soboru (my personal favorite ) to red bean buns and fried donuts. Would love to see if they can do a red bean filled soboru bun! I was surprised by how good the fried donut was - super soft and filled with sweet red bean inside. If you're a chestnut lover, I also recommend the chestnut soboru bun. It had chunks of chestnuts inside and was not too sweet. If you're a savory person or need a meal, they also serve ramen There are plenty of seats inside and the interior has such a classic, homey feel to it. They even have traditional Korean style seating! The workers are also very sweet and friendly. Definitely a place I would go back whenever the sweets craving hits!“

“The Bacon Egg Breakfast Sandwich was absolutely delicious! We split one between the two of us and were not disappointed. The price($10) was a bit high, but after eating it, I understand why. “Cute little cafe in downtown! I walked here from my hotel after reading about this Lemon Aioli and Rosemary-Lemon Sausage, I knew I had to have it. I placed my order online and headed over. It's super cute and isn't incredibly busy in the area where it's located. It also has its own parking lot which is a plus! My order was ready as soon as I arrived. I ordered the Rosemary Breakfast Sammich. Yum! Totally unique and unlike any breakfast sandwich I've had. Super flavorful, and the marriage of the flavors betwixt the fresh baked croissant bun. Chef's kiss! I also ordered a regular drip coffee. It was tasty! The cafe itself is adorable and cozy, but bright and happy. I also really loved reading about (and supporting!) their mission. “Good macarons are hard to come by, but Macaron Bar in Short North has some delicious macarons! They make everything in house from scratch and I can tell they take great pride in delivering a great macaron! I ordered a pistachio macaron and my first bite had the initial crunch of the top and bottom layer. Then came the chewy/doughy of the macaron as I continued to chew my scrumptious macaron. It had the right amount of sweetness and I could taste the pistachio flavor. Wow. Will be back again!“

“My husband and I came in for the first time fri night around 7. The person working the counter was so sweet! They explained each dessert to us and even gave us some samples. The original baklava just came out fresh and we were able to get a taste of that and it was so delicious I could taste hints of rose water. The shop was clean and very chic. “This is top 2 best bakeries coming from a CA girly. My first time visiting Ohio and we came back 3 times in a week. The minimal design showcasing all the fantastic desserts was beautiful. We had the pistachio tart, chocolate bombe & crème brûlée eclair. I DIED! The eclair was our favorite, perfect execution of texture and sweetness. Its a must if you're debating on what to choose. The tart was next fav and chocolate bombe was good but I prefer cake over a mousse. Tried all the seasonal drinks. The honey butter latte was the winner. Staff is professional and friendly. The cherry on top would be if there were more seating inside or outside. Im obsessed with this place and it'll always be a non-negotiable when I visit.“

“We visited Pattycake Bakery and purchased a piece of cake. It was Chocolate Cake with caramel flavored frosting I do believe but it was delicious either way. Not only was it GORGEOUS and matched our theme but Teresa also catered the ingredients to suit my sensitive dog's dietary requirements. “My Husband & I are so grateful to Woodhouse Vegan for hosting & catering our intimate 40 person wedding in September 2022. My husband and I are both vegan, and found the prospect of finding vegan catering for our small wedding daunting. We were thrilled that Woodhouse, one of the best vegan restaurants in Columbus, was open to not only catering our wedding, but also hosting it! Carla & the entire Woodhouse team made our big day incredible!! They did a fantastic job communicating prior to the wedding- we spoke via email, text, phone, and in person at the Woodhouse space. They answered all of our questions & provided helpful suggestions for how the night should run. On the day of our wedding they were flexible and provided us the stress-free easy going atmosphere we were hoping for. Carla kindly whispered a few things in our ears as the night went on letting us know how the bar tab was doing and to check in prior to serving each course. We had so much fun! The entire Woodhouse team helped us craft a delicious multi-course meal that our vegan and non-vegan guests loved. Their drinks were also fantastic! They happily catered to a few picky eaters on the guest list, as well as provided some non-alcoholic options for our non-drinking guests. The atmosphere was gorgeous, as always, and we were thrilled to use both the patio and indoor space. With 40 guests the space felt lively but not crowded. We even had space to install a small archway in the patio for the ceremony. We’re so grateful to the whole Woodhouse team for all they did to make our dream wedding day come to life!“

However, I've tried a few of the others, and they're not bad.The service at this location is pretty good. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my order, even when they were busy. There are ordering kiosks available, or you can place an online order, which speeds thing up even more.My only issue is that you are forced to buy their massive cookies every time. They have smaller cookies, but they're only available with their catering. “I'm very split on this place. I love that they clearly use high quality ingredients. I love that they have creative baked goods and breakfast/brunch items. I love the decor. However it is very expensive. Which would be fine, except half of the time (out of 4-5 times) I have gotten a meal here it has been bland. If I order a ham biscuit with horseradish sauce, that should have a ton of flavor, but lo and behold, somehow that happened (although the biscuits have always been consistently good). Where do you buy bland ham from? The service is generally quite dry... I always kind of get the impression that I'm an inconvenience. The employees aren't overtly mean or disrespectful, but they don't really do much to make the place feel welcoming. Again, that'd be fine if it weren't for the lack of consistency and the prices. However their desserts have always been very good, and I always like to see what seasonal pie they are doing. It's hard for me not to step in and buy a slice when I'm walking by on the sidewalk. You'd find me coming here much more often if they could make their breakfast/brunch consistently good enough to justify the high prices.“

“I've been buying the bread and buckeye's from The Candied Cottage for almost a year now. The breads are moist full of flavor, they freeze great and tastes as good as when you purchased them. The buckeyes have a great chocolate taste, I have purchased the dark and milk chocolate buckeyes. “Drove cross town to get donuts. Posted hours online and on their door says 7 to 3. They are closed at 1pm. Great customer service!!! There were somebody actually in the store and when I asked them when they would be open again they pointed at the sign. the same sign that says they should be open right now! For the 10 minutes it took me to write this post..4 different customers tried to visit. Guess yawl got enough money... don't need the business. Not even a sign saying why you are closed. Meanwhile 2 employees are inside cleaning... watching us like we stupid... cause we think you should be open. Guess I'll go back to supporting the local bakeries that have been here!!“

“After seeing pictures of their fully loaded pastry cases, I made plans to go right away. Crème de La Crème has a very European feel, from the efficient but not saccharine women at the counter, to the light classical music playing, to the warm, seemingly sparkling tea room-esqe interior. It was very pleasant and beautiful inside. I had a cappuccino (very good), avocado toast, which felt a little small but plated nicely and good, and 2 items from the case. Though I feel a bit of guilt saying it, for narrative integrity I will disclose that the pastries were not very good. The eclair had a white chocolate robing, which was waxy and flavorless, much like the filling. The fresh strawberry cake was not very light, and while soaked nicely in a syrup, also did not have much fresh cream lightness, or many strawberries to cut through the mouth-coating fat content of the whipped cream and custard. I'm sure they were made that day (right?) but had in my heart I sensed they had languished in the case too long somehow. All and all, I would absolutely go back! This would be a very cute experience to bring a friend to catch up, order too many beautiful treats, and have an overall elevated cafe experience. No hipsters in sight, A+“

The coffee shop has their main area, as well as another room for studying or working remotely. I will definitely be coming back to enjoy the ambiance!“
