“Longan ice cream was delicious and service was impeccable. Was pleasantly surprised to find they make cheesecakes without vanilla. I mistakenly thought their yuzu cheesecake has vanilla as my entire body reacted with hives. However, they were amazing and reached out via social media to clarify it's because their longan ice cream has vanilla which ? was my fault because I didn't ask. Thanks again for making it clearer. Would revisit again.“

“From outside you don't expect more than a casual coffee shop, but boy was I pleasantly surprised! An extensive all-day breakfast menu, as well as large lunch meals on offer. Service is friendly, presentation of meals is beautiful, and everything was delicious - definitely a place to try ?“

“It was me and my boyfriends anniversary last night and he surprised me with a new ice cream place after work. Such a cute ice cream shop.The lady and the man working there, were so nice!The ice cream was absolutely delicious.He had a Nutella and chocolate and I had Oreo + lotus. Very grateful for the lovely customer service and had a great time. Beautiful seating area too!Definitely will come back in the future!“

“These guys are awesome, I worked with them for a corporate catering order and the food both savory and fruit were super fresh and in season. I had more than a few employees with specific dietary needs and they were willing to wrap up and label many items separately to prevent cross contamination. There are vegan, vegetarian, GF and Halal options which was very helpful. Delivery to our office was on time and Karim was very nice to help us carry the order upstairs to our kitchen as we don't have an elevator. Without asking they packed metal tongs, serveware, disposable cutlery and plates, salt, pepper and ketchup without me asking which was very helpful. My only feedback is that I didn't know the Halal breakfast sausage was actually a Halal hot dog! No complaints from my employees though - will be ordering from here again when I get the chance!“

“First visit to Maranello and won’t be the last ? We were greeted warmly and promptly served warm and delicious food! Not pictured but our party also ordered a meatball sandwich (big hit with a 6yo) and a veal plate with side veggies. ? There are washrooms and extra seating area in the back of the restaurant. Parking is easy to find right in front and across the street from the cafe. Fresh & tasty food, quick & friendly service and reasonably priced. What more can one ask for?2nd visit - tried the carbonara with spaghetti ??“

“This is my favourite study spot as a student hands down. I’ve been coming to Halo since I was in high school, so for about 4 years I’ve been frequenting this place and have introduced almost all of my friends and family to it. Despite the food and coffee being on the pricey side—they allow you to stay in the cozy, comfortable café ambiance so I’d say it’s worth it! The barista’s are always so friendly and even the customers of this place are friendly as well. The next time you’re thinking about going to mega-corporations like Starbucks, I’d opt to support local businesses like Halo instead :)“

“Would give this 6 stars if I could. My wife and I went here on a whim last night and I’m so glad we did. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. You can tell the level of attention and detail they put into everything. From the interior decor, to the cocktails (try the Pineapple Express, and my wife said her espresso martini was one of the best she’s had), carefully curated wine list, service, FOOD, right down to the coffee beans they pick. Every dish blew us away, we are determined to come back now and explore the whole menu. Our server Julie, was so attentive and enthusiastic and helped guide us expertly through the menu. Her passion for the food and this restaurant is infectious. I can’t recall the chefs name, but the story behind his journey to opening this spot is incredible. I won’t do it justice, so I would encourage you to ask about it when you visit. We have been waiting for a spot like this to open up in port credit ever since we moved from city. Can’t wait to come back to try the brunch menu and the rest of the dinner menu.“

“Studio 89 has always been a place of comfort for me. I do miss the old location but the energy and passion has only amplified at this location. This place continues to inspire and remind me of the importance of kindness, humanity and consistent strive for community change. On my most recent visit, I attended a coffee watercolour paint day, where the café repurposed used coffee grinds. This innovative practice caught my attention, as well as placing it near international dog day (also my dogs birthday) allowed me to bring my dog and my parents to participate in accessible outdoor fun for all of us and creating some art to celebrate a fun day. This was just one example of the many ways 89 continues to inspire me and the community at large.“

“First time visiting Diana’s, as it was recommended by a friend. Overall, a good selection. I came here on a Sunday morning, so it wasn’t busy. If you purchase 6 pastries, so that’s what I did. Overall, they tasted very good. Really enjoyed the ricotta filling and the almond cookies were also great.“

“I've been working in the same area as this cafe for over 10 years and always told myself I was gonna try it - well today was the day! I got the tuna melt and their soup of the day. The soup was the cream of mushroom and was super fresh and delicious... A bit on the saltier side, but delicious nonetheless. The tuna was fresh and tasty and I love that it came with a side of hot peppers and pickles. The sandwich was a good size to get alone, but if you're hungry I'd definitely recommend getting soup as well.Honestly, I'm so glad I finally tried this place - I'll definitely be back to try more items off the menu!“

“We came here solely to play board games. Didn’t try the food so it would not be right to drop a review on that. However we had their iced tea which was great. Such cute bottles for serving it. They have a $8 entry fee and a 2.5 hours seating only probably cause it was a Sunday. However the ambience and the types of board games available was amazing! We had a great time. Definitely coming back to play more and eat something too!“

“Definitely recommend. Not many people know this place because it's inside a small building. But it's definitely a hidden gem!! ? Fresh bread and coffee. Great sandwiches and wraps, and they also serve K-food that changes menu every day.I got tuna casserole and Bibibbam, rice with different kinds of veggies.“

“Although there's very limited vegan-friendly places in Mississauga, myself and many vegan activists love this place. However, I strongly urge the staff to ditch wearing fur coats. We approached them with kindness and asked them if they are willing to put up no fur small poster at their door (nothing graphic and it's a compassionate stance) without hurting customers who wears fur. It really makes myself and others so uncomfortable. Vegan establishments is literally the only place we feel safe and have socials after a long day. Many vegan restaurants/cafes in Toronto are even doing their part in fur activism by putting up fur posters that kindly ask customers to not wear them, and they are still welcomed to the establishment. Please ask the staff to not wear fur in ANY vegan establishments. It's disrespectful.“

“Food was really good! We had cappucinos, omlette and shakshuka, and a side order of the potatoes and a hazelnut royale croissant to end our brunch. All of the food was fantastic, they dont take resos, so get there early, and it takes a tiny bit of time, but the wait is worth it for the food!!“

“Visited this gem for the first time today and it will not be my last! The staff are amazing, so kind and welcoming. The cafe is clean and bright with lots of seating to hang out and chat. And the drinks, my friends, the drinks are incredible! I tried both a coffee and tea drink and both were incredible! Hot and perfectly brewed, deliciously spiced to create a unique and aromatic flavour. I can't wait to visit again and try the whole menu!“
