“Came here for my birthday and had a solid meal. The cheese curds were pretty good but the accompanying sauces weren't terrific. My wife got the tomato basil, which was delicious and would definitely get again. I really enjoyed the brisket melt but I thought it could have used more sauce options. The mushroom au jus was nice but more liquid would have gone a long way. Definitely want to go back for all the other things on the menu I was interested in.“

“Never had a bad thing from Chuggers. The only downside, on some nights service can be rough, but that's expected. And some of the pool league people are douchebags, in my experience. That's my biggest issue with "atmosphere". But during sporting events everyone is amazing!“

“We love Papous. For a casual bar, they have an expansive menu with a little bit of everything. They also have an entire sheet of specials that are seasonal. They have quick and attentive service. We have become regulars and have to say it is one of the most consistent places to eat in the area.“

“I often stop here while out riding with my friends for a beer and a burger. It's kind of old school with many tables which they move around to accommodate the number of people in your party. The major emphasis is the bar, and it's clean, with courteous bartenders and servers. Not really a place to visit for an upscale dinner, although I've never had a bad sandwich there. Nice place to stop in for a sandwich and a cocktail.“

“We were in town for a concert and decided to stop by Ray's for a late lunch/early dinner. Ray's is a super casual townie bar. Service was quick and friendly. They offer a good variety of local beer options as well as old standards. My husband ordered the cheeseburger and onions rings. They were great, he said the burger tasted fresh off the bbq! I ordered the poutine fries - the serving is more than enough to share with a group and oh was it good. The meat was smoky and delicious and the fries were crisp- so good. We would definitely recommend Ray's and return if we're in town!“

“This pub is a great local find! Not to big and not to small. My son and I went for the 1st time on St. Patrick's day. The staff was friendly, the menu was just good, the food was great! It looked to be busy with local residents. If you're looking for somewhere to eat with good food, quaint pub atmosphere , friendly staff, and a menu that won't break the bank... well, then I highly recommend you come to Stowaway Pub in Stow, Ohio. “I've been on the patron side of bars going on 4 decades in 50 states. I have to give this bar credit where credit is due. Of all the bars in Akron, this one is the cleanest and classiest by far. Of course I could find some things that they could improve upon. No bar is perfect. But this one comes close. Cleanest restrooms, friendly staff, prices are decent. They doing it right. Upscale slightly older crowd. Highly recommend.“

“Real gem of a Thai restaurant, with some great, unexpected offerings. I've eaten Thai around the country, this is probably the best I've had in Ohio at the price point. Atmosphere and service were fine, but the food was the star. The husband and wife cook team do magic in the back. Easy to find and park. Clean, spacious, and quiet atmosphere. The menu is pretty traditional, but the food has such strong, well-balanced flavors! They will also make things "thai hot" spicy. I have a high heat tolerance, usually order spicy/ extra spicy. Medium here is hot. Ingredients were fresh and cooked properly. Portions are generous. I ordered: dumplings (7.5/10, i love gyoza/dumplings, these were hot, fresh, no surprises), tea leaf salad (8.7/10, excited to see this super flavorful Burmese dish offered, well executed, never had with tomatoes), chicken larb (8.5/10, again amazing flavor, great citrus savory balance), beef pho (7.4/10, not a pho place, but was happy to see it), green curry (9.2/10, everything Thai curry should be, so good), Pad Woo Sen (9.1/10, rich, complex, savory, really satisfying, didn't expect this to be a good as it was), Pad Thai (8/10, well executed, traditional). Thai tea and bubble tea were delicious. My date and I ordered way too much, but I am coming back to try the rest of the menu.“
